Alex POV

I often pretend to be asleep so John carries me places. So imagine my surprise when I'm just about to drift off and I hear a voice- a beautiful voice for the record- singing and saying, "I love you" 

Now the reason I didn't open my eyes or 'wake up' is because 1) It was a part of the song so it wasn't to me And 2) I fell asleep. 

Had he really said it to me? John loves me? No. No one loves me. But that's perfectly fine because if I work hard enough I won't need anyone. Not even John Laurens.

BaldCoconut POV

I looked at my wrist. 

Are you going to the Halloween party tonight?

I wrote back to my soulmate

If you're there I wouldn't miss it for the world

I smiled. I would finally meet them. I really really REALLY hope they like me. If I were around anyone else right now i would say "whats not to like" with one of those Barbie Ken smiles but really? I'm paranoid.

Peggy POV

Today's the day of the party so I'm legally aloud to wake up John by yeeting a spoon at his face. 10 extra points if it gets lodged in his hair. Bonus if he doesn't wake up.

Dammit... No more spoons. Guess I'll just have to use a chopstick. I walked to his doorway and YEET.

Oh my god.

It landed in his nostril. 

I DON'T EVEN HAVE A POINT SYSTEM FOR THIS BUT I THINK I WIN...

And...wait...hold on...YESSSS he didn't wake up!!!

I tip-toed over to him to retrieve my weapon and saw that he was clutching something. Is that, a notebook? I snatched the book and left the chopstick where it was.

I opened the yellowing pages as I made my way into my room, well, the guest room, and sat down on the bed.

"Oh lordy lordy what do we have here"I murmured flipping through the pages and pages of Alex.

"PEGGY WHAT ARE YOU DOING"

shit he found me.

"Obviously not eating the Chinese food that's in the freezer because the utensils are otherwise... occupied" I tried to keep a strait face but then he realized the chopstick was hanging from his nose and hit it a couple of times before getting it out.

"OH MY GOT JOHN I CAN'T BREATH STOP MAKING ME LAUGH MY GOD"

He stomped over to me and snatched the notebook. His face was bright red. I really do hate when he's mad so I tried to suppress my laughter to no prevail.

"Fuck off and don't snoop in my room you bum"

The pureness is too much.

~later that day~

Alex POV

Not gonna lie. LOVING my costume. I looked like fucking Jafar AND I got to hiss at people. I mean that a Wednesday but still.

I got to the party and didn't see anyone I knew so I called John. I would've called Peggy but like Nawwwwwww.

"Hey Lex what's up" I blushed at the nickname but was kinda scared because I heard a witch cackling in the back. Oh never mind just Pegs.

"I'm just kinda looking for everyone at the party. You here yet?"

"We're like 2 minutes away. Just wait out front."

"K see you then"

"Bye Lex"

Right before he hung up the phone I heard a squeak and shushing.

I looked around. Wow everyone is a slut. Slutty rabbit. Slutty vampire. Slutty... wait is that a chainsaw? Yep there's a Slutty chainsaw here.

The I saw the RudeBaldCoconut himself as, well, a Coconut.

I was going to walk away from him but of course he decided that he should walk up to me. 

When I say he was a coconut he was actually in a coconut ball.  Like in the movies when that random person rolls down a hill of snow and becomes collectively engulfed in a ball. That was Aaron but instead of a snowball it was a coconut.

"Hey um I needed to talk to you." He said scratching the back of his head. I just continued on with my death glare because honestly that was my resting face.

"A-anyway,Um so I love being friends with you" He looked at me and I crossed my arms "I just I feel like we should hang out more you know?" 

I just continued staring. "Great!" He smiled but this was less fake and more- I don' know...

Real. That's the only reason I smiled back.

Suddenly I felt arms wrap around my waist. 

Ew.

"Hey Lexi" I heard someone whisper in my ear. Oh it was just John. I blush

"H-hey John" I smiled

Suddenly I heard laughing and John let me fall on the ground. I looked around to see that PEGGY was the one that had held me up. 

I was so confused. "HA I told you John!" Peggy laughed through tears.

"Shut up Peggy"

Oh so Peggy was the one that picked me up and w-w-whispered in my ear... but why though?

I looked behind the yellow one and saw everyone else including the RudeBaldCoconut looking kinda disgusted.

"Okay enough lets play a game."Angie said all mom-like with her hands on her hips.

"What game?" said Herc asked mocking Angie with his hands on his hips and all.

"OOH OOH HOW ABOUT TRUTH OR DARE?!" Screeched Peggles.

"Isn't that a little--how you say... basic?" Laf protested

"Aren't you... how you say... A BAGUETTE" Peggy shot back. He was indeed a baguette.

He frowned and we all sat in a circle including Theo and Aaron.

"Lets play with a bottle." Said Theo lightly bulling a bottle of beer out of her purse. "Oh darn it's still full. I guess I'll just find a sink to pout it out in-"

"NOPE" said Peggy as she grabbed the bottle and downed it in like 30 seconds. Herc and John were staring at each other and the Peggy and then Angie.

Angie rolled her eyes and continued to clean off the bottle and put it in the center.

Peggy of course spun it first and it landed on Angie.

"Okay Ange, Truth or dare?"

"Tru- no dare no uh I don't know Peg's"

"Okay well don't you wanna find your soulmate? So I dare you to draw a heart under your eye like Theo did" Peggy suggested handing her a blue expo marker. Elidosia hugged.

"O-Okay then" She took the marker and drew a star on her cheek.

We were all looking at Angie except me. I was looking down at my phone. There was an absence of annoying voices so I looked up and around the circle. Everyone was staring at Angelica and I looked around and saw a star-spangled-bald-coconut. 

"Yo Aaron where's you get the sick tattoo?"

Everyone's attention turned to Aaron and Angie gasped.

"YOU?!"

"ME?!"

"OH LORD GET A ROOM YOU TWO" Shouted Peggy.

"Okay" Said Theo and Liza at the same time.

Then the two couples left the lonely people to do lonely games like truth or dare.
