general;
+ the first and only child of kazemaru ichirouta and mio. he originally died in a miscarriage, but later is found in a different timeline in chronostone. in this timeline he hadn't died, and grew up to be three years old. because of this, his mother decided to try again, and this is when chaeya was born.
+ he has the hair colour of his father, but eyes like his mother, as well as her personality to some extent.
+ growing up, chaeya slowly starts to lose connection with his father. he ends up becoming more and more attached to mio, and for a while neither of his parents understood why. ichirouta is a professional soccer athlete, and naturally, he wishes for chaeya to play soccer as well. though, chaeya isn't very interested in the sport - he finds soccer is the only way his father will be proud of him. chaeya grows up with a slight resentment against ichirouta, and soccer.

personality;
+ as a child he was very quiet and refused to talk to people so long as they weren't his family. he was terribly shy, but as a teenager he isn't as afraid of others. frankly, it's almost if he doesn't have any fears at all.
+ he's interested in reading and drawing like his mother, chaeya's recent drawings are put on the fridge. when there's no more space, his mother puts the older ones away safely in a box. this leads him to often be the loner in class because he prefers to be by himself with a book.
+ chaeya is clearly biased, he loves his mother much more.
+ despite his rather intimidating appearance as a teenager, he's isn't genuinely rude or inconsiderate. while he is quite sarcastic and blunt, he doesn't mean any harm.
+ he gets very uncomfortable around girls that are friendly, he will often run away if they get too close. even still, he has respect for females and will protect any no matter what.
+ that being said, just like his mother, he knows how to fight and he will gladly do so - like mother like son, he refuses to hit a girl.
