He knows

*Team Prime*

"You can't be serious Prime!" Ratchet scolded.

Standing behind his Prime, who is currently at the large computer set up, trying to get ahold of the other fraction.

"We must know before she gets hurt or worse." He argues back to his medic.

"What if Megatron doesn't know that Dreadwing is seeing her? It might cause her more harm." Ratchet moves closer, lowering his tone.

The Primes shoulders fell forward, understanding his old friends words. He lets out a sigh and brings his head up, looking across the screen.

"We need to keep a closer watch. The second Dreadwing makes his true self known, I want her in here and I want her to know that we are the good guys. I want her protected." Optimus orders as the screen goes blank.

"We will take care of her Optimus, but we also can't keep her from her job. She isn't like the kids."

"Maybe Agent Fowler can help." He rubs his chin with his large fingers, thinking all of this over.

*With Jane*

I run into the locker rooms, slamming the door behind me. My hand slaps over my heavy beating heart and I try and get my breathing back to normal. For the past week all I've been doing is rushing back and forth from where I work to where I sleep. To the head and to the tarmac. I feel like I'm on a stealth mission. I'm not even that stealthy. But I have to keep hiding or he will keep watching me. It's getting beyond creepy now, but I have no reason to say something. I don't even know what I'd say. 'Hey Agent fowler is following me around all the time. His wondering eyes are always on me, but as soon as I look, he's not there.' I never catch him. I catch glimpses of that suit. That damn suit that has started to haunt my dreams.

I catch my breath and get to my locker. My fingers fumble as I try and unlock the metal door. I can't think straight and its not just from the stupid agent. Its my patrol day and I'm supposed to see Dreadwing again. I haven't been able to get him off my mind since I met him. I'm excited and nervous to see him again. That's if he even shows up again. What if he doesn't show up? What if he does show up and he attacks instead. What if it's a trap? There are so many variables I've been thinking over. There are so many things that could go wrong.

I pull my jumpsuit over my legs and pull my arms through the sleeves. I zip up and pat down my suit. Checking that everything is in place. Time to get out on the deck. I have flight to catch.

*Team Prime*

"She's getting ready to fly now." Fowler speaks over the phone.

"Roger that, Agent Fowler." A young man, barely an adult answer.

"Jack? Where's Prime? Ratchet?"

"They are all on a mission. I'll make sure Optimus knows."

"He better. I don't need Dreadwing intercepting her again."

"Got it"

"Fowler out." A click echoed around the base and Jack commed the mighty leader. "Optimus, Lieutenant Jane is about to fly in the air."

"Dreadwing seems to be distracted, he might by trying to leave as well. Thank you, Jack."

*Jane POV*

I check the flight controls, start the engine up and prepare for takeoff. The mechanics went through and through the flight and comm systems to make sure everything is working in tip top shape this time. They didn't find anything wrong last time, but they did a double check to make sure. I hope nothing goes out on me this time. Though it was quite convenient last time. I secure my helmet and mask and make way to the strip, ready for takeoff. I give a thumbs up to the flag boy and head towards the sky.

I'm soon staring into white clouds and blue skies. Soring high and mighty. I stay on route, working the patrol. Empty skies greet me as I continue to fly. Sun glaring down on me, bouncing around the cockpit. Within minutes I'm miles away from the base, heading west. The sounds of the jet engine drown out any thoughts coming to my mind. Even with headset on, helping to drown out some of the noise, it is still deafening. A glare from another cockpit blinds me for a moment. He came.

He fly's up next to me and I can't help but stare over at him. I can't see through his golden cockpit, that beautiful gleaming curvy cockpit. I let him take lead and follow him to the same area we were at last week. We make our descend, our landing gear releasing. My landing is better than normal, making me smile to myself. The golden bless opens next to me, distracting me for a moment and I watch Dreadwing hop out of his jet. I turn off my systems, then take my gear off. Hydraulics hiss as the cap of my cockpit opens. With my gear shoved aside I jump out and land perfectly on the ground. Dreadwing stand a few feet away, near his jet still. I look up to him with a huge smile on my face.

"Hey golden boy!" I say excitedly.

A smile appears on his face as he begins to walk closer. I meet him in the middle and look up at him.

"You came." I can't help but say.

"I told you I would see you."

"Yeah but lives in the military get busy, and I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't show up."

"That is true."

Silence falls over us. A little awkward, but I think we will be alright. I try and think of things to say, but my mind is running blank. I'm just so excited he showed up. I wonder if this will become a thing. One question does come to mind.

"Dreadwing, why are you meeting with me? I mean I think its great. I'd like to think maybe you can teach me some of your moves, but why me?"

He stares down at me for a moment. I can see him thinking hard about an answer. His mouth opens and closes, no words coming out. I must have really stumped him.

"Your flying reminded me of someone. Someone I lost not long ago. When he first started flying, he was just like you, so much potential. He became one of the best fliers I know. I had to meet you, see you in person."

I stare intently up at him, I see the pain and loss in his crimson eyes.

"Can I ask who he was?"

"He was my brother, my twin. There is a war I'm currently fighting in and he was killed by the enemy."

I can't help but be confused. There is no war going on right now. Unless there is one that I don't know about, but I'm usually clued in on international wars. I mean there is always fighting between some nations, but the US isn't always involved.

"I'm so sorry Dreadwing. I can't imagine what its like to lose a sibling. Were you two close?" I want to know everything, but I don't want to intrude either. "You don't have to tell me anything, if you don't want too."

"No, it feels good to talk about him. We were very close. We got separated for awhile during our war. I wasn't there when he died, but I know he died with honor." His eyes seem to light up at the talk of his twin.

"I'm sure he did." I set a comforting hand on his arm. He seemed to shiver under my touch, but soon relaxed.

We continue to talk more, well more I talked. He listened to me, nodding here and there, maybe adding his two cents. It had only been a few minutes, but that few minutes could send other soldiers out to find me. Soon I had to leave and so did he. We lingered for a moment, before climbing into our respected jets. He flew off first and I followed not long after. Static began come from my speakers. Words come mumbled through. I fumbled with the nobs, trying to get it to clear up.

"This is Oscar one Juliet. Come in Alpha one echo." I wait for a bit, listening intently. More static comes through. I fly towards base and things start to clear up.

"Where the hell are you?"

"I'm flying back now. I must have gone through an odd area."

"Well this happens every time you fly. Stop going through that area."

"Yeah we'll talk about this when I get back."

"Just hurry up."

"Jets have speed limits too."

"No, they don't."

I laugh and continue on my way.

I park the jet and as I jump out, I look up and there the captain is, staring down at me. I'd salute, only he's not wearing his cover.

"Good afternoon, Sir." I say with a smile.

"Don't give me that crap. What's going on? Why do you keep going off grid the past few flights?" His hands are on his hips. I bite my lip, not wanting to say anything.

"I don't know. Maybe it's the path I take. I can try..."

"Don't even. What is really going on?"

"Nothing, I'm just doing my job." I argue back.

He takes a step closer to me, crossing his arms over his chest. With my helmet under my arm, I step closer too, puffing my chest out a little bit. I will not let him find out.

"Got something else to say." I encourage, waiting for him to say something he might regret.

"You're not to go on patrol for the rest of the month. Your grounded."

I can't believe what I'm hearing. I stare at him in shock, absolute shock.

"I'm grounded?" I question.

"Yes, don't even try to change my mind." He points a finger in my face and then leaves me with my jaw hanging to the ground.

I'm still standing there when Drake comes up and waves his gloved hand in front of my face.

"I'm grounded." I say in a quiet voice, staring off into the distance.

"What why?" He reels back at my statement.

"I don't know. The Captain knows something I don't." I finally look at him, fire in my eyes. I will not let this go. "And I'm going to find out what."

I push past Drake and storm my way into the office. Not even bothering to change first.

As I'm about to storm into the Captains office, I pause as I hear voices. Both I recognize.

"You know I won't be able to keep her grounded for to long, not without reason." The Captain says in a hushed whisper.

"She could be in grave danger." Agent Fowler argued back.

"From what? There isn't a threat out here."

"I can't tell you."

"You can't tell me." Captain repeats and I hear a speak from his chair, I'm assuming he sat down.

"Fowler, I need a reason. This top-secret thing you keep mentioning, isn't making this any easier. She will probably come in here, demanding a reason at why she is grounded. What do I tell her?"

"Make something up. We just don't want her flying right now. When we get it figured out, I'll let you know."

I hear footsteps close in on the door. I quickly scramble away from the door and run to my office. Hoping he doesn't see me as he walks out the door. I lean against my closed door, thinking over what I just heard. Agent Fowler knows something. I'm sure of it. Great what do I do now?
