Lucy
I looked around once we appeared, trying to figure out where we were. I deduced that we were in the forests around Magnolia. The moon was out.
"Cmon," I said, staring down the path. Will quickly followed.
"What was that place?" He asked.
"That," I replied, "Was the dragon realm. It's where all dragons come from."
"How did we get there?" I explained to him that, because I am dragonborn, I had teleported us there, knowing we would be safe from pursuers. What I didn't know, was that it would almost kill Will. He was grinning the whole time though.
"So you're a dragonslayer too, then?" He asked. I just nodded.
"What kind of dragonslayer are you?"
"Celestial. I'm guessing that you're the crystal dragonslayer." His grin looked like it would split him in two.
"Yep." he said simply.
"So why was the mayor trying to catch you?" I asked. His smile turned abashed.
"I had a big gem, so they assumed I had stole it. In reality, I had made it, and was going to sell it for food. It's my last resort, but I had run out of money. I guess he got mad that I avoided his men for as long as I did, and called your guild for help. What guild are you a part of?"
"Fairy Tail."
"When did that happen?" He asked. I smiled, thinking on my early days in the guild.
" A little more than 10 years ago. I was actually brought there by the fire dragonslayer, after I left dad."
"Do you regret that?" Will's face was worried. "Leaving dad?"
"No." I shook my head. "I was still saddened by his death, but we had grown too far apart, I guess." I smiled. "We'll just have to take care of each other now." Will smiled back.
"I guess you're right."
Suddenly he stopped. "What is that smell?" He asked sniffing the air. I started to sniff as well. Blood. I thought, eyes wide. I looked at him, and he nodded, having figured it out. We started running into Magnolia. The guild.
We turned the corner, and say a ghastly sight. The doors of the guild hall were in pieces. Members of the guild were spread around outside, laying on the ground. All of them seemed injured, as all of them were bruised and bloodied.
"L-L-LLuce?" I saw Levy lying on the ground not far from us. I rushed over. She was horribly injured. She had a large cut on her side that was bleeding.
"Hold on!" I said, calling forth my magic. I yelled. "Stardust!" Levy's wound stopped bleeding as golden light bathed her body. She smiled at me.
"Go... I-inside. Hel-l-lp...Natsu." She said, before passing out. I stood up, turning to Will.
"Let's go."
Inside wasn't much better. Only Natsu seemed to be left standing, and he wasn't looking good. There was a dark figure standing before him.
"Where is the Celestial dragonslayer?!" It roared. Natsu grimaced.
"How many times do I have to say it." He yelled back. "I'll never tell you where she is."
Natsu
I had felt someone enter the hall, but it didn't matter anymore. This beast was going to kill me, here and now. I hope you're safe Luce. I saw his fist headed straight for me. I love you. Suddenly, a wall of diamond appeared in between us. I heard a man's voice.
"Adamant Barrier!" It had cried. I wondered who could have saved me. I felt the darkness calling out to me, and I dropped to my knees.
'Naatsuuu!" Lucy. I smiled, as the darkness overwhelmed me.
I dreamed. Me and Lucy were sitting on a blanket, underneath a tree. She was laughing at something.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Oh, nothing." She said, smiling. She sighed, then moved close, resting her head on my shoulder. I started stroking her hair absently, smiling.
"I wish this would never end." I said quietly. We relaxed, and looked out over the city. Together.
Lucy
I saw him fall, and my heart dropped. I felt sadness, but overall, i was just Angry. Will stepped back.
"Luce?" he asked. I looked at him. My body had started to glow, and my eye had nearly turned black.
"Get Natsu and leave." I told him. He obeyed, picking up Natsu and carrying him outside.
"So you're the celestial dragon slayer." Said the figure. He was tall, and seemed to be covered in hair. "Allow me to introduce myself, I am...."
"I don't care." I had started to float above the ground. The ground underneath me Had fractured from the power radiating from me. "You hurt my friends. For that, there is no excuse." I flew at him.
"Strike of the star god!" My fist, bathed in black light, slammed into him, knocking him into the ground hard enough to make a small crater.
"Roar of the celestial dragon!" A huge beam of light flew from my mouth, hitting the figure. I flew there, waiting for the smoke to clear. To my surprise, he stood there, smiling.
"As I was saying, my name is Len, from the guild dark moon." He bowed. "And now, if you'll come with me?"
"Never!" I said. I pulled two golden keys out of the case at my hip. "Open gates of the Lion, Sea-goat. Leo, Capricorn!" The two spirits appeared in front of me.
"Hey Luce," Loke, or leo said, slyly. "Been a while."
"Evening, Ma'am." Capricorn said, bowing.
"So you still retain the ability to summon spirits?" Len scoffed. "No matter, I will destroy them, like the rest of your pathetic guildmates." The two spirits charged. A black Light enveloped Len's hands.
"Dark god's endless night!" He yelled. Loke screamed, as a bolt of pure shadow struck his stomach. He struck the ground, warping the area around where he hit. Capricorn had been hit in the chest, and had flew through the wall of the guild out into the city. Both disappeared in a puff of golden smoke.
"So pathetic." Len said. "Almost as weak as that fire mage." He laughed. "So, are you stronger, or will this be boring?" I roared. I felt parts of my skin turning to scales. My teeth grew longer, and my fingernails turned to claws.
"Hmmm.. So this is the so called "Dragon Force"." Len scoffed. "Not too impressive, if you ask me." I charged.
"Star god's spectral sword!" I yelled. My arm became wrapped in light that formed a long blade. I swung it toward Len.
"Dark god's retribution!" A huge mass of black energy surged around his fist, before it collided with mine. Both attacks exploded in a huge burst of light. When the dust cleared, both of us stood on opposite sides of a crater, panting.
"Not bad." Len said. He had a finger to his ear. "Let's make this quick, I have things to do." He ran at me.
"Shadow god's penance!" He yelled. His leg, cloaked with shadow, slammed into my stomach, knocking the wind out of me. He quickly followed it with an elbow to the face, knocking me away. It was my turn to charge.
"Secret art: Celestial dragon's Star shedder!" The claws on my hands grew, and were surrounded by starlight. I slashed at Len multiple times, only striking once however. He lept away, the gashes in his arm bleeding heavily. I gave him no reprieve.
"Star Dragon's crushing light!" A huge beam of light pounded Len from above, pushing him to his knees. "Celestial dragon's meteor!" I struck him in the solar plexus knocking him into the wall of the guild hall, fracturing it. He fell to the floor, coughing. He had his hand up to his ear again.
"It... looks like we'll have to continue this another time." Len said. His body had turned solid black. Suddenly he disappeared in a cloud of shadow. When it dissipated, he was gone. My scales and claws disappeared, and my teeth went back to their regular size. They were gritted in pain, as the adrenaline wore off. I had broken at least two ribs, I was sure. I collapsed, as my head started throbbing. I started to black out. Might have overdone it a bit. I laughed, before the darkness engulfed me.
