Uh Oh

Back in the Idealist's headquarters, Viva and Floyd grew impatient as he continued working at his desk. Viva looked around the room and quickly noticed Ræm speaking to another recorder.

"Hey, you!" she shouted, marching towards the confused man with Floyd right behind her. "Yeah, that's right, you! I take it you got the passkey in that thing on your head!"

"I would advise against aggression," the Idealist interrupted, getting up from his desk.

"Oh, got time for us now?" Floyd said sarcastically, but the Idealist just ignored him.

"Your friend once took advantage," he explained. "I learn my lessons. I aim some small part of my mental capacity back in my own direction, and now, gravity itself serves my whims."

When Viva and Floyd weren't looking, Bralø turned away and activated the comm wired into her own brain implant.

"Hellhound, now."

Outside the gate, Willow sat on the hood of the toy car and nervously watched as the cybernetically modified dog flew off on an inbuilt jetpack.

"Please be safe, Synth," she muttered.

"You must find Eden somewhat familiar," the Idealist said to Viva and Floyd. "I had done a bit of research on your species for almost two decades. Your people had wonderful spirit, and a rather peculiar sort of energy fueled by your love of music."

"Is that why you stole all those eggs?" Floyd asked. "Why you almost kidnapped my baby brother?"

"Well, I had to see how your energy reacted to my genetic enhancements," he explained (lousy defense, if you ask me). "Eventually, most of them died and I got bored. Still, the art and music and glued and glittered literature were some of the most unique in the universe. Trolls Kingdom would be a fabulous place, were it not for the ignorance and bigotry."

"We've gotten better at that," Viva said, clenching her fists.

"It inspired me to create Eden," he carried on, despite Floyd and Viva's annoyance. "All of the good and none of the bad."

"Look, dude," Floyd argued, "we didn't come all the way here for some sob story from a maniac who didn't get enough hugs from his dad to justify why he needs to conquer the universe."

"I'm not trying to conquer the universe," the Idealist insisted. "I'm perfecting it."

Viva took a deep breath. "Look, Mr. Idealist, we're very pressed for time and we really need that passkey."

"Then, bring me H2-Omicron," he replied.

Floyd put his foot down and said, "How about you suck my-"

"Why are you so angry?" the Idealist asked.

"Because we know what you did to my boyfriend," Viva answered. The Idealist just kneeled down and glared at them.

"Anything I've done, I've done for the betterment of the universe!"

"Yeah?" Floyd said. "Well, newsflash, genius. Better universes don't usually include a bunch of octopuses selling junk to guys with cockroach heads."

"They do not," the Idealist admitted, and got back up to look out the window at the world he created. "Which is why, as I have done many times before... I'm going to have to raze it all and start again."

"Wait, what?" Viva asked, confused.

Back on the ship, Plasma was humming to herself as she painted her tiny toenails when she heard an alarm going off. Grabbing her gun, she looked down the stairs to find Hellhound carrying Synth's body in one of its robotic paws.

"Hey!" Plasma shouted, aiming her gun at the dog-bot. "Drop the tuna."

Hellhound dropped Synth, then flew up to smash Plasma into the wall. Plasma, as well as the rest of her race, had a much tougher body than a Troll's, so she wasn't hurt too bad, but she was still very sore at the moment.

"I got H2-Omicron, and I'm on my way," Hellhound said through a comm to Bralø as it picked Synth back up.

"We're in possession of the subject," Bralø alerted the Idealist, who smiled in satisfaction.

Suddenly, Viva, Floyd, and everyone else in the room felt the floor shake. Outside, Willow noticed the entire building lifting off the ground. With no one guarding the gate, she walked past it to get a better look.

"Oh, my God," she muttered as building kept rising, throwing dirt of a buried portion.

Floyd took one last look out the window before turning to Viva, who nodded at him.

"Kill 'em all," she said angrily, but just before they could do anything, the Idealist telekinetically pinned them to the ground and began heading out of the room with Bralø.

Back on the ship, Hellhound was prepared to take off when suddenly, Plasma jumped on its back and stabbed it in the shoulder. Dropping Synth again, Hellhound grabbed Plasma, tossed her into another wall, and prepared to fire its weapon, but turned its head and noticed George flying towards it with the fuzzy little critter in his hand. Using his other hand, he grabbed Hellhound by the neck and slammed her against a wall, quite poetically. The critter jumped out of George's hand and wandered a short ways away from him.

"Pixie, stay," George commanded, but she kept crawling off. "What, do you want to go back so Mother can murder you? I said, stay."

Plasma was about to leave, her body aching, but quickly noticed Synth lying on the floor, struggling to breath. She wondered, should she save just herself or also save the Techno Troll the others were risking their lives to save?

"What the hell?" Hellhound exclaimed as it got back up. "We're working for the same boss!"

"Yes," George said, "but I need the credit, chum, to save my entire civilization. So be a good creepy... thing, and back off."

Instead of backing off, Hellhound lunged at George, but he just grabbed its head and easily ripped it off. When he looked back, he immediately noticed both Synth and Plasma were gone.

"No," he muttered, and ran through a corridor to look outside while Plasma ran under the ship with Synth in her arms. George noticed the townsfolk staring at the Idealist's headquarters slowly rising from the ground. Just as he looked back at the townspeople, an explosion erupted beneath them!

Plasma stopped running as she noticed the first of several eruptions, one of them throwing dirt and chunks of pavement in her direction. She looked over at an elderly tiger couple embracing each other just before another explosion, killing them both instantly. With no time to think of anything but escaping, Plasma carried Synth up the ship's ramp.

George's eyes widened as he suddenly remembered... "Mother."

As Plasma headed inside the ship, she found Pixie staring at her nervously. Before Plasma could react, another explosion jostled the ship, and send her, Synth, and the critter hurtling down the upturned corridor!

Desperate to save the closest thing he had to a mom, George soared across the street, weaving around the explosions destroying the neighborhood. In the midst of the chaos, he noticed Starlene staring out from their ship in horror.

"MOTHER!" he screamed, just before an explosion erupted beneath the ship, killing Starlene and knocking George away into a cloud of smoke and debris.

At the security gate, Willow turned on her comm and said, "Trollex and John Dory, come in! Trollex? John?"

"Uh, hey, kiddo," John Dory's voice responded unsteadily.

"I need you to bring the ship to the pyramid now!" she ordered.

"Well, we can't exactly do that because... we're not at the ship."

"Then, where the hell are..." Willow cut herself off in annoyance as she noticed John Dory, Trollex, and Hope just a few yards away from her, with Trollex accusingly pointing at John Dory.
