You and Cory were living in two different states, you being in California and Cory in New York (I think).

It was coming to you guy's usual Skype call and you sat on your bed with your laptop open.

Once the time came, the Skype noises were heard and Cory's profile popped on the screen. (I know nothing about Skype so... Bear with me)

"Hey Cory!!" You exclaimed with a huge smile on your face. Not only you were happy to see him, but you had a little surprise for him as well.

"(Y/N)!! How are you?" Cory began looking into the camera.

"I'm good." You replied trying to hide your excitement. Cory noticed it, but didn't bring it up.

"So what's up? How's school?" Cory asked. You were still in college while Cory was making his videos.

"It's alright. I'm actually on break now, which is awesome. I really needed it." You sighed with a small smile.

"I'm glad. Are you getting those good grades?" Cory asked like a mom. You rolled your eyes.

"Yes, Mom." You teased as Cory chuckled through the screen.

Cory stopped laughing and looked somewhat serious at the camera.

"I miss you, (Y/N)." He said pursing his lip. You bit your lip trying not to scream about this surprise.

"I miss you too." You replied trying to be calm. Then you reached for your nightstand and took the surprise in your hands, making sure Cory didn't see.

"You should fly over here sometime." Cory said with a hint of sadness in his voice.

"Yeah about that..." You said with some hesitation. Cory's ears perked up to your voice.

"I have something to show you." You edged on. You held the surprise between your fingers.

"What?" Cory asked, his attention on the screen.

You brought your hand our in front of the camera very slowly. An open smile curved your lips and you showed Cory the plane ticket you bought.

"(Y/N) what's that?" Cory asked chuckling. Oh yeah, Skype isn't HQ sometimes.

"A plane ticket to New York!!" You said excitedly. Cory soon was in shock, his hand on his forehead.

"(Y/N) no way." He muttered. You nodded rapidly as you flopped the piece of paper in front of the screen.

"Yeah way!! I'm coming tomorrow morning!! I'm leaving 9PST and departing 3EST in New York." You explained quickly.

Cory was a loss of words, too happy to even bring any out.

"(Y/N) oh my god. How long are you staying?" He finally said. You told him one week; that was enough of catching up to do.

"I'm already packed and about to go to the airport. I'll be back in Cali just in time school starts again." You explained further.

On the other side, Cory was jumping with happiness. You laughed at his excitement.

"You're amazing you know that?" Cory sniffled a little out of joy. You giggled.

"I know." You joked as you saw the time.

7:12 PM

"Hey, Cory. You should get some sleep, or try to since it's probably 10 o'clock there. You have to pick me up early!!" Your shuffled in your bed trying not to make to much noise.

"Okay okay. Well, bye (Y/N)!!"

"Bye, Cory!!"

Then the call ended. Also, why would he say 'bye'? He's only gonna see you in a couple hours anyways ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
