Chapter 1: Meetings
"Juuzou, please refrain from embarrassing your team today." Shinohara politely requested as the young boy giggled while sucking on his fruity lollipop. "Not to worry, Shinohara-san. She's gonna be here in a minute; she'll keep em' in check." Takizawa stated, calming his superior's nerves while glaring at the playful young adult. As if on cue, the door opened and there she stood. Grasping her pages of notes and her skirt fitting her body. She looked like a professional. "Ah, Akira! Please keep Juuzou in check during our meeting, please." Takizawa asked, as her cold eyes focused on his small frame. "Sure." She bluntly replied, glancing to the hyper-active boy, swinging his legs merrily on top of his desk. "When will my under-up arrive?" Akira asks, snapping her eyes to Juuzou. "Soon~" he answered, continuing his gleeful actions. Walking calmly through the door, said woman approached her superior. The woman stood next to Akira, grasping a brief case and a Manila folder of documents. "Juuzou, collect your files, we are headed to the meeting." Akira instructed. After gathering up his disorganized pile of paper, he hopped along-side Akira and her under-up. As the meeting started, the inhabitants rifled through papers, discussing topics of high and mediocre importance. Golden hues grazed over a certain albino seated near, said woman. The scarlet eyed boy gazed back up at her and cocked his head curiously. The under-up smiled warmly as she took in the appearance of her highness. "Hinagara, are you paying attention?" The general barked. Looking calmly back up to the leader, she stated; "Yes sir, I am." Satisfied with her polite response, the general smirked and continued his lecture. A soft giggle was heard next to her, Juuzou was snickering. "You got in trouble~" he called, mocking her previous situations. Rolling her eyes, she smiled and grasped his blank paper. Her hand moving to write him a note.
"You shouldn't speak during a lecture, Juuzou-sama. But regardless, I was aware of that fact."
Reading her message, he gratefully took his turn to respond.
"Yeah, yeah. This lecture is boring. What are we even discussing?"
A faint chuckle escaped her throat, but not loud enough to draw attention.
"We are discussing the case of the Binge Eater ghoul. We are creating a plan to investigate the death site."
Crimson hues lit up as a huge beam etched across his pale lips. She had already known very well that they boy loved his job. Not that she didn't herself, she just found it more as a side thing rather than her focal point. Her focal point was the stunning King before her. She couldn't fathom the very idea of being graced with his presence. He was an absolute work of art, gorgeous. He was really gorgeous. He was everything to her, her will, blood, and oxygen. After all, they have known each other since the dawn of time. Juuzou was her only friend and only reason to live. She dedicated her very being to serve him. If he was evil, she would serve him whole heartedly, good, she would serve him wholeheartedly. The grinning boy giggled softly at her lost expression. He truly was a noble. A God. She couldn't help but smile back at the ray of sunshine. Intertwining her fingers together, she focused on the meeting before her. The noise drowning out her thoughts, her mind corrupted with knowledge. Pushing back locks of cyan, she wrote notes of the topics discussed. "Hinagara, you investigated this ghoul before. What was her kagune type?" The supreme asked concerned. "The binge eater was a rank S bikauku; shining scales with multiple tentacle-like arms." She responded rather flatly, as she did not avert eyes from her notes. Astonished with her quick and well worded reply, the captain coughed. "R-right, so Mado-San what are your thoughts?" The silver haired man happily responded with an absurd idea. Scoffing very quietly, you turned your attention to the notes. Hearing your noise of displeasure, Juuzou snickered lightly. "Heh, guess you're not too fond of that idea, eh?" He questioned, bleachy hair swaying softly with his words. "Guess not, but I'd honestly prefer that we go in groups on different dates to keep the variables constant in the investigation." She stated coldly, staring into his sparkling scarlet eyes. "You use big words, it's confusing." You let a light laugh from your mouth at his comment. "Meeting Adjourned." And she grasped his stitched hand toniest him home. "Let's go, we have to eat dinner before the restaurants close." She informed, looking at the bright boy. "Okay!"
