A sunny hot day in Rome, Italy wasn't so calm as usual - Paw Patrol was on secret mission with CIA to find a thief of sercet data which may expose them for enemies. Chase was called to find and eliminate that guy personally, while other members should have cover him.

Chase: Whose was idea to keep that data in laptop at hotel??

CIA Agent: Well, it could be too obvious to keep at some private server or something similar!

Ryder: Nevermind, Chase did you find the guy?

Chase: In capital of Italy, where's a lot of people - mission Impossible!

Ryder though was sitting in secret basement far away from Rome, controlling the mission with other agents from CIA. Then he got called by Rocky, who spotted their target.

Rocky: Saw him! He's heading towards train station!

Everest: I'm going to pick up Chase!

Moments later the anthro Shepherd was sitting in SUV, which Everest was driving, chasing their target. Rocky already sent to everyone coordinates of train station, so all agents headed there - except Skye. She decided to be in backup squad, in case if Chase won't eliminate bad guy by himself. When they got to train station, all agents were there, checking every passenger on station, but there was no luck.

Zuma: No sign!

Ryder: Then check platforms!

Chase: On it, cover me Rocky.

Rocky: Roger!

Chase and Rocky quickly went to platforms, thinking that their target may enter the train already, they were looking around, until Rocky saw a man in grey suit, which was actually him. Chase also saw him and ran after man, taking his gun in his hands as Rocky did the same. However, the enemy was also armed and started shooting from SMG, making panic over rail station. Using this situation, he jumped on cargo train, which was heading away, gladly, one of CIA agents saw it.

CIA Agent: He's on top of the train!!

Chase: Got it!!

Rocky: Calling Skye for backup! Watch yourself!

Moments later, Chase managed to run up to train and get on it, other agents went back to their cars to start following the train. Skye also got the call about situation and drove from Paris to railway, on which the train will go.

Ryder: What's going on? 

Marshall: Chase and target are on train! Skye's coming to interrupt them!

Ryder: Alright, are you chasing the train too?

Zuma: Yes!

Ryder: Ok then, keep working!

During her drive, Skye was looking through map, where she can interrupt this train, and actually found one place - a high bridge over river. She then drove off from highway and went offroad.

Skye: I found a place where I can interrupt our target!

Ryder: We can see where're you going, good luck!

Meanwhile, Chase was going over roofs of train carriages, as his target was trying to espace from Paw Patrol member by same way. The anthro Shepherd was stronger and endurable, so it didn't take too much time and strength to get to target, but bad guy wasn't going to give up as he took his gun and shot at Chase. The bullet hit Chases' shoulder, but he didn't care as he started punching the man. While train was going, Skye managed to get to interruption point, take her rifle and aim at railway.

Skye: I'm on position!

CIA Agent: The train will be in 4 minutes!

4 minutes later

The train finally appeared at sight of Skye as she momentally saw two men fighting on top of train. The target wasn't so weak as it seemed and tried to strangle Chase. As soon as she saw them, she aimed at target. Other agents were also here in backup case.

Skye: I see the target! But in case, the shot is not clean!

Even if she could shoot right now, she couldn't - Skye may hit Chase, and as they were dating for 1,5 years, she wouldn't forgive herself for that. But her thoughts were ruined by Zuma.

Zuma: Skye, we may lose them! There's tunnel on other side of bridge!

Ryder: Skye, take the shot!

Skye quickly breathed in and put her aim marker on target, but fear of taking down her mate was holding her from pressing the trigger.

Rocky: Skye, take the shot, come on!!

Skye: I can't! I may hit Chase!!

When time was at critical state, Ryder didn't hold his nerves.

Ryder: Take the freaking shot!!!

This scream made her pull the trigger - and confirm her worst thoughts. The bullet missed the target and hit Chase, causing him to fall off the train and go down into river. But then the bad guy also got killed by CIA Agent, who also had sniper rifle.

CIA Agent: Job done, target is eliminated.

Ryder: Well done, Skye, what was that?

Skye was literally breathing heavily with quiet sobs coming from her mouth. It could be heard by her teammates, making them worried.

Zuma: All ok?

Skye: I hit Chase. *sobs* I am so sorry, guys. *sobs*

Her words made everyone stunned - her fears of taking the shot were understandable as Ryder put his head on table and wrapped it by his hands, blaming himself on taking too much pressure on his agent.

2 months later, Naples, Italy

Even despite coming autumn, it was still warm in Italy. Paw Patrol stayed there, waiting for Chases' body to bring it back to Adventure Bay and mourn their friend. It was a late evening as everyone were on their own in hotel before going to table with whiskey to remind their died friend. Skye was walking near that table, as she couldn't stop blaming herself for that shot - even despite all words of comfort from her friends.

Skye (to herself): If Chase was there, he would never forgive me.

Little did she knew, her mate was walking near her and heard her - before revealing himself, Chase, wearing his traditional blue suit, walked up to table, where his glass of whiskey was standing in center of table and took a sip from it.

Chase: It would be a little sour, if someone was reminded.

Skye literally couldn't believe it and turned around to see her boyfriend, smiling at her. Chase actually felt that she's concerned about him being real, so he spread his hands wide, inviting Skye for hug and she accepted it, shedding all tears she kept in herself for future. She let out her emotions on Chases' chest for 4 minutes, before looking at her mate.

Skye: Just one question - how?? How on Eath you managed to survive this?

Chase: My suit was armored. It managed to keep all my bones together.

Skye: Chasey, I'm terribly sorry for that shot! I was so nervous that I may take you down.

Chase: It's all ok. It was a risk and you took it - unlucky, that happens.

Skye: You actually don't know through what I went to act that calm.

Chase: Hmm, let me prove it.

Just when he said that, Skye felt his lips pressing against hers and she let herself go. They pulled each other closer to feel heat of their bodies more which was making her feel better, so she wrestled her tongue against Chases' and Chase didn't mind that. Soon they pulled out and hugged each other while catching their breath.

Chase: Feeling better?

Skye: Much much better. But...

Chase: Hm?

Skye: May you make a better shot at me? If you know what I mean.

Chase: Anything for you, dear. But let's hold it untill drinks will be over.

Skye just giggled and took her glass of whiskey, which she clinched with Chases' before having nice private time for whole evening. The end!
