INT. KING LIVING ROOM - LATER

Chasing is sitting on the sofa playing a video game. Sarah watches. She sighs... She sighs louder.

CHASE

Do you think you can do your breathing exercises someplace else?

SARAH

This is boring. I mean, it's not even realistic. Why waste—

Chase waits for the insult.

SARAH

Such good ammo on a pathetic alien.

There's a knock on the door. Chase answers it. Maven enters.

MAVEN

Yes! Bro night. I have been waiting for this—What's she doing here?

SARAH

I live here. Who's stupid now?

CHASE

I invited both of you because I thought it would help you blow off steam. And if this works, you'll make up and go back to forgetting I exist.

Chase and Maven sit. Chase hands out remotes.

SARAH

Why does he get the blue one?

MAVEN

Why does it matter?

CHASE

Here. Take the shiny one.

He switches with Sarah who's happy to take it.

MAVEN

The gold one does look pretty nice—

CHASE

And we're starting. The object of the game is to defeat the enemy alien soldiers.

Sarah shoots.

MAVEN

You just shot me.

CHASE

I said defeat the enemy soldiers.

SARAH

As far as I'm concerned, he is the enemy.

She shoots Maven again. 

MAVEN

Hey!

Maven starts shooting back.

CHASE

Not going the way I planned, but surprisingly entertaining.
