We have been living here in Indiana for almost 6 years. I am 22 years old now and I have a family of my own. My husband is Joshua T. Crude and we have 4 children of our own. Momma still lives with us and Mr. Crude and his family have a house next to ours. We have come a long way since our journey to freedom began.

Moses still stops by on her journeys farther up North and we have helped make the journey for a lot more slaves easier for them. Momma helps take care of our kids while me and Joshua go back south and help the Underground Railroad with whatever we can.

We didn't make it to Canada like we was planning but we did find freedom and a wonderful life. We dedicated our lives to helping the Underground Railroad help others find freedom like we did!

Whatever happen to Fredrick John Myers I cannot say. But I can tell you this, He could never say again that none of his slaves every got away; because Momma and me, we are living-proof that there was!!
