A/N: I know that Ancano is mean in Skyrim, but I wanted him to be sweet to you in this one-shot. Plus, you have no choice on your race. You will be a High Elf.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!" My not-so-favorite friend, J'zargo, yelled right at my door way. I groan and sit up.

"J'zargo, what do you want at this time? Can't you see that I'm trying to sleep?" I say annoyed.

"I was told to give this to you." He handed me a folded piece of parchment. I smile then tell him thanks. He leaves to go back to his quarters. I open the parchment and read it aloud.

From the place where all knowledge is held. A person who awaits you to grab the next clue.

"Where all knowledge is held.... Maybe the realm of Herma Mora. No, there isn't an access to that without reading a Black Book. Is it talking about inside the Hall of Elements? It has to be." I say quietly so I wouldn't wake anyone. I put on my expert robes on and the matching hood. I slipped on my boots and made my way to the Hall of Elements.

I take a right into the Arcanaeum. Not many of the senior members are in. The ones that are up are reading or researching for their experiments. I go up to Urag and lean up against the counter.

"How's my favorite Orc doing?" I asking, knowing it would annoy him.

"What is it now, (Y/N)?" He said. I laugh quietly.

"I'm trying to find my next clue. You see, one of my classmates woke me up to give me a note saying, 'From the place where all knowledge is held. A person awaits you to grab the next clue.' Do you by any chance have my next clue?"

"No, I don't have your clue." He said. "Check with Mirabelle to see if she has it." He added pointing over to the master wizard reading a book at the table on the left.

"Thank you, Urag." I skip over to her and smile.

"Hello Mirabelle. Do you have my clue by any chance?" I say cheerfully.

"Ah! (Y/N), I've been waiting for you. Here." She hands me the same looking piece of parchment. I read it aloud just like the first one.

So, you've found my clue. Now for the next clue. The first thing that you saw on day one. A clue begs for you to open it.

That's easy. The first thing I saw when I entered through the gates was the pool of Magicka with Shalidor, the first Arch-Mage, standing behind it. Maybe it'll be around there.

"I best be going, Mirabelle. I want to get to the end of this so I can sleep. Bye!" I walk away and to that pool of Magicka in the courtyard. It only took like five minutes to get there. I look on the side of the pool, not far from Shalidor. Like the other two I read it aloud.

Congratulations, (Y/N). You've found the third out of four clues. Now, this next one is fairly easy. The clue is where most of the deadra is summoned. The last clue will be right in front of you.

Seriously? I go there all the time when I'm not in class or working on experiments. Although, they did say that it was fairly easy, but this was a piece of Apple Pie.

I arrive about ten minutes later. I do see a figure leaning over the railing, looking down. It has the slip of parchment in between its finger. Maybe this is who I need to meet. It did say, 'The last clue will be right in front of you.'

"Hello? Are you my last clue?" I say moving closer to it. It was indeed a man because of the shape of the figure. His head whips over to my direction and I can see a smile on his face. I go halfway and he goes the other half.

Once met up, I see Ancano with the slip of paper. He hands it to me without saying a word to me. It read:

I don't really show it in public, but I know deep down that it's you that holds my heart. If anyone wants to take you away from me, then I'll make life miserable for them. I'm just kind of guy. I don't know if you'll accept this, but I love you. I love you, (Y/N). I know that you love me, but I wanted to tell you by sending you on this little game.

Look up.

I look up to see a handsome man that I love ever so dearly. Yes, we are secret lovers, but I still don't understand why Ancano sent me on this game.

"Ancano..." I begin.

"Please, (Y/N), let me say this." He cuts me off. I open my mouth to protest, but then shut it. "I love you. You bring everything positive into my life. I want to be with you until my days are up. Will you be my magical wife?"

"Yes. Of course. I love you so much, Ancano. Thank you." I say hugging him.

"I love you too, (Y/N)." We stayed there hugging until I fell asleep in his comforting arms. My soon-to-be husband.
