Ch3 getting used to people

(Stealth elf's point of view)
The sun slowly rose over the horizon as sheep began to graze. Stealth elf got up out of bed. Most of her life, she was always sleeping on a cot, while the bed was way more comfortable than the cot, she was naturally an early riser. She leapt acrobatically out of bed and into a nearby chair and tied her blue hair into a long braided pony tail that came down to her knees. She grabbed her supply satchel and headed for the door to her dorm. She made her way to the cafeteria for some breakfast, as a group of cadets walked in front of her, she quickly turned invisible and quickly made her way to the cafeteria. She wasn't comfortable being around so many people.

After waiting in line for what seemed like hours, she finally went to find a table off to the side and away from everybody else. But her peaceful solitude didn't last long, as two dragons came to her table and gently set their trays in two of the seats across from her. One was a female who she didn't recognize, but she definitely knew the other one. She knew his name was Spyro, and he was trying to annoy her all day yesterday. "Hey, Stealth elf, I wanted you to meet Cynder", he said pointing to the female dragon sitting beside him.

*Great*, she thought, *what does he want this time?* Stealth elf glared at Spyro for a bit, when he noticed, he said, " okay, maybe we got off on the wrong foot yesterday, sorry about that." "Why do you keep following me?", Stealth elf asked. "I just wanted to try and befriend you, not having friends in this school isn't really that interesting", he replied. "Look, Spyro", said Stealth elf, "I'm not used to having friends, so I'm not sure if I'm interested." "Ok, me and Spyro will give you some time to think", said Cynder politely, "we just thought you looked a little lonely."

As Spyro and Cynder made their way to a new table, Stealth elf began to think things over. She had been quite lonely her entire life, her parents disappeared when she was 6, and even though she was taken in by a tree creature, he focused more on training her in the ways of Stealth fighting more than he did helping her socialize. She kept the thought as she completed her school work throughout the day, at least Spyro and Cynder were true to their word and not bugging her for an answer.

As the next day began and she woke up that morning, she had finally made her decision. This time in the cafeteria instead of going to sit by herself, she went to find Spyro and Cynder. They both had a slightly surprised look as she sat beside Cynder. "I guess I'll give this 'friend' thing a try", she said, "but forgive me for any mistakes, because I've never had any friends before." Spyro gave a nod of agreement as they began to make small talk. As they walked out of the cafeteria, Stealth elf, smirked a bit under her mask.
