Skate's up Part eleven: Mexican bonding
Scooter was seen blazing past one of the obstacles that Dante was talking about. He seemed to be excited for what the course had in store, even though he moved to the side and evades the obstacle with little effort. Good skills if I do say so myself. Scooter saw a row of flaming hoops and prepared himself for a blazing exit.
Scooter jumped through the first hoop and then wall jumped through the others, going through all of them with ease. He continued to skate onward as he then saw Skate behind him, knowing that he'd have to get serious if Skate did anything serious.
Skate arrived to where Scooter was and blew a raspberry at him to mess with him, giving Scooter a hint of frustration. Skate went on ahead with Scooter speeding him, hoping to beat Skate and get to the final round. The two of them started then ramming into each other with Skate then pulling out some marbles.
Scooter swated Skate's paw away and went on ahead, making Skate drop the marbles. The marbles went over the track and Skate sighed and continues onward, hoping to get to the finish before everyone else.
Scooter neared the finish line and prepared himself for the victory he was about to earn. Just then however, a spear suddenly pops up in front of Scooter and he dodged it, indicating that the obstecles could be rather dangerous if they wanted to. Scooter dodged all of the spears and even a swinging axe that came right for him.
Scooter admired the effort Dante put into the track, liking when someone gave their all, and skated even faster. Scooter arrived at the finish and kicked his board up, grabbing it and walking off. The other racers arrived as well with Skate and Nora making the top four.
Scooter walk up to the leaderboards and sees that he's the first to arrive. This excited the young wolf, as he knew it was an honor to get this far."Yes!"
Skate and Nora arrived at the leaderboards with Skate seeing that he made second. This was something he could easily brush off, as he still had one more chance to beat Scooter. "Still got one more chance to kick your butt. (Looks at Scooter) Have fun losing."
Skate headed off with Scooter sighing as Nora looked on at him in disgust, finding Skate's behavior to be utterly revolting. "He really knows how to tick people off."
Scooter and Nora walked off and Scooter got a text and took out his phone, wondering what it could be. Scooter took a liking to the text and put his phone away, glad that he recieved it. "Gotta bounce Nora."
Scooter skated off with a smile and Nora called out to him, not knowing exactly what he meant. "Have fun with whatever!" Nora walked on ahead and smiled glad to see Scooter happy and taking a guess at why he headed off so fast. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say he's about to get what he wanted."
Nora walked off and looked up to the sky, seeing stars surround it with glee. Nora started to wonder what she should do with her life, having never thought about it before. The kindness that Scooter showed her made her think about this, not expecting it at all.
Scene cuts to Nora looking over a cliff while thinking about what she should do for the future.
'Scooter's been so nice this entire time and I don't know why.' Nora thought to herself as she lied down. 'It's got me thinking though. What should I do with my life?'
Nora sighed, feeling as if she hasn't done anything to improve herself as soft guitar music played and she began singing "After the three days I've spent during this tournament. I've met someone who's gotten me to wonder. (Sits up) I've never thought about anything like this before. His kindness has gotten me to ponder."
Nora looked up to the sky and wondered what her life would've been like if her parents never divorced."Ever since my parents divorced I've been a lot of stuff. Cynical, cold, and confused, I just wish that was bluff. My sister and my mother must've been worried sick. Even if they don't show, it feels like some lame snick."
Nora looked into the water and started to wonder what her life chose for her. "I feel as if I serve no purpose at all within this world. With all of what can happen here in mind. It brings me the pain to know that my existence is worthless. It puts my heart into a painful bind."
Nora stood up and looked over the waters to see what she could find for herself. "I know there's much more for me to see. If only, I could find what's right for me. Even though I never considered, what I've felt with this strife. I've never felt anything like this in my life. But Scooter helped me see the importance of it. What should I do with my life?"
Nora picked up a rock and threw it up into the air a bit catching it when it came down. "What should I do with my life?" Nora threw the rock over the ledge and it lands at least ten feet from where she stood. Nora started to wonder if she could even do anything with her future, as she'd just become conflicted on it, so she never had any time.
Scene cuts to Scooter, Trip, and Eric at some sort of Mexican restaurant.
Scooter was seen gobbling down a taco as Eric chuckled softly as his son's messy eating. "I hardly ever notice how fast you eat. You must really love food."
"Who doesn't?" Scooter replied, and then he finished his burrito and lets out a small burp as he then grabbed his soda. "I guess you could say I'm a dog/wolf hybrid version of Goku from Dragon Ball. At least in the food loving department."
"That's one way to describe you." Trip added with a smile. "Especially after the eating contest back at home. You dominated that."
"It's just the way I am Trip." Scooter said with free spirit and then he had some of his soda with Eric taking a bite out of his tamale.
"Now sons, I know parents are supposed to be the most important one in their kids lives, and I just hope I could achieve that." Eric started off, hoping that his sons would understand that he's trying his best.
"Why do you think we wanna hang out with you so often?" Scooter asked, and Eric thought about his words for a moment, finding them to be intriguing. "Basically what I'm saying dad, is that even though you don't hang out with us every single day of the week, it'd be pretty hard to think you don't mean well. After all you DO work your butt off all the time to make us happy."
"I've actually tried my best to do that without spoiling you; it's why I let you join Skate's up." Eric replied, with a cheerful voice.
Scooter becoming surprised to hear his father saying this, not knowing his entire personality. Eric smiled and took another bite out of his tamale with Scooter smiling back. Scooter bit into his enchilada as he started to see his relationship with his father in a new light, and seeing the two of them grow. Trip started to see this as well, finding it great that they were getting along.
