A day has passed since they were trapped in SVO. Leon and Yuki are still shocked by the fact that they are trapped in a death game. They are now in Arch Land.

“Yuki. Are you okay?" Leon asked, seeing Yuki lost in thought.

“Yes? Ah yes, I'm fine." Yuki was surprised by Leon.

“Yuki. It'll be alright. I will protect you. I know it's hard for you. You've been thrown into another death game, just after you've escaped one. Forget about the past and focus on the future." Leon tried to encourage her.

“Thanks, Leon-nii chan. I'm feeling better now. Let's go gain some levels. We need to be as high level as possible before we fight any of the Floor bosses." Yuki suggested.

“Sure. But before that, let's upgrade our equipment. We need better equipment if we are to grind on these monsters." Leon then headed for the weapons stall with Yuki behind him.

“Let's see. I'm level 5. Level 5 equipment.... Woah. 350zel for one long blade. Let's see the stats... Woah. My long blade has a higher attack stat than this one but for my other one it can't compare.... Alright! I'll buy it in exchange for my weaker long blade." Leon then sold his weaker long blade and bought the better long blade.

In the meantime, Yuki bought a new staff which has much better stats than the ones she had. She also bought some armour called Wizard's Cape which grants her bonus mana.

“Alright. Now we're ready. Let's go, Yuki."

“Wait. Before we go, let's read the list Kirito gave us. We might get good information to help us." Yuki then summoned the list from her messages. Leon did the same.

List of things you should know about VRMMORPGs
1. The building with the potion sign sells all the potions you find in the game. Rare potions you find can be traded for money here.
2. Weapons shop is the building with the sword sign. Upgrades to weapons can be done here.
3. Armour shop is the building with the chain vest. Upgrades to armour can be done here.
4. The building with the hammer sign is a place where you can also upgrade weapons.
5.NPCs like the one standing by the teleportation gate offer quests for you to do. Exp and zel can be earned by completing the quests. Some quests might earn you special weapons upon completion.
6. Teleportation Gate is the place to teleport to other levels but only those you have been to.
7. The inn, which looks like a hotel, is a place where you stay for the night. Inn room prices differ from inn to inn.
8. There are some empty buildings with a panel in front of them. They can be bought and that will permanently be your home even if you buy another house.
9. For Leon: I am surprised that you can use dual wielding at such a low level and you only just started playing today. Tips on dual wielding: Try to train up on speed. This is the virtual world so the more you swing, the better your speed gets amd naturally, your dual wielding will be up to shape.
10. For Yuki: You chose a great class. Leon, who is a great attacker, needs a supporter like you. Back in SAO, you were the kind who would stay behind and support. Do your best to support Leon, don't give up.
11. Flying is the thing which you need to know when you play this game. It can become a convenient ability to use when you are in a pinch or to get across impassable terrain by foot. Tip: Flex your wings when you have the time. Flexing them will help you control your flight easier.

“Kirito..... You..... Oh~~~!" Leon started to cry.

“Leon-nii chan.. Don't cry.... L-Let's both do our best to make Kirito proud...." Yuki then started to tear up.

“Thanks, Yuki. Let's go grinding." Leon then led Yuki and they left Arch Land for the Spring Hills, the area just outside Arch Land.

A glance at the area and they got a grasp of how tough the monsters are going to be.

“Lvl 5-6 Griffins. Lvl 7 Eagles. Lvl 8 Elves. I guess we will start with the Griffins. Yuki. Let's aim the Griffins. Kill all of them first then we will go for the eagles." Leon then drew his long sword.

“Leon-nii chan. Aren't you going to use dual wielding?" Yuki asked, getting ready her staff.

“Kirito started with single sword style too. I will only use dual wielding if the going gets tough. Now, let's go. I'll lure 5 of them here. Slow them with Ice Hold and I'll do the rest when they get closer." Leon then ran straight at two Griffins.

“*Glow* Horizontal!" Leon used a skill and it hit the two Griffins, attracting their attention. However, Leon's calculations were wrong. Griffins were not the only ones who were attracted. Eagles also started chasing after him.

“What the- Damn it. I miscalculated. Yuki! Cast an attack spell now!" Leon attempted to run but fell after a few steps. “Shit! They're going to get me!" Yuki's attack spells could not be casted in time.

“Battle Fury!" The Griffins and Eagles were wiped out in an instant. A figure stood in front of Leon and it had a huge blade, like Cloud from Final Fantasy. “Hey, Kurosan. You okay?" The figure asked Leon.

“How do you know my- !! You're...." Leon was shocked.
