Welcome, everyone, to the unofficial beginning of SKYFALL, A_Demigod_Community's first ever applyfic. Whether you've been eagerly awaiting your OC's cast assignment or if you've just stumbled upon this today, we're so thankful you're here!

Ownership Disclaimers!

We want to first begin by stating that of course, A_Demigod_Community does not own Percy Jackson or its canon characters.

We also do not own the OCs featured in this book; some of them belong to members of our leadership team, and others belong to their creators. Anyone who has an OC featured in this applyfic is credited in the cast chapters.

The stories in this book are a collaborative effort between members of our leadership team, including authors, editors, and beta readers, but ultimately, the stories showcased on this account are the intellectual property of their authors (Saf, Red, Storm, and Cyan).

Applyfic/OC Disclaimers!

We first want to clarify that while the goal is to publish a chapter of the applyfic each week, each individual story within the anthology is only scheduled to update once a month, and the timeline may be adjusted at the need of the authors or the community leadership.  This may be a slow process, but we fully intend to have a completed applyfic.

Authors' interpretations of the OCs submitted are based solely on the forms provided by the creators. Authors cannot be held responsible if the way an OC is portrayed does not entirely match the vision in the creator's imagination. As cool as it would be, authors aren't mind readers; they are exclusively using the form.

Additionally, authors were granted permission to take creative liberties with OCs whose forms were missing information or lacked detail.

Ultimately, we welcome any and all reactions to the stories, but please keep your comments respectful to the creators who worked very hard to make their OCs, as well as the authors who are working hard to write these stories.

A_Demigod Community Wants to Thank...

Our community founder, Rose, who has spearheaded this project. SKYFALL is her brain baby, and she has worked tirelessly to make it happen, whether that be through reviewing OC forms, answering questions, coordinating and selecting authors, and even adjusting the schedule. Rose also created the banners you'll see within this book. SKYFALL would not be possible without Rose, and we want to give her a huge thank-you for making this happen.

Our graphic designer, Neri, who has been working on SKYFALL character aesthetics since forms opened up earlier this summer. Neri has been reading everyone's forms and bringing the characters to life through graphics, which isn't always easy! If you haven't given Neri a follow, please take some time to do so!

Our amazing authors, Saf, Red, Cyan, and Storm, who truly bring this project to life. SKYFALL wouldn't have been possible without their creative inspiration and guts to take on this project. They have read through every form and continue to bring your characters to life one chapter at a time. If you haven't given them a follow, please take some time to do so!

Updating Schedule!

SKYFALL chapters will be released weekly on a rotating basis. The story your character is featured in will be updated once a month, but we encourage you to support the other authors and creators.

The first chapter is estimated to arrive on September 19th, and chapters will be published weekly on Fridays until the end of February. Again, the community leadership team reserves the right to adjust this schedule as needed.

Meet the Team!

ROSE, NoSaneHumanAllowed (she/her)
Rose joined Wattpad during the height of the COVID pandemic and decided to stay for the laughs. Although Rose hasn't published true fanfiction in a really long time, you can probably find her through the comments of your favorite Wattpad or AO3 fanfictions. Rose is somewhat of a multifandom gal; you can find her all around everywhere. When she isn't in her hidey hole, taking care of community things, you can find her kickboxing, grabbing coffee with friends, playing with her several pets, or reading. Rose was ecstatic to bring her brainchild, SKYFALL, to life and would with her amazing team. The fact that so many people were interested and signed up their loved OCs for her brainchild overwhelms her with happiness, so Rose would like to thank you for being a major part of this project as well. 

NERI, AsteriaThalassari (she/her)
Neri has been a part of the Percy Jackson fandom for years, and a fan of Greek Mythology and writing for as long as she can remember. She writes fanfiction all the time, and loves bringing characters to life via graphics and stories. You can find her fanfics on her profile, the most notable of which are I'll See You Again When I Escape and Ichor. With a special interest in internal conflict and cultural studies within her writing, she's developed a pretty distinct style and genre over the years. Most of her newer works are currently unpublished or one shots, but keep a look out for any exciting stories soon to be published. When she's not writing with her orange cat or falling down pjo rabbitholes, Neri can be found outside- hiking, playing with sharp things, and rock climbing. She loved working on this project with so many brilliant OCs, and is super excited for everyone. She'd like to give a shout out to anyone who submitted an OC, and especially her amazing fellow Skyfall committee.

SAF SBL223 (she/her)
Saf has had ideas for Percy Jackson related fanfictions stuck in her head for years, and until a year and a half ago she didn't know what to do with them. Once she found Wattpad she started writing and posting, even setting herself the goal of posting something/writing something every day for a year which she completed this past April. When Saf isn't writing, reading, or making her fellow senators laugh were her gods-awful jokes she loves spending time with her friends. Saf also loves playing field hockey, swimming, and skiing(she's only good at one of those sports, see if you can guess which one) as well as spending time outside, though she doesn't do it as often as she would like. If you guessed field hockey you would be correct. Saf would love it if you spent some time reading some of her other fanfiction, she is proudest of her most recent work that she is still writing, Pipabeth AU Thing (she has not come up with a better title yet). She would like to take a moment to thank the SkyFall team for all they do and have done, Rose, Neri, and Red front and center in that thanks.

RED, TheRedSourPatchKid (she/her)
Red has been publishing Percy Jackson fanfictions on Wattpad and AO3 since fall 2021, but has been writing for way longer. You may know Red from her most popular PJO fanfiction story, Spider Bites or from her PJO sitcom AU, Your Chariot Awaits. When Red isn't writing fanfiction, she enjoys reading, hiking with her German Shepherd, taking her German Shepherd to the drive-thru, swimming with her German Shepherd, giving her German Shepherd shoulder massages, and watching her German Shepherd's favorite television series. Lately, she has been branching out and dabbling in Arcane fanfiction, which she is super excited to publish in the next few months. Red is super excited for SKYFALL to be her first experience writing an applyfic, and she wants to thank the other members of the SKYFALL team for their efforts in this project as well as her German Shepherd for being a cutie patootie. This bio was definitely not written by Red's German Shepherd.  

STORM, -dxvid-kushnxr- (she/they/he)
Storm is a long time member of the Demigod Community Senate and has been writing fanfiction on Wattpad for some time now.  An ex-criminal now on her third account, they love Vi from Arcane. You may know Storm from their most popular work, Tides and Time, or from one of her most recent popular works, Zaun.  She could do literally anyrhing in the whole world, but all she does is plot in her drafts about a new book which would never be published. Not counting her current, published books, he has a total of 47 Riordanverse related drafts under construction. Storm dabbles in both the PJO and Arcane  fanfictions, and is probably (not) a Labubu enthusiast.  Storm is super excited to be writing for Skyfall, and is super grateful for the rest of the crew who make this happen.

CYAN, PerseusJSonOfSea (he/him)
Cyan has been lurking in the Percy Jackson fandom for years. You may know Cyan from his recent comedy fanfic 'The Unlicensed Therapist of Olympus'. Cyan is a fan of good books, good music and good food. Cyan is currently immersed in Ali Hazelwood's novels and Arcane fanfics. When Cyan isn't glued to the screen, he's either studying or going on long walks to clear his head. He also enjoys swimming. Lately, he's been hopelessly addicted to reading and writing Caitvi fanfiction. SKYFALL marks Cyan's first ever Applyfic. Cyan is thrilled to work with the SKYFALL team and bring so many amazing OCs to life.
