The next day at school, Skyler walked up to her locker, which is where Jessica was standing. "What do you want, Skyler," Jessica said, angrily, "and what was up with leaving me in your living room to draw?!" Skyler signalled for Jessica to move to the side. Jessica moved over, but continued to stare at Skyler. "Are you going to answer me, or not?" Skyler sighed. "Listen, you had the easiest part of this whole project. How could you screw it up?!" Jessica stared at Skyler. The day before, Jessica was at Skyler's house to help with a simple project. All she had to do was draw a picture of an orange tabby cat.
~The Day Before~
     Skyler returned to see Jessica still sitting with a blank piece of paper in front of her. Skyler had left for about an hour to work on cooking, and in the meantime, Jessica was doing nothing but sitting and staring at a piece of paper. "What are you doing?" Skyler questioned Jessica. "I don't remember what the cat looks like." Jessica replied. Skyler set the picture of the cat next to Jessica to help her see what to draw. "There, this is what you're drawing." Skyler had left to do some chores for the next two hours. When Skyler returned, Jessica was gone, with a note left on the table....
It read,
"I left for my house because it is getting fairly late. I will bring the picture tomorrow finished, just be sure to bring the research we did to school. See you tomorrow.
   -Jessica =)

~Back to Present Time~
     Jessica twirled her hair with her finger while continuously rocking back and forth. Skyler paced back and forth, unsure of what to do. The project was due today, and they didn't have anything, considering when Jessica had taken the report picture with her, she had also taken the research papers too. And she had forgotten all of it at her house.
     "I have a plan," Jessica exclaimed, "I can call my mom to bring all of the papers to the school! Therefore, we will officially have a report to present." Jessica whipped out her phone and clicked on her messaging app and began messaging her mother.
     I hope she gets here soon. The project is due in two hours, and she's lucky I don't beat her up for forgetting the only thing that could bring my grade down dramatically. She better be able to retrieve those papers. Skyler thought with an angry expression on her face.

Hey everyone!! I'm back after a LONG time! Between school and family stuff I haven't the time to do very much writing. I'd like to apologize for the short chapter, but my brain isn't working at the moment. That's probably because it's 2:35 A.M. right now. I will try to post a bit more, and I'm thinking about writing another fanfiction in hopes that it will actually be good. As for who's fanfiction this is, that bit will remain a secret. The first chapter of this fanfic I will try to post on December 30th (a.k.a. tomorrow).
