INT. SCHOOL LIBRARY – NEXT DAY

Skye sits at a computer writing on a legal pad. Sarah sits beside her.

SKYE

Okay. I think I have enough information to make my case to my parents. Pros of going to school in London: Exploring new cultures, visiting historical landmarks, and receiving the best education in the world. The only con I can think of is that I'll be giving up what could be my biggest chance of getting into Harvard.

SARAH

I have a con for you. Leaving behind your best friend who lets you borrow the cutest shoes.

SKYE

I'll admit, you make a valid point. However, I doubt Harvard will take my foot preferences into consideration. Otherwise, you would be a "shoe" in.

She cracks up. Chase enters holding something behind his back.

CHASE

That's weird. I can't believe you actually know how to make a joke, seeing as though you can't take one. I have a going away present for you.

He reveals a photo of Skye with her face and hands painted purple.

CHASE

(reminiscing) Food coloring in the faucet. You will always be my number one target.

Skye writes "Con" on a sticky note and sticks it on Chase's forehead.

SKYE

I rest my case. Now I just need to present it to my parents and hope they see things my way.

SARAH

Or not. (on Skye's look) I'm just looking at it from all angles.
