(AN: this takes place in between episodes 10 and 11. Crash bandicoot has yet to show up  but this is before the evil scope nearly destroys Skylands).

It was quiet around the academy that was largely Due to Spyro and the evil scope which were stopping all the villains before they could do anything bad. 

So stealth elf and the others found themselves with a lot of free time on their hands so therefore stealth elf decided to pursue an investigation she had decided to put on hold for the last few months and that was her investigation into the guardians.

The only clues she had related to the Guardians were some old legends and artifacts she had seen in museums all over sky lands. However she had developed a better understanding though of the Guardians. She knew that they operated from a place called the Hall of Guardians and were responsible for assisting the ancients in creating the core of light a fact that even eon was surprise to learn about after she had found some hidden texts in the falling forest.

The other thing she knew was the fact that the Guardians were connected with all of Skylands and with the army of the protectors they would be Skylands first line of defense in case of darkness invading Skylands.

There was just one fact that puzzled stealth elf the guardians were supposed to watch over the evil that was within Skylands while true they were only supposed to interfere if the threat was big enough so something like greebles or minor crime was not their concern and  if they were supposed to watch over all the threats in Skylands How could one capable of destroying nearly all the Guardians be capable of arising without them knowing. 

She Knew they weren't extinct either because throughout the last 7 months of graduation there had been a few incidents that did not make sense.

One was when they were frozen eon had made it clear a spell of that power using teh book as it's source was nearly impossible to stop but they were already thawing out before Spyro even melted the ice on the book.

two was Chef peperjack's chilli spice. It was supposed to keep the Skylanders basically incapacitated for at least 2 weeks but it had only lasted an hour.

Three: was the fact that they kept getting intel about the doom raiders after they escaped However eon had no idea where these tips were coming from. 

Stealth elf decided that her best bet for answers was the magic Library of the Skylands However she would need eons permission to go there.

Arriving a eons office Via teleporting she accidently interrupted eon who was in the middle of trimming his beard. 

"AH Stealth elf I've told you all dozens of times please knock before entering."

"Sorry Master eon I just had a request."

Eon then gestured for her to go on his scissors still in his hand.

"I wanted permission from you to go to the Magic Library of the Skylands."

"and why do you want to go there." Eon replied stroking his beard.

"I want to find out more about the Guardians." stealth elf replied her voice filled with determination.

"Very well you may go. I hope you find teh answers you seek Skylander." Eon replied gently a self smiled.

rushing outside she hopped into her supercharger and set a course for the Library.

(Kaos castle).

A Book flew past glumshanks head as he entered the plotting chamber. 

"I see your busy master so I'll come back later." Glumshanks replied annoyed.

"Nope I need you to hand me that scroll on the shelf Glummy." Kaos replied from the desk his head buried in a book.

"May I inquire as to why your suddenly interested in reading." Glumshanks dead panned while handing the scroll to Kaos.

"I'm trying to figure out why the Golden queens plans keep failing." Kaos then proceeded to list off the recent failures to glum shanks. 

"Ah another plan to get into the doom raiders sir win the favor of the queen by finding the spy who keeps ratting out the Doom raiders plans."

"In a way yes However I don't think a spy is responsible for foiling My queens genius plans simply because me the queen or mother would find him or her in a heart beat if they tried to communicate with the Skylanders." 

Glumshanks was surprised since he'd never believed Kaos ever thought out any of his plans. But this investigation and theory seemed very logical.

"I see sir."

"Good now go get me a Churro."

Stealth elf was livid she had read over 100 books and she had learned nothing new that she did not already know. 

Slamming another Book shut She was about to give up until she saw a small book that caught her eye due to it's age.

'The Diary of Virion Guildmate the last Guardian.' 

Elf was ecstatic this was exactly what she was looking for. 

After reading the early entries the final entry caught her eye.

'I warned my compatriots that allowing that expedition to the outlands would back fire but the grand master would not heed my warning and now I'm the last guardian however I know what I must do. I must shut down the protector army before they corrupt them too much and I must relocate the Hall of guardians as well with any luck the Skylanders will be able to protect the lands without us.' Signed Virion The last Guardian.

Stealth elf closed the diary and sat in silence for the space of 20 minutes pondering over what she Just read.

'so It was that expedition that destroyed the Guardians however I still don't know why it did. Hopefully eon will have some more input after I show him this.' 

(Hall of Guardians). 2 weeks later

"WARNING WARNING THE SKYALNDS ARE BEING DESTORYED MAGIC PROTECTION DOWN TO 40%."

"REBOOT THE SYSTEMS AND ACTIVATE THE COUNTE RMEASURES." the women ordered typing furiously on a key board.

"NEGATIVE MASTER ALL SYSTEMS ARE BEING CORRUPTED BY THE MASS GATHERING OF EVIL IN SKYLANDS."

"THEN REBOOT THE WHOLE SYSTEM US ETEH BACKUP GENERATORS."

"OVERIDE CODE REQUIRED."

"OVERIDE DIRECTIVE ZEYA."

"REBOT SEQUENCE STARTED ESTIAMTED TIEM TILL COMPLETION 5 HOURS."

'Hurry Skylanders.' The women thought aloud while trying to furiously contain the damage being done.

AN: Now teh story gets rolling sorry for the long pause in-between the last update I've been busy but I hope you all still enjoy this story.
