Pups are anthros!!

A sunny day in Adventure Bay was coming to its' end, as schoolyear in Adventure Bay high was also ended and a huge dance party was organized. Everyone were enjoying the last day of school, and all students were in sportroom. Chase, Marshall, Rocky and Zuma were chatting with each other near table with drinks and their topic was girls. None of them had a girlfriend and they gave a promise that they'll ask a girl on slow dance and this girl should be asked out. More though, Chase was the one who offered it, so he was the first to make it. He actually found one girl, but he was just so inconfident.

DJ: Slow dance is coming in 3 minutes!!

Zuma: Alright, you're ready dude?

Chase: I guess so. I hope she hasn't been asked out.

Marshall: Calm down, it's just only first slow dance. There will be more.

Chase: Well, I still have only one chance.

Rocky: Don't dramatize it.

Chase: I don't! It's true!

2 minutes later, DJ announced that slow dance is about to start and Chase went to find Skye, who was on other side of hall. Gladly, he found her quickly and took a deep breath to ask her about main thing. However, thing went wrong.

Chase: Hey there!

Skye: Oh hi.

Chase: Listen, I was interested, maybe you could go for slow dance with me?

Skye: oh, I'm sorry, but I've got invited.

Chase: Ayy, alright. Sorry.

Skye: Maybe next time, don't worry.

35 minutes later

The school party was about to its' end, as final slow dance was coming. Chase, who arrived to party cheerful and confident was sitting on bench sad and desperate. During previous 2 slow dances, his friends managed to ask girls out, while Skye was invited by someone else. He really felt that it was it and hung his head down in defeat, not even hearing footsteps towards him.

Chase: Guys... leave me alone.

Skye: Ehh, there's no guys.

Chase: Huh?? Oh, hey. What are you up to?

Skye: Nothing, just saw you sitting here, thought that you need help.

Chase: Well... I wanted to ask one girl on dance, but looks like I lost all chances.

Skye: Let me guess - is it me?

Chase: Erm, yes.

Skye: Oh... get up then.

Chase: What? You'd love to?

Skye: Yeah, why not.

Chase: Alright!

They went to dance floor as DJ started final slow song and started dancing. His friends were watching it and felt excited and relieved at same time - he finally did it. Chase was holding Skye by her hand and her torso, as they were moving synchronically in dance. But little did he noticed, Skye leaned into him and completely enjoyed their dance. When Chase finally noticed it, he blushed a bit, but kept his emotions at bay and enjoyed the dance as well. Few moments later, the song has been ended and the party was over.

Chase: Wow, I really enjoyed it.

Skye: Hehe, me too. Thank you.

Chase: I think I'm the one who should say thank you.

Skye: Not at all though, I really hated to see you being sad to be honest.

Then Skye left as Chase stayed at same place, blushed and stunned from her words. This could be the thing he wanted for.

10 minutes later

Chase was on his way to home, where his parents were waiting for him. The sun almost came down as stars started appearing in sky, so he went a little bit faster. 7 minutes later, Chase arrived to his house, but suddenly saw Skye, who was standing in front of door.

Chase: Skye?

Skye: Oh, there you are!

Chase: What are you doing here?

Skye: Well, I actually forgot one thing to do and I needed you for that.

Chase: Why me?

Instead of answering, Skye gave him a small note and leaned to his ear.

Skye: Read it when you'll be laying on bed.

Then she winked at Chase, which made him blush and caused her to giggle as she walked away home. Still being intrigued, Chase went inside the house, took shower and went to sleep. But just like Skye said, he opened the note to see what she prepared for him.

Well, I think I found my half for eternal life. If you want to confirm my thoughts, meet me at my house tomorrow at 3:10 p.m. Skye <3

The next day Chase was standing against Skyes' house at time which she requested. He checked time on his watches - they were showing 3:10 p.m. That's when he heard door opening and Skye came out.

Chase: Hey.

Skye: Hi, glad that you came here.

Chase: Yeah, I read that note, just like you wanted.

Skye: Nice... Listen, I know you may ask me, why I sent you note. Remember that dance - I danced with two other boys, who didn't enjoy it, no passion. But you was opposite, I was very excited inside as we were dancing.

Chase: Heh. Well, I'm happy that I managed to... make you happy.

Skye: Thanks. Well, we know each other barely, but I think that we can be more than just friends... not now, but in close future. So, let's have a walk and get more info about ourselves.

Chase: I'm in! Let's go!

And that's how one dance managed to connect two people and create a way for a new couple. The end!
