Chase and Skye were walking through the valley, enjoying the warmth of rising sun. They actually arrived with Ryder and pups for a sleepover and the Police Pup was actually planned such trip to confess his feelings for her. However, he still didn't get nuts for this and was mentally cursing himself for that during their way back to Jake's safehouse.

Skye: Are you OK, Chase? You feel stressed.

Chase: Huh?? Oh... it's nothing, just reminding how tough the week was.

Skye: Heh, it really was. No wonder why Ryder decided to make such trip.

After few more steps, the Aviator pup was getting a bit tired - even despite being a very strong pup, her short legs were saying a bit otherwise. Chase noticed that and asked her about having a rest, but Skye refused - it wasn't that far to their destination point, so pups kept going. Few more minutes later, the Cockapoo spotted a cave - as Everest told her, it was a shortcut to get faster to Jake's house.

Skye: Let's go through the cave.

Chase: You sure?

Skye: Everest walked through it many times! 

Chase: And what if we will get trapped?

Skye: Oh come on, nothing bad will happen.

The German Shepherd rolled his eyes and followed his crush into the cave. The deeper were they going, the darker it was getting, so Chase used his pup-pack to activate the lighter. When they made half-way through the cave, it suddenly started rumbling for few seconds before stopping - it caused the Police pup to run straight to the entrance and find out that it was blocked. When he came back to report Skye about possible problem, he hear her gasping loudly and ran to her to confirm his worst fear - the exit of the cave was also blocked.

Chase: Oh man...

Skye: Jeez. What we're gonna do?

Chase: I'm afraid nothing.

Skye: What?!

Chase: There's no signal in cave. I've felt it before when exploring the cave with Jake before.

Such statement caused Skye to snuggle into the German Shepherd, making him blush, but also wrap his paw around the Aviator pup to calm her down.

30 minutes later, Jake's safehouse

Ryder, Jake and pups were already mega worried about Chase and Skye, who still didn't come back after their sunrise walk. So they quickly called all pups to check all the mountain to find out what happened to the duo.

Everest: I bet they didn't get lost. Chase asked me the best route where they can meet the sunrise during their stop.

Rocky: Do you remember this route?

Everest: Yep! We can follow through it.

Marshall: How about some of us will go from the end of this route and the rest will go from the beginning of the route?

Jake: That's pretty wise!

Everest: Agreed. Let's go!

15 more minutes later

Chase and Skye were still walking back and forth through the cave, waiting for their friends - the Aviator Pup actually felt pretty lonely when she walked further from the Police pup, so she quickly came back to see him walking in circles.

Skye: Chase? 

Chase: Yes?

Skye: I'm sorry.

Chase: For what?

Skye: For getting us in this cave. I was so eager to get back home.

Chase: And you mean by that you didn't like our morning walk, did you?

Skye: What? No no no! I really liked that... it's just I'm not used to such things you know.

Chase: Oh, ok.

Skye: Still... why did you ask that?? *raises an eyebrow*

Chase: Ehh...

Skye: And I also know that you were very eager to ask only me for this walk. *smiles*

Chase: Look, I'm-

Skye: You planned this walk for us, right?

Chase: Urgh, you got me.

The German Shepherd shyly smiled, still being pretty happy that she actually enjoyed their walk and hung his head down from embarrasment - only to feel her cheek against his, and see that both of them got painted into light red color from blush.

Skye: That was very sweet from you. Thanks.

Chase: Heh, no problem. Call me if you want to try this again.

Skye: With pleasure.

Marshall: Guys, is that you?!

Sudden voice from the Fire pup caused the lovebirds to snap out from trance and look around, Marshall's voice sounded so close to them, gladly, Chase's ears quickly tracked, from where did it sound, so trapped pups went to the blocked exit.

Chase: Marshall!! We're here!!!

Marshall: Oh nice!!! Rubble, bulldozer, now!!

Rubble: I'm on the double!

Marshall: Hang in the for few more minutes, we're going to get you out!

Chase: You made it pretty quick!

10 minutes later

Everyone were at the Jake's house, enjoying breakfast as Skye was telling the story of her morning walk with Chase and how did they got trapped in cave - of course she hid the fact of her recent romantic moment with the German Shepherd, or so she thought.

Everest: Well, we need to take some signs that this cave is forbidden to enter.

Jake: We can do it right now though.

Rocky: No problem! You can count on me!

Everest: Fine then. But still one thing bothers me.

Zuma: What?

Everest: When Chase and Skye got trapped... was he comforting her?

Chase: Well... I calmed her down, told her that you'll find us.

Everest: Nah nah! I meant like you were snuggling into each other, caressing each other. With hints of romance you know.

After hearing that, Chase and Skye groaned and blushed from embarrasment, causing everyone else to laugh. It was a rare thing to save not teammates, but also lovebirds at the same time. The end!
