The next day, Hikari and Shion are in the meeting room with Nanami. The manager and composer had decided to work on the solos as soon as possible and Shion was first on their list.

"So then, Amakusa-san." Nanami started off. "Do you have any ideas to how you want your song to be?"

Shion looked up at her, then turned to Hikari, then looked back at her. "Something that describes Amakusa's heart."

Hikari had her head turned to Shion. "What do you mean by that?"

"... Ever since Fumetsu no Inferno... No... Since Visible Elf, Amakusa wants to sing even more. I want to sing a song that comes from the deepest part of the Amakusa heart!"

The sudden outburst had Nanami taken aback. Nonetheless, she smiled and nodded. "Understood. I'll come up with something from those two songs you mentioned and write a whole new thing for you!"

Shion looked at her with a surprised face, but let out a gentle smile. "Amakusa will look forward to it."

Shion left for another job and the two girls stayed behind to work on the concept.

"So what's Amakusa-san like at the dorms?" Nanami asked.

Hikari gave some thought before replying. "He's... A really innocent child as far as the mind could tell. He's someone who cares about HEAVENS a lot and while he may seem fragile, he actually has a really strong resolve."

"Ah, I see. He really is a lot like Cecil-kun." Nanami said, smiling. "Alright, I'll note what you said. I'll listen to Visible Elf again after this so I can start with the music. Will you help me chose the arrangements later?"

Hikari beamed. "Of course!"

Nanami giggled as they both stood up. "Sora-chan, you sure have been getting along well with HEAVENS."

Since when did she start calling me with that suffix? Oh well, not like I mind. "Yeah, they're great!"

"Some of STARISH are still worried, but they all know you have your reasons."

"How's the birthday boy doing?"

"Jinguji-san's birthday was two days ago. He's still trying to figure out what to do with all the chocolate he recieved. It's strange though, he doesn't normally get this much. And I know none of the STARISH members would give him theirs because they all know he dislikes chocolate."

"Oh... So that's where the other half of Van's went."

"Kiryuin-san?!"

"Yeah. He told me he's gonna do a two months early April Fools prank. And when I saw his stash after that, at least half of his mountain was gone."

"Jinguji-san will be angry when he finds out."

"Then let's not let him find out."

The two girls bickered until they got outside. They parted ways, Nanami back to Shining's Master Course dorms, Hikari to her next appointment.

Both girls clapped with joy. Shion had sung the song perfectly and he seemed to be enjoying himself too. He smiled at them as he walked out of the recording room. "This is the song that comes from my heart... It feels amazing."

"You did great, Shion!" Hikari cheered.

"So what will the title be?" Nanami asked.

His smile grew just slightly wider. "Michibiki Hikari."

Hikari blinked. "Eh... Guiding light, hm? That's interesting." I mean I'm not offended that you're using my name. I'm just kinda surprised, that's all.

That day, Shion and Hikari went home in the limo. Only a few minutes after it started moving and Hikari opened her mouth to speak.

"Hey Shion? Why did you call it that?" She asked.

He turned towards her. "The song?"

Hikari nodded. "And the lyrics... How did you come up with them?"

He looked away in thought and leaned back in his seat. "Eiichi and Eiji now act so much happier since you came. Kira started talking more, Nagi's been smiling more, Van became more serious about things and Yamato's heart had become softer..." He cast her a glance as he continued. "I believe... In a way, I had changed as well. And it's all thanks to you being here with us."

Hikari blinked. She did all that? In just a month? She mentally rewinded his words. "Umm... About some of the guys you mentioned..."

Shion caught on quickly and nodded. "Nagi usually has either a frown or a mocking smirk, but lately, he's been showing his true smile. Kira had been speaking more words than usual. I think it's mostly because you wouldn't be able to see his sign language. Yamato likes to act though, but since you came along, he's been taking things slowly to make sure you could keep up."

Hikari frowned. "... Aside Nagi's part, it sounds more like I'm slowing you guys down..."

Shion's eyes widen and he shook his head. "Not at all! We all appreciate you being here. You are HEAVENS' light..."

She looked at him before cracking a smile. "That line sounded like something from a story book."

Shion shook his head. "I'm... Cringing from it too..."

"It is cliché."

"Let's not say it ever again."
