This is a positive remake of the one shot "I need my opinion"!

Why does everyone like and respect Chase as a friend, as a teammate and even as a random person? Simple! He's always ready to help and make sure that everyone around Adventure Bay feels safe, comfortable and relaxed, he always respects the decisions of the others and more though, he can put their interests above his. He charges himself by making some simple but kind things to every people who needs help - that's why Ryder made the German Shepherd the second leader of Paw Patrol, that's why his friends adore him and appreciate his presence anywhere, anytime. 

Everyone was happy, having such caring police pup in the town and everything seemed okay, but one day, all citizents of Adventure Bay started acting pretty differently towards him. It all started from the talk between Mayor Goodway and Mister Porter at his cafe.

Mr.Porter: There you go, fresh corn for Chicaletta.

M.Goodway: Thank you so much! You don't know how much I needed this, now my Chicaletta will feel great.

Mr.Porter: I had a trouble of not delivering in time. But Chase offered a help and I managed to bring it in time.

M.Goodway: Speaking of him... I feel sorry for him.

Mr.Porter: Why?

M.Goodway: He always helps us, it's his duty - but I'm feeling that he appreciates our needs higher than his for too long.

Mr.Porter: Ahh, you mean he should also take care of himself.

M.Goodway: Not only him. We should!

Mr.Porter: How about you speak with Ryder about that? I bet he'll understand.

M.Goodway: Good idea!

10 minutes later

Chase has arrived from another mission and felt pretty tired so he asked Ryder for a nap and his owner couldn't disagree about that. Just when the German Shepherd was about to go, Mayor Goodway came up to them.

M.Goodway: Greetings to your mega helper.

Ryder: Hey, Mrs.Goodway, anything happened?

M.Goodway: Everything's completely ok. I came here to talk about Chase.

Chase: Really?

M.Goodway: Listen... the whole Adventure Bay highly appreciates your help to every citizen... but we think you're doing that by forgetting your own needs.

Chase: Erm... I was acutally driving for my own things many times. And then when somebody asks for help... I go and help. 

M.Goodway: I'm not trying to hurt you, but sometimes you also need to take care of yourself. To relax, have a drink or play with your friends.

Ryder: So what are you leading into?

M.Goodway: Chase needs some rest as a gratitude from Adventure Bay for his acts of help of every size. You helped us - we'll help you.

Chase: Oh... I don't know. The whole town, including Ryder and pups is my family, I can't leave them in danger.

Skye: Sorry, Chase, but Mayor's right.

Suddenly the trio turned around and saw the aviator pup who heard the talk and decided to join them. Ryder rolled his eyes in his mind as he knew that the Cockapoo had some feelings towards Chase so there was no surprise that she came up - still, it was a huge surprise for her crush.

Skye: I'm sorry for not telling that earlier Ryder, but Chase also helped us many times when we had problems. He clearly said many times that it's his priority to make us feel happy. So, please, Chase, let us make you feel safe and happy too.

M.Goodway: Aww... I'm speechless. 

Chase: Hmm... *looks at Skye and smiles* You're right. I was pretty afraid that you won't need my help anymore. But if my relax will make you happier, then ok!

M.Goodway: I'll repeat. You're doing this not only for us, but also for yourself. When you'll feel tired, is it going to be more difficult for you to help us?

Chase: Yes... shoot! How stupid I am!

Ryder: Hehe, don't feel sorry Chase, sometimes you can be so eager to help everyone that you forget about yourself. It's fine.

Chase: Ok, I'll take a nap... and cancel my another patrol for today.

M.Goodway: That's the stuff! Have a good day!

Skye: You too, Mayor Goodway!

Then the mayor walked away as Chase went to his puphouse and laid on his bed, making a deep sigh afterwards. But someone's nose on his neck caused him to look around and see Skye laying beside him.

Chase: All ok?

Skye: Yeah... just wanted to make sure that you feel good. You made sure that we will be ok, why won't we do the same for you?

Chase then smiled in his mind: seems like his helping cases made his bonds with his friends stronger especially with his crush. His thoughts though were interrupted as he felt Skyes' head pressing against his neck.

Skye: Mmm, you feel so soft when you're calm... I love it. *blushes*

Chase: *blushes* Heh, thank you. You're also soft by the way.

The longer he could feel Skyes' body against his, the more relaxing he was becoming. But the Cockapoo went further and started moving her paw along his chest, the German Shepherd at this moment smiled and decided to take their nap in a new level - by putting his crush on top of him. It caused both pups to blush but they liked that in fact. Ryder while walking with ball to other pups, spotted this view and smiled.

Ryder (thoughts): Happy to see that my pups can take care of each other... especially when they love each other deeply. I hope this time will come.

Then he kept going to the pups as Chase and Skye continued resting in Chases' puphouse, enjoying each others' presence.

2,5 hours later

Chase opened his eyes, and yawned before getting up and nudging Skye to wake her up as well - she did so few moments later, yawning and stretching herself.

Skye: Slept well?

Chase: Ohh yes. You?

Skye: Hehe, me too.

Chase: Hey, thanks for taking care of me.

Skye: I'll tell you one thing... you needed that for long time. *licks Chases' cheek*

Chase: *blushes* Oh... ok.

Skye (giggles and smiles): Don't be shy to ask me for more naps like that. I'm here to help you anytime!

Chase: Thanks! *licks Skyes' cheek*

The Cockapoo blushed but smiled at her future boyfriend as they walked out from Chases' puphouse to play with other pups. The end!
