INT. TURNER LIVING ROOM - MOMENTS LATER

Firefighters exit the living room carrying out the burned and smoking stove. Logan watches them go.

LOGAN

I'm never making chicken noodle soup again.

Chase enters taking in the scene.

CHASE

So this is what happens when Skye misses a day of school.

LOGAN

I'm not in the mood for jokes right now, okay? I just burned up our kitchen and now Skye's out cold because I gave her the wrong remedy.

CHASE

Well, that's two careers you can safely cross off your list.

LOGAN

This is serious.  I'm the worse brother ever. The only reason I wanted to stay home was so I could catch up on that stupid zombie show.

CHASE

Zombinapped? Crazy how they all died in the end.

LOGAN

And now that's ruined too.

CHASE

Dude, give yourself a break. At least you're trying. I will be happy to help. Sarah and Maven are driving me insane.

LOGAN

They're at it again?

CHASE

Do they even like each other?
