Location - Skylands - Ancients Peak

upon landing back down at the peak, Flynn and everyone else got out of the balloon so that Flynn can get to work here. Drobot also joined in just to be of an assist to Flynn

Flynn stops and looks at the boys and Spyro and a few other Skylanders. "I can see you hit it off with Persephone earlier. Strange girl, that one seems to be...immune to my charms. Poor thing" Flynn spoke as he was talking again with his huge ego.

Everyone rolled their eyes at Flynn's comment. "Flynn could you please focus on upgrading your balloon please" twinight told the mabu.

Flynn who got the boy's message then focused. "Right right. It's gonna take some time to install this propeller so why don't you cool your jets, take a load off?" He suggested before he went back to work and Drobot walks over to the propeller with Flynn to work on it with him.

Twinight knew immediately that he had to talk to Hugo about what he knew about portal masters after thinking back to his hands glowing along with his brothers too.

Chario looks over at what is left of the core of light...nothing, but still looked at it with a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach.

"Something wrong bro?" Twinight asked his brother in worry.

Chario looked at his brother. "Hm, nothing. Just, looking over at this." Chario responds and points at the place where the core of light once was.

"Uh guys?" twinight spoke as he looks at the skylanders with them whirlwind, gill grunt, camo, zap and Spyro. "what was that area for?" the boy points at where the core once stood and the tone was immediately turned sad.

Spyro was the first to speak. "that's where the core of light use to stay at before it got destroyed by Kaos and his pet monster"

"What was the cores purpose?" Twinight asked.

"To protect Skylands from the darkness and push it away." Gill grunt explained.
Camo had his paw crunch into a fist. "Kaos will pay for destroying the core of light, and killing Eon!" Camo vowed!

"Who's eon?" Chario asked aloud.

"He use to be one of the greatest portal masters, seeking us skylanders so that we can protect the core of light." Whirlwind told them.

Twinight saw that Spyro was the most sad out of everyone "you ok Spyro?" The boy asked the dragon.

"y-yeah. It's just...without Eon, I don't know what to do. He's been with me and Cynder for so long, I thought of him as a father.....but now, he's gone......" Spyro responds and then after a second he started to tear up over the lost of Eon.

Twinight pulls the purple dragon into a hug. "there there buddy it's ok it's ok...." The boy comforts the dragon

Spyro hugged back as he sniffed. The other skylanders around felt bad for Spyro, Camo walked over to him and patted the purple dragon's back. "don't worry buddy, we'll find a way to win this battle against Kaos." Camo reassured him.

"Are you guys sure we can?" Spyro questioned still unsure.
"if I learned anything from Eon, I know we can. If we do, Eon would be proud of us." Camo assured the dragon and as he was talking Hugo approached the group.

"Hugo! Just mabu I wanted to see!" Twinight spoke.

"What is it twinight?" Hugo asked.

"Well I want to learn about portal master, I want to try to control my magic like they did as you told me. Could you teach me and Chario?" Twinight asked.

"Well I'm not so certain of that, but if master Eon were here, he would know for sure what to do about your magic." Hugo explain to twinight.

Drobot came over. "so some bad news and some good news. The bad news, the Propeller air balloon won't be finished until tomorrow, the good news is, we still have lots of time to train and be prepared to get back the eternal sources" Drobot explained to everyone.

"hmmm ok well that gives me and Chario time to try out spells if we can." Twinight says.

"and we can help you dudes out!" Zap told them supportively.

"yeah, how bad can you guys be?" Whirlwind agreed.

Later on, in the training hall...it was a massacre
"VERY BAD!!!!!" Chario yelled got bonked by two wooden machines! "VERY VERY BAD!!!!!" Chario yelled.
Twinight Chario are now struggling a whole lot in training as this was new to the two boys!

Twinight crawled to the group. "I don't think we're ready for this level yet...." He told them as he groans in pain.

"you're gonna need to rest, a lot....." Cynder says.
*BANG
"aaaaAAAAAA-!" Chario flew out of the training room and outside*
"Or even better, medics." Double trouble added as he ran out to help Chario.

Suddenly twinight hands glow again. "huh? He says confused. then he starts to float up into the air like no gravity! "Uh oh what's going on? Help!!!" The boy yells!

"Woah!" Hugo yelled
"Now that's new!" Flynn yelled did too

"Dont just stand there!!! HELP!!!" Twilight yelled at them!

"sheesh, don't worry, I gotcha." A voice spoke and a dragon that looked like Spyro came out of nowhere and lowered Twinight down.

"Spyro? Why did you dye your scales black?" Twinight asked.

"that's, not Spyro Twinight. He's instead a darker version of him." Cynder explained
"thank you Cynder" dark Spyro thanked the undead dragon

"so like a dark Spyro?" The human boy asked and Dark Spyro nods.
Chario was still on the ground in pain ".....Medic" Chario groans pain.

"oh yeah, hey Whirlwind? Do you mind?" Spyro asked the female dragon.
"not at all." Whirlwind replied to the purple dragon and she uses her powers to heal Twinight and Chario and get rid do the pain, bruises and scratches they had earlier.

"W-what was that!?" Chario asked whirlwind in shock!
"I just used some of my rainbow magic and healed you two up." Whirlwind explained
"...oh."

Suddenly rumble is heard and everyone got on the defensive until they saw it was twinights stomach rumbling.

"Heheh sorry" Twinight smiled as he says and then burst into laughter and everyone joined in.

".........what?" Chario said clearly confused.

"oh yeah, I forgot to mention my heavily factors have some random effects....." whirlwind added.

"YOU DRUGGED US WITH YOUR OWN MAGIC!?!?!??" Chario yelled clearly mad!

"DRUGGED!?!?! What is that?" She asked confused.

"I should slap the living wings out of you but I won't because I'm not allowed to do that." Chario said aloud

"Yeah but uhhh, so you got any food?" Twinight asks as he looks at Spyro and Cynder.

"Right this way." Cynder said as she lead the way to the cafe. in the cafe, there was tons of food for the two boys, all of it looks similar to that of earth's food.

"Ooooooh it looks sooooo good!!" Twinight says as his mouth waters.

"Im not even gonna question anything, anymore." Chario spoke aloud.

Twinight grabs a bunch of food and goes to sit down to eat!

"WOAH WOAH WOAH EASY ON THE FOOD BRO!!!!" Chario yells at his brother!

"I'm starving!" Twinight yells!

"So am I but you don't see me acting like that do you!?" Chario told his brother.

"Fine!" Twinight pouts and he put down a few food pieces.

"Thank you!" Chario replied.
"hey aren't you that kid that used a stick against a drow?" The mabu chef asked the boy.
"...how did you know about that?" Chario was at a loss for words that someone else knew about that.

"Yeah word traveled fast. including your stick attack too." Sunburn explained

"so that means-" Chario started to speak until a voice interrupted him.
"hey mom look! It's that kid who tries to use a stick to fight!" A kid told his mother!
"hehe yes it is, crazy kid, you're so smart. Let's not make eye contact. Bye!" The mom says as she took her son and ran away from Chario.
".......okay but you have to admit I-." Chario was starting to speak.
"Nope." The chef interrupted the boy before he could continue.

"but I-." Chario starts to speak but is interrupted.

"you suck!" A random Mabu yells.

"CAN ANYONE BESIDES THOSE BEAR CREATURES LET ME HAVE A MOMENT TO SAY SOMETHING!?!?" Chario yelled in anger.

The Mabu all gasp and got really offended by that comment.

"That guy made fun of us!" A Mabu civilian said

"get him!!!" A Mabu yells!
".....son of a-." Chario spoke.

WHACK!
a few hours later

Chario was getting healed by Whirlwind!

"what did you think was gonna happen?!" Twinight scolded his brother!

"just shut up bro! Just please! today's gone from bad to worse now and I hate it all!" Chario stopped his brother from speak further!

"Let's just go to bed" twinight spoke

"finally, something I can agree with you on." Chario says relieved.

"Where, are we supposed to sleep at?" The two boys simultaneously asked.

"here, let me take you two to where you'll be sleeping." Whirlwind offered the boys.

Later on that night, the two brothers got themselves ready for bed, but were still deeply confused...but Chario on the other hand, he was scared...afraid, terrified.

"Chario what's wrong?" Twinight asked his brother in worry.

Chario sighs. "I.....I'm just, scared bro....too scared...." Chario started speaking and he started to slowly tear up and sniff. "w-we'll never find a way back home.......w-we're stuck here for who knows how long. Our parents...we'll never see them again...and...I-I don't know what to do anymore bro....." he explained to his brother as starts to silently sob into his hands as he covered his eyes with them.

"Hey hey hey it's ok." twinight says to comfort his brother as he rubs his back. "I miss them too, but everything will be ok as long as we're together ok" twinight added.

Chario sniffed as he looked over at Twinight. "a-are you sure?" He asked as he still had tears in his eyes.

"We're brothers. We stick together no matter where we go or how hard things may be." Twinight responds as he smiles.

Chario looked down again before closing his eyes and hugging Twinight tightly, letting some tears drop onto the back of his shirt, but Twinight didn't mind that at all

"We're gonna get home I promise you...." Twinight promised his brother.

But while that was happening, two of the skylanders heard the two boys speaking about home and such, it was Spyro and Camo from outside Spyro and Camo looked over at each other feeling terrible.

"We need to do something about this man." Camo whispered to Spyro.

"I know I know. There has to be a way to fix this.....and I think the only way is by gathering all of the eternal sources and defeating Kaos.....but I don't know if that'll work....." Spyro whispers back and explains.

"Well we have to try, for our new friends, the portal masters, Twinight and Chario." Camo whispers back.

"Right, now let's get some sleep. We got a big day tomorrow." Spyro whispered his response.

"Right." Camo whispered back and the two dragons went to bed.

The next day arrived, everyone had breakfast and the two brothers walked over to the skylanders who were chosen, the 4 air skylanders Lightning Rod, Sonic Boom, Warnado and Whirlwind.

"FINALLY!!! An awesome balloon for an EVEN MORE awesome Pilot!! BOOM!!!!!!" Flynn boasts!

"This bad boy's got a fuel injected croc-a-gator, a vacuum seal-a-tron and a jet-steamed thrust capacitor!" Drobot explained the features!

"..........Okay. Excuse my language, but HOW, THE HELL, IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!?!?!?!?" Chario yelled in confusion!

"It's what happens when you work with a pilot that is SO GOOD!!! He did it all by himself! Even had a few parts left over!" Flynn boasted again and Drobot rolled his eyes.

"Well no time like the present let's go-!" the boy started to say until he was grabbed by a certain dragon!

"Wait, it's best if you boys stay behind. We'll take care of the air source from here, believe me." Whirlwind explained.

"Finally!! A Pegasus hybrid with a horn who gets it!!" Chario says.
"I'm a dragon actually." Whirlwind corrected the boy
"..........WHA-!" Chario starts to speak before being interrupted by an angry brother!

"Grrr!! No fair!" Twinight says in anger and he plops to the ground in annoyance!

"Bro, I was gonna say something." Chario said aloud.

"It's for your own good Twinight." Warnado explained but the human boy was still mad.

"Hey, staying here isn't that bad Twinight, it could've be a lot worse if you went with them." Camo reassured the boy

"And don't worry we'll be back before you can say tornado!" Sonic boom assured the boy.

"Literally!" Warnado yells he turns into a tornado to show off one of his abilities

"PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF" chario laughs as he falls on the ground laughing more.

However, as the air skylanders got on, Twinight snuck himself and Chario it into the balloon once again, this time choosing a better hiding spot than before.

"Let's now see what this baby can do!" Flynn shouts and he flies the balloon all the way over to the location of the eternal air source!

Soon they arrived but first the skylanders heard some noise.

"You heard that right?" Sonic boom asks warnado.

"Yeah, it's coming form this balloon and I don't know-." Warnado was interrupted by two people falling down from above the balloon and surprised the skylanders and even Flynn

"WOWZERS!! PIRATES!!!" Flynn yells!

"Uhhhhhhhhhhhh? pizza delivery?" Twinight spoke aloud in embarrassment.

"YOU TWO!?!?" Flynn and the air Skylanders all yelled!

"......hi....." Chario said aloud.

"What are you two doing here again!?!?! I told you that me and the other air skylanders can handle this!!!" Whirlwind scolded them

"And we're your portal masters! I don't know one thing about being a portal master but I'm very sure sitting on the sidelines while your friends are in potential danger isn't one of them!" Twinight responded back!

"I, don't have any words here so.....I'll have to agree." Chario just said.

"But you don't know what's gonna be out there!! You could be killed!! I'm trying to keep you safe!!" Whirlwind yells back.

"I don't care what the dangers are, I wanna help save skyland's so if it means putting my life on the line then I will do that to do what's right!" Twinight spoke bravely.

Whirlwind knew that Twinight was naive, but also knew how brave Twinight was and smiles. "Heh, I like your attitude kid. Alright, you can come. But just make sure to stay close." Whirlwind says.

"Yes ma'am!" Twinight responded

"But whirlwind-!" Sonic boom starts to say but she was interrupted by whirlwind.

"Don't worry Sonic Boom, we'll be here for their protection." Whirlwind assured the griffin and the griffin thought for a moment but then nodded at the dragon Pegasus hybrid.
Soon the heroes arrived at the location and saw the giant twister! Flynn saw the giant Twister with everyone else. "WOWZERS NOW THATS A TWISTER!!! And it's ripping the castle to pieces! It's almost as impressive as me, almost. Looks like the little Drow-dudes found the Eternal Air Source whatsamadingus and now they're trying to harness its power...I guess!" Flynn speaks as he lands the balloon.

"Well then our job is to do everything in our power to stop that from happening!!" Twinight speaks.

"but we better be careful as well because there's drow everywhere!" Warnado spoke.
Flynn saw something. "well now look there." He said as he points.

"What is it Flynn?" Twilight asked the pilot.

"Some kinda bridge. 'Course right now it's just a bug bunch of giant swirling chunky things stuck in the vortex of a killer tornado." Flynn explains to everyone and Chario in turn gulps

"But hey! All you gotta do is figure out how to rebuild it. CAKE!!!!" Flynn explains then yelled at the end.

"You know for once flynn that might be the best idea you've said so far...." Twilight admitted.

"But how are we supposed to build it if we don't have any tools with us?" Chario asked.

"We figure it out as we go! Now cmon we have to move!" Twinight responded to his brother and then gets off the balloon and runs towards the danger!

"Bro wait up!!!" Chario yells and ran after him!

"Hehe, we've only known him for a day and he's all excited for this." Whirlwind giggled as she told the other skylanders.

"well that's kids for ya Whirlwind." Warnado replied to her.

"yeah." Whirlwind said as she nods.

"Good thing I don't have to suffer with kids....right?" Sonic Boom commented.
After an awkward moment....

"Ummmmmmm.....let's go." Warnado spoke.

"Yeah Spyro and camo would kill us if those two died on our watch." Lightning rod says and he goes after the boys. and so they quickly got a move on until they found some kind of screw with lightning coming out of it!

"What are the odds that things feeding power to the twister?" Twinight asked aloud.

Chario shrugs off his shoulders "but how do we handle this?" He asked the obvious question.

Lightning Rod cracks his neck and hands as he floats over. "simple my friends, if you are strong like me and my people then grab on to the Lightning Pylon." Lightning rod says as He grabs it with one hand. "and lower it down like this." He then explains and uses all of his might to swing the Lightning Pylon down!
Surprisingly to the two brothers, it actually works as the lightning pylon stops and drops a piece of a castle, making it fall down to the ground.

".....I have no words for what just happened." Twinight says dumbfounded.

Charios jaw dropped.

"That's power of cloud people for ya. And no I am not bragging, I'm just making a statement." Lightning rod spoke proudly.
Warnado jokingly whispers. "yeah he's bragging." Warnado whispers.
"I heard that." Lightning rod told the skylander
"Hehe, let's get going everyone, there's still a lot more we need to do." Whirlwind spoke.

"Yeah right let's go-....wait where's twinight?" Sonic boom starts to say before she notices Twinight is missing.

Chario looks to see him gone. "OH FOR THE LOVE OF-!"

Meanwhile with Twinight, he was quickly in a rush to get to the other Lightning Pylon!

Twinight was determined as he ran with his lance in hand and he saw drow up ahead and he smiled.

Drow 3 was guarding while two others talked about their lances. "No no, that's my spear-" Drow 1 was speaking but got cut off as he got sliced by Twinight and surprise attacked!
"WHAT IN THE!?!" Drow 2 & 3 Yelled in shock!

Twinight lands in front of drow with his lance behind him as he was looking like some ninja warrior. "And I thought you drow were conquerors." The boy taunts the drow.

"HUH!?!" Drow 2 turns around to see Twinight behind him.

"Surprise." Twinight says and then he punched the drow in the face!

"HEY!!!! WHAT ARE YOU-!" Drow 3 starts to say until then out of nowhere's yell is heard
"AAAAIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE!!!!"

The drow falls over unconscious and then twinight looks to see who hit the drow and it was Chario!

Chario breathed heavily while holding the lance the opposite way, looking at Twinight. "WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU!?!?!" He then yelled at his brother!

Twinight felt guilty. "sorry bro I just wanted to help the Skylanders but I shouldn't have ran off like that without telling you or the others....I'm sorry." Twinight says to his brother.

Chario sighs. "it's fine but next time stay with the skylanders and let them do their job ok?"

"Yeah but you and I both know that this is our chance to be more than just two kids from a lowly state in America....we can be heroes!" Twinight try's to convince his brother.

"..................you need help." Chario replied.
"Cmon! We have to go!" Whirlwind yells as she dashes past them with the other air skylanders with her!

"Talk after the mission?" Twinight asked his brother.

"Talk after the mission, or after all of this is even over" Chario replied to his brother and they ran after the Skylanders. And so after some time of lowering the lightning pylons, they finally got the castle repaired and headed there immediately, fighting through dozens of enemies only to find one thing of intense wind power....the first, eternal source!

"Is that.....the eternal air source?" Twinight asked as he looked at the eternal source in wonder.

"It is! Hurry, let's get it and return it back to the core!" Whirlwind yelled as she flies up to it to try to grab it. but the air source suddenly did something unexpected, it sends whirlwind back away from it like it rejected her!

"Huh?" She says confused and flew over and tries to grab it again but the source was unstable for the her so Lightning Rod try's to grab it but same result, Warnado try's but got the same result and finally Sonic Boom tried but she got the same result. It was at this point the Skylanders started to panic!

"How are we supposed to rebuild the core if we can't get the eternal source!?" Sonic Boom yells as she was freaking out!

"I don't know!!! What's wrong with that thing!?! Is it broken!?!?" Warnado panicked as well!

As they panicked twinight felt a connection to the eternal source as well as his brother and they both approached it. Whirlwind was panicking with Sonic Boom and Warnado while Lightning Rod was the only one who saw this was happening as both brothers were walking over to the air source.

Lightning rods eyes widened as he saw that the eternal source was responding to them! "Uhhh guys?" He says to the other Skylanders to get their attention.

"WHAT LIGHTNING ROD!?!?" The other three Skylanders yelled at lightning rod but then they saw the two brothers walking up to the air source and eyes widened as well!

Twinight reached out his hand to the eternal air source and it glows as it floats in between him and his brother as if it recognizes them or something!

"Woah!" Chario and twinight both say simultaneously.
The Air Skylanders are all amazed by this incredible thing, until Whirlwind realizes something.

"Wait, maybe the air source is stable because you two, are portal masters and the sources only reacts to portal masters only...." Whirlwind speaks aloud.

"You know whirlwind you might be right...." Sonic Boom adds on.

"Is that so?" Chario asks as he was still in shock.

"It has to be the only reason why it was unstable when Whirlwind tried to grab it so..." warnado adds on.

"Well regardless we have the source so let's get it back to ancients peak and to the core where it belongs!" Twinight told everyone as he wanted to get back to the main goal at hand!

Chario nods along with the skylanders. the air source then lifted everyone up and flew them all the way back to the ruins of Ancients Peak where the core of light is going to be rebuilt at.

Back at the ruins of Ancients Peak, the heroes landed down as the air source flew over and fell into the ground, creating a tornado that was good, summoning down some ancient machines on rocks!

The Ancient Machines landed and stomps their feet on one side to the other and looked up at plain up nothing.

"Huh....thats, interesting" Chario says.

"That was.....SOOO COOL!!!" Twinight was in awe of what just happened as he yelled in excitement!

But then, the ancient machines also did something else....they released a gust of light creating something, or maybe even.....someone. The light was creating someone with a beard, a helmet, and wisdom. The light then shined and revealed who they have created......
The newcomer opened his eyes and looks down at the portal masters smiling.
The brothers just stood there in shock with all of the skylanders! "C-C-Can it be!?!?" Spyro asked in hope and all the Skylanders hoped too!
"Greetings Portal masters." The newcomer spoke confirming his identity. It was master eon!
