"Okay, I get that you want to impress Seokjin hyung and all, but there's no need to be this excited."

"I'm not trying to impress him!" Jungkook squawks, swatting at Taehyung's head.

"Your blushing face says otherwise."

"I— I'm not blushing!"

Taehyung clucks his tongue against the roof of his mouth as he shakes his head. "Denial. You totally like him."

"No, I don't—"

"Damn, stop yelling! You're going to break my eardrums." Taehyung rolls his eyes and finishes applying the last bit of eyeliner underneath Jungkook's eyes. "My masterpiece is complete. You look great."

"I always do."

"Yah, don't get too cocky."

"Wow, Jungkook, you look nice!"

Said boy grins bashfully. "Thanks, Jimin hyung."

"Yeah," Yoongi adds, "not bad, kid."

"Stop calling me—"

"Anyway," Taehyung says hurriedly, cutting off Jungkook and earning a glare from him, "Namjoon hyung, Seokjin hyung, Hoseokie? What do you guys think?"

Yoongi scoffs. "I thought I told you to stop calling him that."

"Yoongi," Hoseok says exasperatedly, "Tae's been calling me Hoseokie since preschool. You can't just tell him to stop because it annoys you. God, you get jealous so easily."

"Yeah, you really do," Namjoon says, snickering. "Remember that one time—"

"Don't you dare bring that up," hisses Yoongi. "I told you to never talk about that, ever again."

Hoseok and Namjoon erupt into giggles as Yoongi glares daggers at them.

"Anyway," Seokjin says, fighting back a laugh as he attempts to ease the mood, "back to Jungkook, yeah?" He glances at the boy, and suddenly Jungkook is nervous.

What if Seokjin doesn't think he looks handsome? What if he thinks he looks ugly, even?

Jungkook wipes his clammy palms on his pants, looking at Seokjin.

"You look cute."

Suddenly, all of Jungkook's anxiety is gone and is replaced by irritation, which is fueled by Taehyung's laughter. He crosses his arms and turns his chair away from the laptop. "Jungkookie," Taehyung giggles, latching himself onto the younger's arm. "Kookie, stop getting so upset. Seokjin hyung calls everyone cute. Don't take it personally."

"Tell him to say sorry."

Taehyung is puzzled. "What?"

"Tell him to say sorry," Jungkook repeats, pouting. "I put in all this effort to look handsome, and he calls me cute? Tell him to say sorry."

He hears the other males' laughter erupt from his laptop speakers behind him.

"Aww," Taehyung laughs. "You're so—" He freezes mid-sentence when Jungkook glares at him so ferociously that he actually leans away. "Right. Uh, I'll ask him to apologize to you."

Jungkook turns back around and is startled when Seokjin immediately says, "I'll apologize for calling you cute if you do something sexy."

"Sexy?" Jungkook splutters. "But I'm not good at that kind of stuff—"

"Please?" Seokjin says cutely. "I'll say sorry!"

"Fine," he mutters, and attempts a flying kiss.

"Sexy!" Jimin exclaims excitedly. "Jungkookie, you're good at this!"

Jungkook hides his face in his arm. "Stop," he mumbles embarrassedly, voice muffled by the sleeve of his sweater.

"Okay, I'm sorry for calling you cute, Jungkook," Seokjin says sweetly. "Happy?"

Jungkook looks up, feeling slightly foolish. "Yeah," he murmurs, ears burning in embarrassment.

"I'm going to bed," Namjoon murmurs sleepily, rubbing his eyes. "Night, guys."

"Good night, Namjoon."

"Night, Namjoon-ssi."

Namjoon logs out, and Seokjin smiles at Jungkook. "So just you and me alone again, yeah?"

Jungkook rubs the back of his neck nervously. "Yeah. Um," he stammers, "I— I'm sorry for being fussy earlier."

"Fussy?"

"Yeah, like— like getting upset over you guys calling me cute," Jungkook says, looking away. "It was kind of immature."

"Not really," Seokjin says. "I thought it was cute."

Jungkook lets out a groan of exasperation as Seokjin giggles. "Aish—"

"Yah, don't curse at your hyung."

Jungkook playfully rolls his eyes. "Fine, sorry."

"Sorry?" Seokjin raises his eyebrows expectantly. "That's it?"

"Sorry, hyung."

"I can sense your sarcasm through my laptop."

"Good."
