Phil went to the park as soon as Chris phone down. He just wanted to clear his head before he talked to Dan. He was extremely nervous, everything could go wrong.

He wandered around, immersed in thought, for around forty-five minutes before sitting on the swings in the kid's park. He waited for ten minutes, then fifteen, then twenty.

Finally, Dan arrived ten minutes later. Phil wasn't angry or upset because he knew Dan went at his own pace, even if his own pace was painfully slow.

"Hey, Phil..." Dan called.

Phil just nodded, he really wasn't in the mood for Dan's bullshit. He knew what he was going to say. He'd justify his actions, apologise, maybe cry and then Phil would cry.

"Phil, I know, I'm a shit excuse of a human," Oh, "and, well, I'm not even gonna try get you back anymore because you hate my fucking guts and I know by the look on your face that you really don't even care about the words coming out of my mouth. I've-I-I've changed."

Phil really wasn't expecting that. He could feel his icy grey eyes burning but the last thing he wanted to do right now was cry in front of Dan.

"No," Phil muttered, "the you you're now is the same you I was in love with yesterday. You're the same you that I'll be in love with tomorrow. And I know that, but you cheated on me, Dan,"

Dan opened his mouth to speak but Phil carried on, "and don't you dare blame it on the alcohol. Just because you were at some stupid high school party doesn't matter. Any one who cheats drunk has obviously thought about it while sober. Alcohol changes your behaviour, not your morals."

"I never once thought about cheating on you Phil, honestly."

"Okay, Dan." Phil said bitterly.

Dan looked away from Phil's beautiful grey eyes and down at his shoes, "so I've got no chance." he said mainly to himself.

Phil never said that. He didn't even imply it. He still loved Dan. He really loved Dan and it wasn't fair because he couldn't trust him anymore.

"You know what Dan? I love you, okay. I love you from the bottom of my heart but I don't know if I can trust you anymore." Phil admitted.

"I really really love you too, I regret everything," Dan felt a lump in his throat but he didn't care.

He loved Phil and that was definitely something worth fighting for.

Dan looked up into Phil's eyes looking for something, anything, and they looked blue again. They weren't just blue. They were azure etched with a breathtaking sky blue with the slightest, most beautiful gold flecks.

They were perfect.
