A/N: Sorry for the long wait on this book I got caught up with my studies, and then got  writer's block, and now I'm writing again as I came up with a really good idea for this book on my birthday yesterday... so this chapter will feature the start of my idea for this story.

Skylar pulled apart the hug from Sebastian and followed his parents to the dining room where they sat down and spoke. Skylar took a deep breath as he sat down and said

"I think I'm going crazy about something. I think something is wrong with me, or I could just be paranoid, please help me understand." Rachel leaned over the table took Skylar's hand and said

"Understand what sweet boy?" Skylar looked up at his parents and said

"Why I keep going to the past? And not just the past itself, but specific parts of the past, and it normally happens when I'm either asleep, upset or angry and the past I keep going to is yours." Sebastian in his gut knew that it would happen again, but Rachel didn't want to listen. He knew they should have put a dampening chip in him when they had the choice, but Rachel didn't want it to happen, and didn't want anything messing up Skylar's body or have him be angry with him. Sebastian looked at Rachel sat next to him and said

"I knew it would happen. But you didn't want to listen to me about it, we should have did that when we had the choice, he inherited from you, we should have did the same thing to Skylar what your parents did to you. " Rachel looked back at Sebastian and said

"And I didn't want anything in Skylar's body or have him be angry at us if we did that to him, and yes my dads did that and look where that has gotten me Sebby." Skylar looked at Sebastian and Rachel and said

"What's going on? Dad what do you mean I inherited this from mum? What did you want to do to me that my grandpas did to mum?" Sebastian continued to look at Rachel and said

"Tell him Rachel." Rachel looked at Skylar and said

"You have powers. Powers based on your emotions and when you sleep. You got those powers from me. Your dad wanted to put a dampening chip in you to protect you and to stop it from happening again. I said no. I guess our fight with you the other night triggered it again. When you're upset and angry you go to the past and you continue to go there when you sleep until you figure out how to help and fix whatever it is you need to fix, but when you're happy you go to the future, and when you sleep you will continue to go there until you figure out how to help, and when you're worried and scared for someone you end up right next to the person you're worried and scared about and it would feel very real because you would actually be there in the past or in the future and right next to that person." Skylar was shocked, and said

"What do you mean again? Has this happened to me before when I was a kid?" Sebastian looked at Skylar and said

"Yes it has happened to you before when you were a kid. When you were 10 to be exact. your mum was upset about something, you were on the other side of the room, you looked over at her and the next minute you were right next to your mum comforting and hugging her. It hadn't happened in a long time Skylar, we thought you grew out of your powers. you got them from your mum, but her dads put a dampening chip in her." Skylar was shocked even more, and he looked at both his parents and said

"And you kept this from me? All of this from me? How did you get your powers mum?" Rachel almost in tears and said

"I don't know, my dads and even Shelby never told me how I got them. and I found out i had the powers and the dampening chip inside my body when you were 10." Skylar was upset, stood up and said

"I can't be here right now." He then picked up his keys and left. Rachel then looked at Sebastian sadly and said

"See what hiding things from our son does. It drives him away further from us, and you should have told him about your super speed like the flash too instead of keeping quiet and blaming me that our son has powers, but unlike me you don't have a chip and you wanted our son to have one just like me, his powers may be exactly like mine, but it doesn't mean you shove our son's powers aside just for yours to shine, sooner or later with him going to the past at the moment he's going to find out about your super speed and being Ohio's own flash and superhero. Just remember that keeping secrets and lying to each other is the reason we broke up in the past and is what hurt us, don't let secrets hurt our family, we promised no more secrets after Skylar found out about his powers, it's time he knew about you because thanks to his powers sooner or later he's going to find out about them." Rachel then stood up and walked to the kitchen and started to worry for her son, and unborn baby that Sebastian didn't know yet especially if like Skylar the baby gets the power too. At times like this Rachel wished she didn't have the dampening chip in her, as she would be able to pin point where her son is and if he was actually okay.

Skylar drove to Dalton, but as he walked in he was yet again in the past and it was his dad's this time, and it was just after what Hunter made them do it was also a year after Skylar was born and a year after Clay was born through one of his uncle Thad's many one night stands. Skylar knew his dad wasn't ever part of what Hunter did and was never in on Hunter's plan about it. but he saw his dad's friends except his uncle Thad shun him. He followed his dad to the warbler room, and saw that his mum and him as a baby were waiting for Sebastian to arrive. 

Skylar watched in the distance. Skylar knew that one point their parents broke up when he was a baby but did eventually get back together thanks to his uncle Thad, uncle Trent and Uncle Blaine. Skylar wondered if this was when his parents broke up briefly. As Skylar watched on from the door, he started to remember what his mum had said, that he kept going back to the past and could only stop when he figures out how to help and fix something. He started to ponder if its something to do with his parents or their past that he has to fix or help.

Skylar was then brought back to the present, and walked to his dorm where he found Clay with Spencer making out on Clay's bed. Skylar cleared his throat and smirked while speaking

"So neither of you made it to Warbler practice uh?" Clay and Spencer pulled apart and blushed and Spencer said

"No we didn't." Spencer then stood up, and said

"I'll leave you to it." Spencer then walked out and Skylar looked at Clay as Spencer left the dorm and said

"Does your dad know yet?" Clay shook his head and said

"No he doesn't know yet." Skylar sat on his bed and said

"Just grateful it wasn't on my bed otherwise I'd be going to Crawford to have Marley in my arms at night, your secret is safe with me Clay, and I have a lot to tell you. I went to see my parents to find out about their past and talk to them, but something else happened and I found out something about me too, that Marley can't know yet." Clay looked at him and asked

"What is it? and thanks for keeping Spence and I a secret and I promise I will keep this from Marley and Spencer too" Skylar looked at him and replied

"Thanks, and I shit you not, something crazy, and I didn't think that it was all possible and I think your back to the future or flash 100th episode theory isn't impossible after all Clay."
