The plan
Jason's pov
I stood still and silent as Tyler's body was sent sail on the water. Once he was far enough away from the shore, someone shot a flaming arrow and set his boat aflame. Why do we even have viking funerals? I wondered as I watched the flames on Tyler's boat dace to life as the boat sailed into the distance. I looked around at everyone who attended, and spotted Lilly and Skylar leaning on a tree. Skylar was crying, and Lilly's face was expressionless. She swung her bow over her shoulder and watched as Tyler floated away. Why isn't she sad? Doesn't she care that one of the generals are dead? I looked around at the people eather crying or sadly watching their friend sail on a burning boat. As he sailed farther away, more people went back to the castle. I stayed until it was only me and Lilly left. I walked over to her and leaned against the tree.
"Have you ever watched someone die, and after a while you just feel nothing? It's like all my feelings have just disappeared. Like I can't feel anything anymore. No anger, no sadness, no fear, nothing. It's just, not their anymore." Lilly asked without taking her eyes off the boat.
I looked at her. "No, I can't say that I have." I replyed as I looked back at the boat that was just viable over the horizon. "I've seen people die, but I didn't get very mad at the killer, I got even. I never lost feeling, I just lost sight of my goals." The sun had almost risen above the lake. I walked twords the castle and left her to her thoughts. I don't trust Enders, I never had and I never will. They've killed to many people. I will never trust them, and I told Sky that. He ignored me and let them in. Now Tyler is dead, and the Ender didn't even try.
"Hey Jason!" Mitch said snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Huh, oh Mitch, what's up?" I asked shoving my hands into my pockets.
"The generals are having a meeting." He he started to walk away but stopped. "Oh, have you seen Lilly?"
"Yah, she's still by the lake, why?" I asked.
"Well, Seto wants the Enders to attend the meeting. Something about them being able to help."
I froze. Seto is actually trusting them? The Enders? Does he remember what they did? What they can do? I shook my head. "You can go get her. I want nothing to do with them."
Mitch looked at me for a moment before nodding and running to the lake. "Alright, I'll see you their!" He shouted over his shoulder.
I shook my head and walked to the meeting room. Seto, Jerome, Skylar, Ian, Quintion, and Ty were sitting at the table. Tyler and Sky's chairs were empty. I felt my heart fall when I saw the empty chairs. We've lost two so far, I can't bare to loose anyone else. Well, unless it was Lilly, she watched Tyler die, and it didn't seem like she even cared.
They looked at me as I sat down. I glared at Skylar as I scanned the room. "You can hate me all you want, I'm still gonna be here no matter what." She snapped at me returning my glair.
I was about to reply when Ty and Lilly came in. Lilly looked at the floor and leaned on the wall. She stared at the ground and spoak to no one. Mitch sat in his seat and looked over at Lilly. "Man, she's still beating herself up after what happened to Tyler the other day."
"Well, it was her fault." I grumbled in response.
Mitch looked at me like I was nuts. "How is Sky killing Tyler her fault." He paused for a moment. "If anything, it's my fault." I looked at him. "I stopped her from helping him. I held her back as she tried to save him. I didn't want anyone else hurt or killed. It was a stupid mistake."
"You're right, it was, you should have let the girl get herself killed. Enders aren't trustworthy anyway."
"What are you talking about? Lilly and Skylar are the most trustworthy people here."
I said nothing and looked at Seto. He had started to calm everyone down and was talking. "What we saw in the Nether was not what we expected. Herobrine has completely taken over Sky. The potion I made didn't work. So we need a new plan. I'm not giving up on Sky, he wouldn't give up on us, so we're gonna save him. No matter what."
I heard mermers of agreement and looked around the room. Lilly had lifted her head to look at Seto. Her face still expressionless.
"Does anyone have any ideas." Everyone put in their thoughts and opinions. Most were good ideas others, well, they needed improvement. Everyone was yelling and arguing with eachother. Thank Notch for the soundproof room. Through all the noise I thought I heard someone say 'Steve' but I ignored it and continued to argue with Ty. Then Seto shouted at us. "GUYS, shhh. Lilly is trying to speek."
"Who cares?" I muttered under my breath.
"Why don't we get Steve's help? I mean, we can't get Notch's help, he's been gone for years, but Notch trusted Steve with everything. So maybe he can help us." No one said anything and she looked back at the floor. "It was just a thought."
"No, that's a good idea. We just need to find Steve. Then we can figure out how to stop Herobrine and save Sky." Everyone nodded including me. "Than its settled," Seto said clapping his hands together. "Mitch, Jerome, and Quintion, you three are responsible for finding Steve's whereabouts. Jason, Skylar, and I will find him and ask for his help. The rest of you will stay here and keep the kingdom in check."
I nodded and walked to Lilly, and wispered in her ear, "You're lucky they need you, or you and your sister would be with the squids."
She glared at me and smiled. "No matter how hard you try, even if they don't need me, you can't get rid of us. We have the sprit of a Skyarmy recrute, and that won't die easily."
I glared at her and walked away. She shouldn't even be here. Neather of them should.
I have just as much a right to be here as you do Jason.
How are you in my head?
I have my ways. You can try time and time again to get rid of me, but it won't work.
Get out of my head, now.
She was quiet for a while, I'll make you a deal, once we save Sky and defeat Herobrine, I'll leave. You'll only have to deal with Skylar, but I'll go. I just need you to trust me until then, deal?
I thought about it for a moment. Deal. I'll trust you till this all blows over, then you go.
I give you my word.
I walked to my room and shut the door. I looked out the window and watched the new recrutes train with the older ones and sighed. We'll save you Sky, I promise.
Herobrine's pov
I walked around the castle and watched the mobs and my minions train on the grounds. I smerked as they knocked eachother to the ground. The overworld will be mine, and nothing will stand in my way now. I walked to the dungeon and stopped at one of the cells. Inside was one of my brothers. He sat leaning on the wall, his bright blue shirt stained with blood and torn in several places. His dark blue pants ripped also stained. He had cuts and scars all over his body and his lip was bleeding. "Hello brother, comfortable?"
"You don't have the right to call me brother anymore Brine." He snapped. He attempted to stand but winced with pain and stayed where he was.
"Aww, what's wrong Steve, cant handel a little pain?" He glared at me and said nothing in response. "Well, I guess you will finally understand what I went through for years. All the pain and torment that you and Notch put me through. Now I will finally get my turn. And who's gonna stop me?"
"The Skyarmy will put an end to you once and for all." Steve said his voice full of determination, even if his eyes show how much pain he was in. "Sky won't let you win."
I smiled. "Oh, you didn't know? Sky is mine now. Skybrine!" The moment I called his name, he teleported to my side.
"How may I serve you, my lord." Skybrine asked.
"No, Sky, listen to me, this isn't who you are, this isn't what you're ment to be doing. You're Minecraft's protector." Steve said staring in horror at Sky's golden eyes, shining bright under his sunglasses.
"Sky? Why does everyone keep calling me that? That man, Tyler I think, even he kept saying that this wasn't who I use to be. Guess what Steve, this is the new Sky. Don't know if you've heard yet, but no one will get in my way. I think they 'Skyarmy' learned that already." Skybrine said walking to the bars of the cell.
"Sky, what did you do?"
He smiled. "I've chosen my side of this war, I suggest you do the same."
Steve shook his head. "This isn't your chioce, you are doing this against your will, snap out of it Sky, please."
I sent Sky off to train with the others and turned to Steve. "Face it Steve, you've lost. You, Notch, and all of Minecraft will fall to me just as the mighty Skydoesminecraft did." I leaned on the bars. "I won, no one can stop me now." I smiled as Steve sighed, and I walked away.
"The recrutes and generals will find a way to stop you." I heard Steve say as I walked off.
"Well, then I guess they can join their friend Tyler on his death bed." I've one this war. Now I can't be stopped.
