Scooter and the other contestants were seen at the starting like as Scooter looked at his board. Nora noticed Scooter's observing and looked at the board as well, knowing what he was looking for. "Looking for mini robots?"

"Yep. After yesterday I can't take any more chances." Scooter stated with determination. "One more screw up like that and I could get eliminated entirely."

"Unless you make another rebound." Nora implied with confidence in Scooter. "Then you should be good to go."

Chapin came onto the screen and got ready to introduce the course. "Greetings remaining contestants. I am Chapin, and this will be your third race."

Skate seemed overconfident in his chances as he stuck his tongue out at Scooter. Scooter saw Skate's childish gesture and shook his head, ignoring it despite it annoying him. "Now then. I should let you all know that this course will have many loop-de-loops on it; meaning your skating skills have to be very precise. You might even see the eiffel tower during the race."

Nora took a liking to that last part, having never seen the eiffel tower before. Chapin then continued, however this time it was with upsetting news. "We should also note that we'll be having invisible drones flying over the arena, as the last couple races had some rather...brutal eliminations. Some of them were even stabbings."

The other contestants gave shocked reactions to this, showing that they were too focused on the tournament to know. Scooter looked over to Skate hoping that this was just a phase for the tournament. He then looked back on the other contestants, remembering the injuries they had. 

Chapin then counted down to begin the race. "3...2...1...(Scooter and the other contestants get ready)go!"

Scooter and the other contestants skated off, getting ready to win the third race. Scooter manageed to blaze into the top three, but was somehow unable to reach first place. He thought to himself about how this was possible. 'The other racers must've gotten some training done too. (Smiles) Good to know I can have some dedicated opponents.'

Scooter and the other contestants went through a loop-de-loop with Scooter kicking hard on the ground. He managed to get past the loop-de-loop, with Nora barely making it as well, being relieved that both she and Scooter made it through. Skate made it through the loop-de-loop along with the other contestants, making sure to lay low.

Scooter and the other contestants skated through some sort of dark area in the course, which surprised them all a great deal; even if it was also a bit cool to Scooter. Scooter and the other contestants found it hard to see until they exited the dark area, looking to the right and seeing the eiffel tower.

The sight of the eiffel tower is a beauty to behold, especially for Nora; she was amazed by the gaze of Paris itself, along with the amazing view the country had, with both the tower, and it's country. Scooter took a liking to the sight of the eiffel tower as well, feeling beauty and grace surrounding it. Skate skated up to Nora and gave a smug look as he spoke. "So Nora."

Nora looks at Skate and becomes cautious, pulling up her fist for protection, getting aggressive to keep her guard up. "Don't think I'm scared to get you eliminated Skate. Touch me OR Scooter and you're done for."

Scooter and the other contestants went through another loop-de-loop with Skate smirking. "Just don't get dizzy."

Skate pushed Nora off of her board, catching Scooter's attention as Nora screamed in fear. This was enough to bring fear to Scooter, as he cared deeply for Nora, despite the short time they've known each other. "Nora!" Scooter skated ahead as fast as he can, diving down and catching Nora just in time.

Nora stopped screaming and looked to see Scooter smiling at her, smiling back and seeming grateful for the save. Scooter backfliped over a fence, showing off his acrobatic skills with enjoyment, and managed to arrive at the finish, setting Nora down gently.

Nora found it hard to respond to Scooter, seeming as it's been a while since she acknowledged anyone's bravery; it made her a bit nervous to go soft again. "So. (Blushes) That happened."

"Heh. Yeah, I guess it did." Scooter gave a kind gesture to Nora, who gave Scooter a playful arm punch and ran off, with Scooter smiling and heading off as well.

Scooter and Nora walked up to the result screen, seeing that they were first and second to pass. Being excited upon this, the two hi fived, glad to see that they made it as far as they did; Scooter also couldn't help but state the pretty obvious. "And next up is the semi-finals."

One of the skaters skated up to Scooter, giving him a proud smile. "Yo dude." Scooter looks at the skater, who walks up to him with a chill voice. "You've been doing awesome this whole thing; I think you might even win." Scooter smiled upon the skater's encouragement, with the skater then worrying about Skate. "I heard you were friends with that Skate guy though. Make sure to keep the top four safe, cause...I think one of the contestants died."

Scooter became shocked by this but then gave a nod with determination, showing that he wouldn't let this slide if it was intentional. The skater nodded and skated off with Scooter not knowing what to say. "Out of all the things I've known Skate for, killing isn't one of them."

"You don't think he did it on purpose, do you?" Nora asked with a cold tone pointed at Skate.

"Of course not!" Scooter exclaimed as he turned to Nora. "Skate may be cocky but he's not a murderer."

Nora scoffed, not knowing Skate anywhere near as much as Scooter did. "Just know that if Ally becomes his next victim then I'll personally torture him."

Scooter nodded in slight shock, only to then hear Skate's voice. "So you managed to save the girl then?" Scooter sighed as Skate walked up to him with a smirk, feeling the need to brag again. "Why don't you two just-"

"Not now Skate." Scooter got serious and looked at Skate with concern. "Do you have any idea what's happening with the contestants?"

"Yeah; I stabbed a couple in the arm in the last race, got loads of them eliminated, and now I'm in the semi-finals, and no one can stop me." Skate stated, openly admitting to his crimes in the race without guilt.

"Except one of them possibly died!" Scooter's voice was much more serious than his usual kind hearted and caring self, showing that he wasn't taking this lightly.

Skate became shocked by this information, giving Scooter a look of disbelief. "What the heck are you talking about?"

"One of the skaters came up to us and told us that one of the contestants might have died." Scooter explained with a sorrow look. "We don't know if it's from your sabotage or what, but this is going way too far dude." Skate looked at his paw with regret and Scooter put his paws on his friends shoulders. "Look Skate. I won't rat on you, but I will if you keep this up. I know you're better than this."

Skate sighed and walked past Scooter, looking back at him with remorse. "Thanks dude."

Scooter nodded and then he walked over to a nearby pier, leaning on the fence and looking over the water. This whole race seemed to be affecting his chemistry with Skate, despite them being best friends for so long now. Nora walked over to Scooter and leaned on the fence next to him, looking at him with concern. "You doing okay?"

"I wish." Scooter sighed. "Skate could possibly be a murderer, intentional or otherwise."

"Well one thing's for sure that I don't trust him, but whether you do or not is up to you." Nora put her paw on Scooter's shoulder. "And I won't try to change that."

Scooter stood up straight, feeling bad for what could happen to Skate. "I don't know what to think now. Skate's never done any stabbing; just regular taunting."

Nora looked over at Paris and got an idea on how to make Scooter feel better, looking back at him with a smile. "You wanna get your mind off it? Our third song is about to come on." Scooter looked at Nora with confusion, and not just for the fourth wall break, with Nora grabbing his paw and walking off with him.
