I closed my eyes trying to forget what haunts my every thought. I tried to think of a time where he didn't exist, I guess that was never as he always seemed to be there or I was to young to remember the years without him. 

I opened my eyes to look at Bennie hoping we would have all the answers in the world.  Answers to what should do, to tell me why I was the only target, and etcetera. 

Sadly Bennie didn't hold all the answers.  He only held comfort as he moved closer to me.  He had successfully ate his whole bone and was ready to do whatever I wanted.

Sometimes when I got tired of listening to the music and need something different we would go for a walk or lay in the grass out front, but it's to cold for that now. 

Maybe we could just sink into the memories, until darkness consumed us.
