Jason's pov

I paced my room waiting for Seto to give the ok to leave. Jerome, Mitch, and Quintion had came back a few hours ago to tell us Steve was in the Nether. Of corse, the last place I want to be, is where Steve is. Of corse Herobrine had to capture him. I sighed, why did I agree to this? How am I suppose to do it? How can I distract them for that long?

Seto walked in and I stopped. "Time to go, Skylar is waiting for us at the stables." He said walking out.

I followed him and watched as they mounted their horses. I mounted mine and we rode off to the Nether portal. I stayed in the back and thought about how I was gonna pull this off. If I screw this up, Herobrine will have my head. Well, at least I'll know that Sky's ok.

"Jason, are you even listening?" Seto asked.

"Wha- huh? Oh, yah I heard you."

"So you know the plan?"

"Yah." Well, I know my plan.

Skylar glanced at me and looked away. "Hey, Seto, why are we taking the horses anyway? It's not that far, we could get there in ten minutes on foot."

Seto smiled. "If we were as fast as you and your sister maybe, but we aren't. Pluse, knowing Herobrine, Steve's most likely in no condition to walk.

Skylar nodded and we rode on in silence. "There it is." She said as the glowing purple portal came into view. We dismounted the horses and tied them to a nearby tree. "Ready?"

Seto nodded and they jumped in. I followed after them. Notch, I hope they can forgive me...

Herobrine's pov

I sat straight up in my bed, gasping for air. My heart racing, after a moment or two it started to slow down, beads of sweat dripping down my face. It took me a moment to remember where I was and what was going on. I looked around the room and saw Jade standing in the doorway. "What do you want?" I hissed glaring at her.

She took a step back before speaking. "They're coming. The sorcerer, a recrute, and him, sir. I belive it's time to make our move." She shook with fear and didn't look directly at me.

I nodded. "Good. Jade, let the others know that we move out in a few minutes. You are dismissed." I said standing. She nodded and walked out, closing the door behind her. I sighed and walked to my window. I over looked my army waiting for my command. I watched as most of them shifted from foot to foot nervously. Sky leaned against the wall, his face expressionless, his eyes hungry for bloodshed. I smiled as I watched them all move into the shadows as the portal glew brightly. Three people walked through, they snuck to the castle. My turn. I teleported to the grounds and gave the command. They went silently to the portal as Jade, Sky and I teleported to the Butter Kingdom. A war was about to start, and I was going to be the victor.

Skylar's pov

We made it to the dungeon without too much trubble. We walked down the rows of cages and found them empty, with the occasional rotting corpse. Do we even need Steve? Wouldn't it just be easier to find the other copy of the book? I sighed and continued looking.

"Found him." Seto wispered to us standing by one of the cages.

I crept over next to him and saw Steve lying barely conscious on the ground. "No....please....Hero....please." He said weakly as I got closer.

"Hero? Why would you give him a nickname like that?" Jason asked as he stood next to Seto.

"He probably had that nickname before all of this. They are brothers you know." I replyed.

"We were brothers. Now he's a monster that can't be stopped." Steve said trying to sit up. He managed to lean on the wall and grab his side. He was bleeding from multiple places. Herobrine must have given him regeneration to keep him alive.

Seto looked at Steve. "We're gonna get you out of here. All we ask for in return is that you help us get our king back, and dystroy Herobrine." Steve nodded. "Good. Now we just need to find the key."

"I'll look." Jason volunteered.

I watched him leave. Something's off about him. He used to be so cheerful and caring. What happened? What did he do?

Something you would never have done.

Seto and Steve talked for a bit while we waited for Jason. I got board and started to play with some fireballs. Steve flinched as I tossed one up. "Sorry, I guess fire is a no go for ya, huh?" The fireball dissapeared, and in its place was a ball of light.

Steve stared in amazement. "Are you a hybrid?"

I looked at him. "Yah, why?"

"I was just wondering. Only hybrids can use light and dark magic. What hybrid are you?"

I looked away and continued to play with the ball of light. "I-I'm and Ender hybrid."

"Really? Cool, does that mean you can speak Endertongue?" He asked, he seemed to forget about the pain for a bit as he asked more and more questions.

"I can speak a little, my sister can speak a bit more than I can, but yah, I'm able to."

Steve went quiet for a moment. "What's your name?"

"Why are you asking so many questions about me? Why do you care? No one else does, no one but Sky cared. Why should you?" I snapped. Tears filled my eyes and my light went out.

"I ask because I do care. Everyone is different, everyone is special, just in our own way."

I stay quiet. Does he really care? "Skylar, my name is Skylar." I wiped my eyes and looked over at Jason who had just came back.

"I got the key, let's go."

Lilly's pov

I sat alone in the dinning hall, waiting for something to happen. Seto, Jason, and Skylar had left about twenty minutes ago. And everything was quiet. Everyone seemed to try to avoid me, nothing unusual their. I sighed, please hurry back. Than a thought crossed my mind. Hey, Skylar, have you found Steve yet?

Yah, he's really hurt. Herobrine did a number on him that's for sure.

Let's hope he ca- I stopped as the alarm went off. Skylar, somethings wrong, I'll talk to you later.

Lilly, Lilly what's going on?

I don't know. I ran outside and Unsheathed my sword. Most of the recrutes were already outside standing behind the remaining generals. They were staring wide eyed at something over Ty's shoulder. I looked closer and saw Herobrine, Sky, and another girl I had never seen. No! Not now.

Ty and the generals stood their ground as Herobrine walked closer. All the other recrutes shook. I pushed my way to the front. "What? Afraid that I might rip you're throats out? Tempting, but I don't have the time." Sky smerked and stared at me. I looked at him, his amulet was no longer glowing purple, now it was pure black. His budder eyes shown brightly and his obsidion sword was gripped tightly in his hand. He didn't even look like Sky anymore.

"We don't have time to play your games Herobrine." Ty said clenching his teeth.

Herobrine smerked. "Who said I was playing games? I came here to kill all who disobey me. I see no games here." He said his icy voice projecting throughout the castle.

"Well, it looks as if we're gonna have a war. WE WOULD NEVER FOLLOW YOU!"

Herobrine shook his head. "You're just as stubborn as he was. And look where that got him." He said pointing to Sky.

I growled and gripped my blade. My eyes flashed red and I glared at Herobrine. Their was silence until I broke it. "We will fight to our last breath. We will not give in to you, we are strong, we are the Skyarmy!" I heard cheers of agreement behind me. The generals nodded and got into battle position, I did the same. I was ready for a war, and we were gonna win, or we would die trying.

Herobrine glared at me. "Oh, would you look at that, a wanna be recrute standing up for the army who doesn't want her." He shook his head and his smile grew. "Isn't that touching? No matter how much pain they cause you, you still stand by their side and defend them."

I felt anger build in my chest. "It's better than surving a 'lord' Who doesn't care if they die, as long as he gets what he wants." I snapped back. The girl got angry and almost charged, but Herobrine stopped her.

"Do you think he cared? Do you think that for one second that he thought you were anything but an abandoned kid?"

I got really angry. "He still does."

Herobrine raised his hand above his head, "Wrong again." He pointed at us and his army charged.

Ty shouted a battle cry and we all ran into the biggest war of our lives. I ran into a horde of zombies and killed as many as I could. Some had armor and weapons. I took a few hits from them and kept going. After they were taken care of, I turned around to arrows in my face. I jumped back and dodged as many as I could, getting hit be a few. I groaned and swung my blade. I realized I was surrounded and fought on. Then half of them dropped to the ground.

"Need a hand kid?" Ty asked as he killed more skeletons.

I flashed him a smile and nodded. Ty and I fought together until I spotted Skylar, Seto, Jason, and Steve running to the castle. "Ty, their back. Steve's hurt." Ty nodded and we kept fighting. I looked around and saw more and more of the army fall. All the anger built up in my chest caused me to turn into my Ender form. I ran deeper into the fight and helped as many people fight as many mobs as I could. I looked around again and spotted Seto and Sky. Skylar was by Seto's side helping keep Sky at bay. I dodged some arrows and blades and spotted Jason by the wall, Herobrine towering over him. My eyes had turned red and I made my way to them.

Jason's sword was in the ground and he was bleeding. "Any last words?" Herobrine asked as he raised his sword to strike.

Jason shook in fear and shut his eyes, as Herobrine's blade came swinging down.

Hero: *mutters* You and your cliffhangers.

Come on Hero, I like a little suspense once and a while.

Hero: Yah, well did you have to do it as I was trying to kill him?

Ye.

Hero: Why? That's the best part.

*rolls eyes* Spoilers. If I told you than they wouldn't be surprised.

Hero: *frowns*.....

Fine...*wispers to Hero*

Hero: *smerks* Oh, ok. That seems fair.
