Finding Steve?

Quintion's pov

I walked to the armory with Mitch and Jerome. As we walked in, Mitch immediately went to grab spare arrows, and Jerome went to repair his axe. I walked over to the wall across from the door and grabbed a golden sword. It's not often that I use swords, only during war, but this is seems like a time where I might need a blade. We got some armour and left.

"Where should we look first?" Jerome asked.

"Well, we should check the last place he was seen." Mitch replyed.

I stared at him in shock. "We can't go that far over our border. He was last spotted in the first town he and Herobrine protected. That's almost ten miles away. It would take us almost three days on foot."

"Well, I guess we'll have to ride the horses, won't we." Jerome replyed running to the stables. Mitch and I ran after him and mounted our horses.

~~one day later,cuz I be lazy~~

I awoke mounted on my horse, and nearly fell off. "Hey, 'bout time you woke up, fish. You've been sleeping for a while." Mitch joked as we rode closer to the town.

I rubbed my eyes and muttered. "I'm not a fish."

As we got closer we spotted some townsfolk running around and the guards, well guarding the gates. One of the guards seemed to be a hybrid of some sort. His eyes facing in different directions, and he seemed agrivated. "Max, for the last time I'M NOT A SLOTH! I'M A NARWHAL!" He shouted.

"Yah, I know Ross, but it's still fun to mess with you." The guard named Max replyed with a big smile. He ran one of his hands through his ginger hair, his golden necklace shining in the morning light. Ross smiled evilly. Max's smile fadded. "Ross. Don't. You. Dare."

"Aren't you glad max? It must be fun to tease me, but I can do it to." Ross looked at Max who was starting to get angry. "No need to get Mad Max, you and I know this is what happens when you're a Bad Max."

"Ross, I'm warning you."

"Max, don't be mad, sad, or bad, be glad." Ross smiled at Max and Max tacked him.

"I warned you Ross!" He shouted as he jumped on him.

They wrestled for a bit. We sat and watched for a few moments before Mitch cleared his troat. They stopped and looked at us. "Uh, hello, how can we help you?" Ross asked getting up and taking his position by the gate, Max doing the same.

"We came here to find Steve. The Butter kingdom needs his help." I replyed. Jerome started snickering and Mitch punched his arm to get him to stop.

Ross and Max gave eachother an uneasy look. "The thing is....we don't actually know where Steve is." Max said.

"Yah, he just kinda, dissapeared the other day. No one's been able to find him, it's like he dropped off the face of the over....world...." Ross's eyes clouded when he realized what happened to Steve.

Max looked over at his friend. His eyes filled with worry. "Ross?"

"I-I think I know where he is....." Ross's said staring at the ground.

"Really? Where?" I asked.

"Well, if we can't find him in the overworld, then theirs only two other places he could be." Ross replyed not taking his eyes off the gravel path.

Max thought for a moment before he finally understood what Ross ment. "Oh no. Why would he go their? He remembers who lives there right?"

Ross nodded. "I don't think he went their willingly, that's the problem."

Mitch and Jerome gave eachother an uneasy look. They understood what was going on. I had no clue. "Thank you, I promise we will find Steve." Jerome said as they rode off.

I followed them still unsure of what was going on. "Guys, do you know something I don't? Where's Steve?"

Mitch looked at me, his eyes filled with fear. "Quintion, Steve's in the Nether."

I nearly stopped my horse and stared at him. "The Nether?" Mitch nodded. "Does that mean...."

Jerome interrupted me, "that Herobrine captured his brother. And now we have to get him back."

Herobrine's pov

I paced my room, deep in thought. Where is she? She should've been here an hour ago.

"My lord, Jade is here to see you." Skybrine said kneeling and bowing his head.

"Send her in." I demanded. He nodded and moments later Jade took his place. "So, have they discovered him yet?"

"No, not yet. He still has the whole kingdom fooled."

I smerked and dismissed her to roam the grounds. My plan is still in play. Now, I wait for the 'Skyarmy' to make their move. Nothing will get in my way. I teleported to Steve's cell and he glared at me. "Still alive I see."

"As long as I know that people are coming, that people still care. I'll still be here."

The smile on my face grew. "Well, lets hope nothing changes their mind."

"What do you mean?" Steve asked cautiously.

"I mean, you're all doomed to fall." Steve stared at me and I stared back. "You'll see soon enough, brother."

"Don't call me that. You lost the right to be my brother when you became this. You were once someone who cared, what happened Hero?"

"Hero? That nickname died when you turned on me."

"I turned on you? You tried to kill me!"

"Ever wondered why? Have you ever once stopped to think about why I do this? No, you and Notch cower behind your 'protector of Minecraft', and look where that brought you. Your hero has fallen to me, and soon, so shall you."

Steve looked at me with sorrow in his eyes. "Hero, I-I'm sorry."

I glared at him before I walked away. "No, you're not." I walked back to my room and slammed the door. I sat on my bed and placed my head in my hands. I hadn't slept in days, how can I? All these thought racing through my head, all these memories haunting me. Even my minions have noticed that I don't sleep anymore. I lifted my head and looked down at my bed.

Would you look at that, the mighty Herobrine sitting alone in his room, hiding from the world.

You again? What do you want?

To make sure you don't screw this up.

I've made it this far without you, so if you'd just go die in a pit of lava, that would be great.

Jeez, someone missed me.

I shook my head and sighed. My door opened and I looked up. No one was their. I stood and shut the door. I scanned the room and found nothing. I walked to my bed again and layed down. Staring at the ceiling I tried to clear my head and get some sleep. After a while, my eyelids grew heavy and I drifted to sleep.

Well, well, well, isn't this just pathetic. The mighty Herobrine, the only one who is able to catch and turn Skydoesminecraft, is growing weaker by the day. Well, I guess it's a good thing I'm here to level the playing field.

No, you're not.
