Skate's up Part one: The beginning
Disclaimer: Fun fact dudes. This is actually a script for a pilot movie I'm making for a cartoon series I hope to make when I become a cartoon creator, and I decided to make it a story for now so you could see what it's like. Feel free to tell me what you think.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A black screen is shown with the voice of a young child being heard voicing over. "Hi there. You may not know me, but I know you're watching."
Two black feet was shown as the camera then rose up to the face of a dog/wolf hybrid, with a black body with a blue underbelly, as well as black on the top of his tail, which seemed to be the size of a normal tail for wolves, and blue on the bottom. He also had blue fur around his ears, as well as three small stars on the left side of his flank, with a big one centering his right eye; in addition to having three small spikes on his head, that weren't a mohawk, but were also visible.
The wolf was seen walking downtown while holding a blue skateboard with red stripes as his voice over continued; with him speaking with a free spirit, as well as having a friendly tone and somewhat cocky, yet good hearted, and adventure loving personality to boot. "And I don't blame you for being confused. I mean, a random dog and wolf hybrid walking on two legs with a skateboard? Pretty crazy, I know."
The wolf's world was then shown with a bunch of random stuff happening as the voice over continued. "But I don't live in any ordinary world. This has stuff from other universes, anime equipment, dogs, wolves, and all creatures alike aging in human years, and heck, we can even fly and shoot random lasers. I think that last thing I mentioned is connected to one of the universes in our multiverse."
The wolf was seen walking up to what looked like a Labrador about the same age as him. "My name's Scooter. (The Labrador is shown setting his watch) And the Labrador with the skull on his board, is my best friend, and rival, Skate."
Scooter set up his board at the edge of the sidewalk and adjusted his helmet, which had Sonic the Hedgehog on top of it; as well as some unique strap color. Red and green I believe. "And this is the pilot movie to my own cartoon series. This is gonna be so cool; I hope it gets aired!"
Scooter got ready as Skate set the timer, with Scooter turning to the audience and winking to them.
"Dude? (Scooter looks at Skate) Who're you winking to?" Skate asked with confusion.
"Just the people watching the movie." Scooter explained with free spirit. "Cmon, Skate; let's get this started."
"Alright, alright, no need to start a marathon." Skate snarked with a smirk.
Skate started his timer as Scooter skated off as a combination of both rock music and metal music played, with a male singer skating Skating is fine. "I get that I'm not like Batman, or even Tony Stark. (Scooter jumps over a fence) But that doesn't change the fact that I can have my arc. (Scooter skates around and through some cones) And even though, I never planned, to have this as a career. (Scooter jumps up and grabs onto a pole as he starts swinging on it) That doesn't mean, that I can't get, on with my own life here."
Scooter jumped off the ramp and skates through some large pipes as the song got harder. "I may not be extremely famous, but I don't need the fame! (Scooter jumps up and skates on top of a thin pipe) I may also wanna be somebody, but that is why it came! (Scooter grabs onto a rope and swings over some spikes, smiling with a sense of cockiness, as well as confidence) The event of Skate's up in this world, is something that I join! (Scooter lets go of the rope and starts skating on a wall) And I know the risk of what could happen, but I don't need a single coin."
Scooter jumped off of the wall and jumped off with his skateboard, covering the screen and cutting it to Skate. Skate was watching Scooter on his phone once the music went back to normal, amazed at how he was doing while speaking in a cocky, yet impressed voice. "No way. (Smirks) His skills are really showing off."
Scooter is seen dodging some lasers that Skate setup with precise movements, loving the time he was having. "Like I said. Not an ordinary world. And I love it!"
The singer continued at the original pace. "The world I live in isn't normal, but that's alright with me. (Scooter jumps over the last laser and skates onward) That just adds to all the action, that is present to be. (Scooter ducks under a pipe that flies at him and chuckles) And true I could get into danger, but that's basically the point. (Scooter nears the end as he jumps up and off of a bench) If life was nothing but safety, then it'd be a boring joint."
The music became the same amount of intense it did in the second verse with Scooter grinding on the fence. "Although it's not my choice of job, it's still a great time saver! (Scooter jumps off of a fence and off a sign as well) And I would say time waster but, that'd sound like I'm a hater! (Scooter laughs a bit at the corny line as he skates onward) And yes we just laughed at our line, as we got into a bine! (Skate sees Scooter nearing in at the finish and looks at his watch) And although it's not a career choice, skating isn't just for thugs, it's fine."
Scooter arrived at the finish and kicked his board up to him upon the last lyrics when stopping. "Skating, is, fine."
Scooter walked up to Skate with his board and held out his paw. "Pay up, Skate."
"Pssh. Fine." Skate pulled out his wallet and opened it up, pulling out a twenty and giving it to Scooter with a smirk. "You really are something, Scooter. I bet your family's really impressed with your talent."
Scooter got a sorrow thought and looked at the ground when leaning on the fence, with both paws behind his head; remembering a family member's hatred on skating. "Well...not exactly."
Skate became confused upon this remark, wondering what Scooter meant. "Whatya mean?"
Scooter sighed and grabbed his board, not wanting to talk about the scenario. "Let's just say that my dad had a hard time with skaters when he was my age." Skate nodded in understanding as Scooter then looked at his watch, seeing that it was about 5:30. "Anyway, I gotta head home, dude. See ya tomorrow?"
Scooter and Skate hi fived each other and then did a low five; followed by a fist bump and then two armpit farts. Scooter skated off with Skate watching him as he then gives off a smirk of cockiness, ready for the next challenge he could give to him. "Next time, Scooter, you won't get past the course I make. (Walks off) Tomorrow."
