First day

Now it was Monday, meaning everyone would be starting classes now. Spyro, Gill grunt, Trigger happy, and Flameslinger all looked over their schedules for their homeroom classes as they stood in a vast hallway, cadets and teachers passing by on their way to class.

"It looks like you and I have the same homeroom," Spyro said pointing to Flameslinger's schedule, "what about you guys?" "I have to head to someone named Thump-back," said Gill grunt, "sounds like a water type to me." "I get to see someone called Lunaria!" Said Trigger happy, "hope she likes bright shiny things!" "What about you guys?" Gill asked. "Apparently our homeroom teacher is Tree-rex," said Spyro, " he's really wise." "He sounds huge," said Gill, "but we better get going, see ya later guys." The four nodded, Gill and Trigger going down separate halls to their classes while Spyro and Flameslinger walked down another together.

When the two walked into the room, it smelled of pine and oak, not to mention it resembled a huge greenhouse of sorts. The board was massive, with chalk the size of stumpy baseball bats. Over thirty desks gathered together in front of it, trees and plants all throughout the rest of the room. A humongous glass door on the far wall behind the gigantic teacher's desk could be seen clearly.

"Who would need a door that big?" Flameslinger asked. "A giant," said Spyro, they were literally the first heroes to ever join together as Skylanders, and it was Eon who suggested recruiting new heroes such as us," Spyro explained, "they have their own facilities, but they at least have special classrooms like this one since they can't fit in the main building."

"Hey guys!" Stealth elf shouted, Cynder following behind. "You two have Tree-rex too?" Spyro asked, "you'll really like him, he's respectful of everyone, as long as you show respect yourselves." "That's why I'm glad to be having his class again," said another voice. It belonged to an eagle boy, who wore blue and silver armor, he didn't really have wings, but he didn't really care. He seemed to walk in a single pace, sitting at his desk with a binder so organized, a secretary would get jealous. He sat there staring at the board, despite it still being empty. Before the group could question him, the other students began filing inside and claiming seats.

After the bell finally rang, the chattering stopped as the giant door opened and a collosal ent walked inside, his footsteps booming as he towered over his class. One of his arms was red and spiky, moss covering his lower half like pants and big wooden horns decorated him, his glowing blue eyes looking down at everyone.

"Class, my name is Tree-rex," he said, "you can call me "sir" or "professor" if you like, though I don't mind if you decide to keep it casual," he said, his voice booming a bit, but not in a menacing way, "Heck, just call me "Rex" if you want, just don't call me a nickname I don't really like, and try to keep one nickname at a time please."

Before he could finish, everyone heard a window open as a blue skinned buff guy in a cloud floated down into his seat, paying the glare he was receiving from the teacher no mind. "You're late," Tree-rex said bluntly. "Yeah, whatever teach, let's just get done with this," he replied. "You know, Lightning rod, you should have flunked last year, yet here you are, just keep in mind that Eon isn't going to give you a second chance after this." The Storm giant only yawned, earning a scoff from the teacher. "I wonder how Nin-genie was able to deal with him..." He mumbled under his breath, at a level only Flameslinger could hear.

Tree-rex soon pulled out a list to call names. He was about halfway down the list, when he stopped at an "interesting" name.

"Flameslinger?" He asked, the archer slowly raising his hand. "There's something I thought I'd never see," he said, a smile on his wooden face, "I guess a purple dragon isn't the only rare being I've seen."

Flameslinger hid his face as everyone stared at him, Lightning rod almost giving him an odd stare. This was definitely going to take getting used to.
