People walked down the dirt road of Konoha as they gave a suspicious look at a certain group who were spying at an apartment. Three girls and six boys spoke in hushed voices.

"What should we do?"

"Surprise?

"No that's too common."

"Prank? He likes pranks!"

"Shut it Sakura!"

"You shut it Ino-pig!"

"I got it"

"What is it? What did you think of Shikamaru?"

The teenage group looked at their tactical friend, the one who always has a plan that can win no matter what. Shikamaru was indeed lazy, but with his laziness he was the best at battle plans. He opened his eyes and smirked, looking at his friends who were now staring at him and waiting for his response.

"Choji, locate the Uchiha! Afterwards go find the best cake you can find." Shikamaru ordered as Choji nodded and left. "Ino, you and Sakura keep tabs on Sasuke, since you two are the best at stalking." Which resulted in his head being hit twice by the girls, none the less they obeyed and left. "Hinata, make sure Naruto is in his house sleeping. Kiba and Akamaru you two stake out the roof tops to make sure no one interferes. Neji, use your Byakugan to find the silkiest ribbon you can find, preferably red. Shino use your insects to sneak into the apartment and decorate it. Sai you write a card in very noble writing that reads 'eat me', go!"

Everyone shun shined away to their respective roles while Shikamaru laid back and watched the clouds waiting for everything to be unfolded.

"I found the Uchiha, he's in the market looking at a necklace." Choji spoke into the earpiece as he left after giving his information to retireve the cake, much to his pleasure of course.

"Good, how are you two doing, Ino, Sakura." Shikamaru called into the ear piece.

"Yeah he's here indeed. He bought the necklace and is walking into a decoration shop." Ino whispered as she looked at Sakura who nodded and followed suit into the shop undetected.

"Shino, how are the decorations?"

"They're coming along, I had to used unscented insects since Hinata said he stirred when I used other kinds of bettles." Shino sighed, sitting outside on one of the trees, his hands together as he concentrated.

"Hinata? Any movement from Naruto's window or changes in his chakra?"

"N-no, he's still a-asleep." Hinata said from the outside of Naruto's window. Keeping her chakra supressed and she used the Byakugan.

"Sai?"

"The sign is ready, although formal writing isn't really my thing but it's fine." Sai said with a smile as he wrote in black ink carefully onto a red paper he had bought from a local store.

"Kiba?"

"The Uchiha's older brother is entering my field of vision, it seems as if he's heading towards Sasuke's location." Kiba informed as he was perched on a branch hidden.

"Crap, he might want to take the Uchiha somewhere else, we can't let him do that, distract him Kiba." Shikamaru​ ordered.

"What?! Why me?" Kiba said uncomfortable.

"You know why, he's taken a liking to you when you beat Sasuke in Ninjutsu that one time, now get to it!" Shikamaru orderd out the command. "Neji how are you doing?"

"This oji-sama thinks she can take the last roll of pink ribbon from me." Neji said, his hand had settled on a pink ribbon instead of red, since it had been sold out. But when he was about to take it an old woman had set her hand upon it as well. They were currently in a glaring contest.

"Get that ribbon at all costs."

"I shall, I didn't go store to store to get beaten by an old woman." Neji sneered as he activated his Byakugan, the old woman held her cane up, ready for the fight.

"I have finished the decorations." Shino said as he sat back, letting his insects return and take a break.

"I got the cake, it's a three layer strawberry topping with delicious whipped cream on top!" Choji said as he stared at the cake he was carrying. "It even has pretty flowers on it."

"Restrain yourself Choji, I know you can, just wait a while longer."

"Sasuke is heading out, his grocery bag in hand." Sakura said.

"He bought wrapping paper and a black ribbon." Ino finished.

"We don't have much time. I'll be on my way to your location." Shikamaru said as he sat up and ran as fast as he could. "Try guiding him into the woods."

"No need he's already making his way back to his clan compound as we speak, he needs to cross the woods." Sakura said with a smirk.

"Distract him."

"Understood!" Ino and Sakura said as they jumped in front of Sasuke Uchiha.

"The rest that are finish follow me." He ordered.

"Hey Sasuke, how's it going?" Sakura said with an innocent smile.

"What do you want Sakura, Ino?" Sasuke said with a cold look.

"What makes you say that we want something from you?" Ino said with a nervous chuckle.

"You have been stalking me the entire morning." Sasuke glared.

"A-ah! You noticed?" Sakura said with a small nervous smile.

"Yes, I am an Uchiha after all." He said as he went to walk again but couldn't, something was restricting him.

"W-what?!" He said looking around with his eyes.

"Got him." Shikamaru said as he stepped out of the bushes, his hands in his pocket as he used his shadow manipulation jutsu.

"What are you idiots doing?" Sasuke growled out, about to use his sharingan.

"Knock him out before he can use the sharingan!" Shikamaru said with a panicked look.

Just in time, Shino hit behind hit neck nocking him out as Shikamaru released his jutsu. "What are you kids doing with my otouto?" A playful sounding voice said.

They froze as they turned fast towards the voice's direction, stepping out was the older brother, Itachi Uchiha, in his arms was a tied up blushing kiba, Akamaru on Itachi's shoulder as we waged his tail in excitement.

"How did you-"

"I know when Kiba lies, it's one of the perks of having when you like someone very dearly." He stated as he made Kiba blush more. "Now then, are you going to tell me why you've knocked out my foolish little brother or am I going to force you?"

"Today is Naruto's birthday." Shikamaru said.

"Ah so that's why Sasuke had left his room so early in the morning." Itachi said understanding. "That doesn't explain the fact that your kidnapping him."

"Naruto is our commrade, it is only logical that we want him to be happy. The past couple of days leading up to his birthday he has been very down." Shikamaru explained.

"His smiles haven't been bright lately." Ino said with a sad look. "We wouldn't understand since he is a jinchuriki of the nine tailed fox, he was born on the date that the village was almost destroyed as well as multiple loves were lost along side his parents."

"So it's only logical that we want to bring his smile back and give him the best present he ever had!" Sakura said with a big smile as the rest smiled along side her. "And that's why we're taking Sasuke with us!"

"I see, alright." Itachi said, the famous Uchiha smirk forming onto his lips. "I'm in."

"What?" They all said confused.

"I'll help you guys, but I'll only carry Sasuke to your destination." Itachi said as he picked up his little brother and waited.

"Right! Next stop Naruto's apartment." Shikamaru ordered as they all left.

"Shikamaru, I have won the battle although I have fallen as well." Neji said as he coughed lightly.

"One of out men are down." Shikamaru cursed under his breath. "Hang tight Neji I'll send Shino to bring you along."

"No need, just take the ribbon, I won't make it." Neji said as he flinched at the many bruises.

The old woman scoffed and left with her cane, giving up on the ribbon. Neji was on the floor bruises decorated his body. "She was indeed a worthy opponent."

"Your sacrifice will not be in vein." Shikamaru said soflty. "Rest now, you've done your part, we'll do the rest."

"Hai." Neji said as he closed his eyes to fall asleep, just as Shino arrived and took the ribbon. He ordered his bugs to carry Neji's body into the woods to make him rest better.

"Let's get to work." Shikamaru said. "Strip him naked. Hinata it's your job to wrap him in the ribbon, complete the task of your fallen cousin."

"H-Hai!" She said determined.

"All we need to do is sneak into his room." Choji said as he looked towards the door.

They sneaked stealthy towards the door, their chakras covered and surpressed to the heightened smell and ears of the ninja sleeping soundless in his room. Sakura went towards the door knob and turned it, only to realize it was locked. "Locked." She said as she cursed.

"Shino." Shikamaru gave a silent order as Shino nodded, he used his bugs to unlock the door quietly and open it without a sound.

Sleeping in his bed sprawled across one side was Naruto, his sleeping clothes wrinkled as he had his mouth open in a quiet snore.

"Finished." Hinata sounded from the living room, they turned and smirked at Hinata who had wrapped Sasuke with bows on his feet, hips, and neck.

Shikamaru carried the uchiha and went to lay him on Naruto's bed, a small creak sounded as they laid Sasuke down. They flinched and looked immediately towards their blonde friend who was still sleeping. Sighing in relief that they haven't been caught yet Shikamaru scooted Sasuke over, Naruto's left arm stretched out just like they needed as they laid Sasuke's head onto the blonde's arm. Sai walked beside Naruto and reached over placing the sign that read "eat me" with a heart on the side in-between Sasuke's arms.

"Mission complete." Shikamaru whispered as he looked at the couple.

Ino snikered as Sakura shushed her with a glare. Chijo was smiling and Shino pulled the blanket over their bodies. Kiba stood at the corner of the room with a smirk, Akamaru in his sweater. Hinata looked shy towards the couple with a glint of admiration towards the two. The pink ribbon in her hands as she hid her smile behind it.

"Happy birthday!" They all chanted loudly, stirring the blonde from his sleep, smirking they all waited to see the blondes reaction.

"Nani?" Naruto said with a yawn as he looked around him. He saw his friends surrounding his bed, each having their own smile. "What are you guys doing here?"

"It's your birthday dummy, and we all pitched in to get you the best present." Sakura said as she giggled.

"Present?" Naruto said confused, more awake.

"Hai, the past couple of days you've been down. And we didn't want the only member of your team that always smiles to become bitter people like us, so we wanted to chat you up." Shikamaru explained, leaving out the depressing parts.

"Arigato, everyone!" Naruto laughed expectantly although slightly sad when he didn't see his boyfriend. "So where's my present?"

"Right next to you!" Ino laughed.

Naruto gave them a confused look as he looked beside him, his face flushed into a crimson red as he saw the love of his life naked and wrapped beautiful for him. A card reading exactly what he was going to do.

"You can all leave now!" Naruto rushed as he stood up pushing them out.

"Oi Naruto what about your cake?" Choji said.

"Eat, I'll be eating something else." Naruto said with a smirk as he shoved his friend out of his apartment, not after saying thank you if course.

He went back to his room and looked towards Sasuke who was now stirring in his sleep. Naruto liked his lips, as he took off his shirt and walked slowly at the awaking ravened haired boy.

"Itadakimasu." He whispered in delight.
