INT. TURNER LIVING ROOM - LATER

Skye lies on the couch miserable, while Logan watches his show. Skye's phone rings on the coffee table.

SKYE

Can you get that for me?

Logan is too immersed to hear her.

SKYE

Can you at least hand it to me?

Nothing. Seeing she's not getting through to him, she slowly sits up and reaches for her phone. After a struggle, she answers it and collapses back down.

SKYE

Hello?

SARAH (V.O)

Skye?...Is your house getting attacked by zombies?

SKYE

No, but my immune system is being attacked by the flu. I'm not coming to school today. Can you bring over my homework? And if it won't be too much trouble, video recordings of every class would be great.

SARAH

I'll send everything I can via email. Let's be honest. You're contagious and there's no way I'm going over there until the air is safe. Get well soon.

SKYE

Bye.

She reaches for her phone again.

TV ANNOUNCER

MALE ACTOR #1

(dramatic) They're already dead.

More screams and growls. Logan cringes. He notices Skye reaching for her phone.

LOGAN

I've got it.

He picks it up.

LOGAN (CONT'D)

Hello? Hello?

He ends the call and hands it to Skye.

LOGAN (CONT'D)

They hung up.

SKYE

Thanks.
