You were at home (his house) just lounging around, bored out of your mind. Then you got an idea. Being the rebellious girl you are, you decided to explore around the town. You grabbed your bag and packed some rations. Akai (this is his name, when I looked it up) was out doing other stuff, taking the chance to explore more. Even though he strictly forbade you from doing so, you didn't give two shits.

You walked down the path after closing and locking the front door. You went to the nearest building and started there. You were kind of wondering why this town was abandoned and why people fear this place. You chose not to think about it and continued to do what you were doing.

By the time you were done exploring the building, you heard the sirens go off. 'I swear I wasn't out that long.' You thought, already walking home. You were about to turn on the path to home, but a creature jumped out in front of you.

(That looks like it could be in Silent Hill, it's not mine btw)

You froze in your spot, paralyzed from a certain memory.

{A long time ago when you were 8}

You and your once happy family were out camping one day. You weren't to far from the camper exploring when a snake came in front of you. You froze standing and shaking in fear. You cried out to your dad and he came with a worried expression on his face. He saw you standing dangerously close to a snake. He wasn't sure if it was poisonous, but he didn't want you getting bit. As soon as the snake jumped, your dad quickly grabbed you out of harm's way, taking the bite. Thankfully, it wasn't poisonous.

But that was so many years ago. Your dad isn't with you now to protect you. That's why you became a fearless one. You swore to yourself that you would defend yourself on your dad's behalf, but right now wasn't the time. As if right on que, you were picked up by Akai as soon as the creature jumped. He managed to fend off the creature while still holding you, surprisingly. After he made the creature go away, he still held like he was carrying you home. You could feel an angry glare on you so you put your head down in shame.

You realized you were home when you were set down on the couch. He then sat next to you, looking for a reasonable explanation on why you went out.

"I'm sorry for going out without your permission. I just wanted to explore a little bit," You began. "It was my fault that ran into that thing. I should've waited until you got back."

You bring your knees close to your chest as you waited for a response. You heard him sigh heavily then opened his arms directed towards you. You gladly accepted his hug of forgiving you. You were glad you went out today. Because if you didn't, you wouldn't have gotten a hug.
