You sat in your living room in your apartment watching a boring old show that was on. You were wanting to do something adventurous and daring. You looked up scary/haunted places nearby. You scrolled through the results and one called 'Silent Hill' caught your eye. You clicked on the link and it took you to a site all about the place. You were observing the images someone had put up and seemed to look abandoned. You got really excited because this was a great opportunity to relax from all the stress in the small town you were living in. You could finally have an adventure for once.

You were ready to go when you had your bag packed. Your bag consisted of clothes, your devices with earbuds, and other necessities. After you walked out of your apartment, you put up your hood on the jacket you wore. You didn't want to get harassed by strangers for what happened to you back then. You can vividly still remember what had happened to your mother. You saw your dad standing over her with a broken beer bottle, breathing heavily. You couldn't bear to keep looking, so you ran. That was probably why you weren't scared of anything now. Except for your dad. You weren't paying attention until you hit a road sign saying that Silent Hill is to the right. You rubbed the sore spot on your head and read the sign. A smile grew and you started to run in that direction. You could care less about the bump on your head, you were just excited to have a great time.

When you arrived you slowed down and saw that the buildings were, in fact, abandoned like in the images. It was almost dark out and you took the time to explore a bit. You didn't even get to the first building when you heard sirens go off (like the ones in the movie). You knew it was bad since it was dark out and saw no one on the streets. You ran into a random store and hid somewhere to not be seen. You weren't afraid of what was about to come after you, you were afraid that he would come after you. You think that your father might have saw you and was coming to get you. After a while of silence you thought it was safe, but that idea went away as soon as you heard growling. You were not going to die today, nope. You stayed there until something latched onto your leg and dragged you out. You started to kick with your other leg, hoping whatever it was, it would let you go. You kept kicking until your leg got released and heard a small whine. You looked up to see a man with a metal pyramid like thing on his head, standing over the creature that had grabbed you. The creature ran away and the man turned to you. You saw that he was holding a giant sword so you said nothing. After a bit of staring at each other, he turned around and started to walk away.

"Hey, wait!" You yelled and got up, grabbing your bag.

The man said nothing and continued walking. You slowly caught up to him and walked behind him quietly.

"So, um, what's your name? Mine is (Y/n)."

Once again, no answer. But instead of walking further, he stopped. You probably said something that might have offended him. He turned to look at you standing a few feet behind him. He waved his hand towards himself, as if saying to follow. You mumbled a small 'okay' and he started to walk again. You slowly followed behind him as he lead you through the darkness. You soon arrived at a small house that was probably his home. Both of you went inside and you saw that is wasn't that bad. You went to the living room and sat on the couch as he closed and locked the door. He came in soon after and sat on the other end. He didn't know it, but you thought how this was probably a start to a new friendship.
