Two days before Valentine's Day

Chase (thoughts): Finally! Finally, I found courage to ask Skye out and how lucky I decided about when I'm gonna do it. Only two days left before holiday of love. Wait, TWO DAYS?!

These thoughts made Chase scared. Only two days left before Valentine's day and he didn't prepare anything for Skye to impress her. More painful for Chase was fact, that he had a crush on Skye for a long time, since she joined Paw Patrol. For first time he wasn't only one person who fell in love on Cockapoo. Zuma also fell in love with her and managed to ask her out on Valentine's Day year ago. Luckily, she rejected it.

So Chase went from his puphouse to make a plan for upcoming holiday. When he was already walking on the bridge, an idea came up to his head.

Chase (thoughts): Bingo! I'm going to buy a ring and reserve a place in famous French restaurant. I know Skye likes French traditions, food and language.

With these thoughts Chase ran over the bridge to jewelery shop to buy a ring. Little did he know, all other pups except Skye were watching him on the top of the Lookout.

Marshall (happy): And there he goes our Romeo. To win Skyes heart!

Zuma: I hope he will be luckier than me. It's still painful to me that she rejected me year ago, but I'm glad that I moved on.

Rocky: I wish Chase good luck.

Rubble: Same with me Rocky!

Marshall and Zuma: Same with us!

Chase finally arrived to store and easily found the ring, which he wanted. Beautiful ring with pink diamond.

Chase: Hello. I want to buy a ring.

Store assistant: Which one?

Chase: With pink diamond please.

Store assistant: Nice choice. Since Valentine's Day is incoming, the ring is free for charge.

Chase: Wow, thanks!

Store assistant: You're welcome.

Chase exited jewelery store and went back to the Lookout. When he came back, he met Zuma and Rocky.

Rocky: Niiice ring! Is it for Skye?

Chase (blushes a little): Yeah! But don't tell her!

Zuma: Look at that! You didn't even blush, when we asked about Skye!

Rocky: Looks like our Romeo finally found courage to ask her out.

Chase: Definitely! Well I'm going to sleep. See you tomorrow!

Rocky and Zuma: See ya Chase!

One day before Valentine's Day

Chase woke up in good mood, because he knew what to do next to impress Skye and ask her out: French restaurant. Without thinking twice he ran to the place and suprisingly Skye saw him.

Skye (to herself): Where is he going? I bet he ran to prepare something for Valentine's day and... for somebody on this day. I wish, this person would be me!

Chase ran as fast as he could hoping not to lose time and arrived to the restaurant.

Waiter: Hello. What can I do for you?

Chase (pants): Wait a second, let me catch breath, phew! Well, I want to serve a table for tomorrow.

Waiter: How many persons?

Chase: Two persons.

Waiter: Ok. Let me guide you to your table.

The waiter guided Chase to table, where he and Skye will be sitting on their date tomorrow. When they came, the waiter put a sign 'reserved'.

Waiter: Restaurant wallet will guide you and your companion to your table.

Chase: Ok. Thank you!

Waiter: No problem. Happy Valentine's Day.
Note: Restaurant wallet is a guy who stays in front of restaurant doors and guides each customer to their tables.

Chase was happily walking to the Lookout, when he needed to cross the road. When green light appeared on crossroad traffic lights for Chase, he started walking cross the street. Unfortunately, a driver on the right was talking on the phone, didn't notice a red light for him and hit the pup. The most shocking thing, he didn't even stop. He continued driving, eventually over Chase, who was laying unconsicious. Alex saw it and ran to Chase.

Alex: Chase! Chase! Are you OK? (checking him) Oh my God (tears incoming). I need to call Paw Patrol!

At the Lookout Ryder was reading a book, when he heard his Pup-pad beeping.

Ryder: Hello, Ryder here.

Alex: Ryder, Ryder! You pup is down!

Ryder (worried): What you mean Alex?

Alex: Chase has been hit by car on crossroad!

Ryder (worried and shocked): What?! No job's too big, no pup's too small! 

Alex: Just visit him at Katies. I'm calling from there.

Ryder: Ok Alex. Thank you for help (presses the button on pup-pad). Paw Patrol to the lookout!

Pups: Ryder needs us!

They ran to elevator and waited for Marshall who tripped on tennis ball and crashed into others.

Marshall: Sorry guys. Guess I was too fast to arrive in time. (I'm quite bad on jokes. Sorry)

The rest of pups laughed, when the elevator was going up. They got in their uniforms and got into position.

Marshall: Paw Patrol ready for action Ryder, sir... Where's Chase?

Ryder (worried): That's the problem. Alex called me and told that Chase got hit by a car!

Pups: (gasp)

Rocky: Come on! Just before Valentine's Day!

Rubble: I caan't believe it!

Skye (worried): Is he gonna be OK?

Rocky and Zuma (turn to each other, whishper): Huh?

Ryder: I hope so, Skye (hears call sound), wait a moment. Hello?

Katie (sobs): Ryder. You need to come to me, fast!

Ryder: What's wrong?

Katie (sobs): I've just checked Chases condition. There's only bad news.

Ryder (shocked): Isn't he gonna make it?

Katie (stops sobbing): No. But chances to survive are very, very low.

Marshall: Please no! Chase doesn't deserve this!

Ryder: Ok pups (ends the call). We need to go to Pet parlour. No "Paw Patrol is on a roll" and... Marshall.

Marshall: Yeah?

Ryder: Get your EMT pack. You're gonna to help Chase if things are gonna be better.

Marshall: I'm fired up!

Ryder: Let's go!

They ran to Katie's Pet Parlour in no time. Katie met them at outside.

Katie: Ryder! Pups! Thanks for coming!

Zuma: Where's he?

Katie: Come with me.

She guided to Chase, who was laying in bed in bandages and connected to ALV.

Ryder: Can Marshall do something to improve the situation?

Katie: If you think so, let's try. Leave us alone.

20 minutes later, Marshall called Ryder and pups. He had tears in his eyes.

Marshall (sobs): Sorry Ryder. Chases conditon is very critical. We can't do nothing about that.

Ryder (sobs): It's OK. At least you tried.

Katie: I'm sorry Ryder (hugs him).

Rubble: I think... we should go. But first let's say goodbye to Chase.

Skye (serious): No, no and again no!! I'm staying here!

Marshall: Do you still believe, that he's gonna make it?

Skye: If you don't, I do!

Ryder (realizes the situation): Well (sigh), ok. Comeback to the Lookout, when you finish.

Skye: Thanks, Ryder.

Ryder and pups exited pet parlour, while Skye was staying with Chase. Katie noticed it.

Katie: Why you didn't go to the Lookout with others?

Skye: I hope, that this low chance of surviving will be real. Stupid hope I guess.

Katie: You know what, I'm also hoping. Inside of myself I believe he will wake up.

Skye: Can you leave me alone with Chase?

Katie: Sure. If you need somthing or notice something, call me.

Skye: Ok!

Katie went to another room and Skye jumped to Chase trying not to hurt him more. She nuzzled his cheek, when memories came back in her mind and she started talking to Chase.

Skye: I still remember some moments, which I shared with you. I kinda knew, that you had crush on me, but I thought, that you will never love a pup like me (starts to tear up), but these moments showed another.

*Flashback 1*

Chase: Well done, Skye. I was so worried about you... I mean, excellent flying.

Skye: (smiles).

*Flashback 2*

Chase: Yes, she's okay. She's okay?

Skye: Ohh, worried about me? (smiles)

Chase: What? No, no. I was happy for Chickaletta.

Skye (smiling): Thanks, Chase. That's really sweet.

*Flashbacks end*

Skye (sobbing and nuzzling Chases cheek): Doubts about thing, that you have a crush on me finally faded away, when we played tag, just you and me.

*Flashback 3*

Skye: Can't catch me Chase!

Chase: Oh, you're on!

Skye (stops and turns around worried): Where's he?

Chase (jumps from above and touches her nose): Gotcha hehe!

*Flashback stops*

Skye: I can't forget this moment. Your smile, your amazing amber eyes - everything was beautiful in you.

*Flashback continues*

Skye (does backflip and touches Chases nose): Gotcha! 

Chase and Skye: (laugh)

*Flashback ends*

Skye: If you will wake up, you need to know one thing - I have a crush on you too. I discovered that when I nuzzled you on Friendship's day. Your fur was so soft and warm (cries). I miss you Chase soo much! Please, pull through!

Because of tears, she couldn't talk anymore and fell asleep trying to calm herself down. The next day, she woke up and came to Katie.

Katie: Good morning Skye. I heard you're talking to someone.

Skye: Good morining (yawns). I talked to Chase, trying to wake him up. 

Katie: O-ok. Let me check him. Wait here.

Skye: Ok.

Suddenly...

Katie (excited): Skye! Come here! Chase is going to wake up!

Skye: What? I'm coming!

She ran to Katie and noticed Chase stirring in bed, when he slowly opened his eyes with groan.

Chase: Oww! My head! W-w-what happened?

Katie: You miraculoslly surivied in car accindent, that's what happened!

Chase: Let me remember... Ah, yes. Crossroad, a driver who was talking to phone without noticing me... (angry and frustrated) Ohhh! He's gonna get what he deserved!

Katie: Whoa whoa Chase! Slow down! You need to recover. Sure your condition is stabilized in good way, but you still need to recover.

Chase: How long?

Katie: Just few hours!

Chase (sees somthing on calendar): Oh no! It's Valentine's Day today! And I'm here not prepared. I guess I need to cancel my plans (sad).

Skye: Or maybe not!

Chase: Skye?

Skye (jumps on his bed and hugs him, pressing her forehead againist his): I missed you Chase! I knew you will make it!

Chase (suprised and does the same thing as Skye): I missed you too Skye!

Katie: Awwww! Sooo cuuute! Are you two a couple?

Chase and Skye (shocked): Ehh, no!

Katie: I hope you will become so! I'm gonna call Ryder!

Chase: Ok.

Katie went to her phone to call Ryder, leaving Chase and Skye alone.

Chase (thoughts): If she said, that I shouldn't deny my plans for today, maybe I should invite her on the date. It's now or never!

Chase: Skye.

Skye: Yes Chasey... Chase?

Chase (giggles): Like that nickname. So, would you like to go on (takes a big breath) date with me?

Skye (excited): Of course I want! Soooo, when and where?

Chase: 18:00 at new French restaurant.

Skye: I would love to!

Then she did the most unexpected! She kissed his cheek by her nose.

Skye: See you at the Lookout!

Chase: See you too.

Skye exited pet parlour and ran to the Lookout to prepare herself for the date. Chase was greeeted by Ryder, who was mega happy to see that his pup was alive due to hard condition. 1 hour later Chase got back to the Lookout, where everyone cheered for him.

Chase: Thanks guys. I appreciate that! But I have plans for today so...

Marshall: It's okay, buddy!

Rocky: Have a nice time with your Valentine (winks to Zuma).

Zuma: Exactly (winks back to Rocky).

Chase: Haha, Ok. Have fun!

Chase went into his puphouse to prepare himself to the date. When clock showed 17:40, he was ready! He went out from his puphouse and walked to the restaurant. He was wearing a beautiful sea blue tuxedo with tie. He also took a ring for Skye. When Chase arrived to the entry of place he was shocked to see Skye (correctly to say, what she was wearing). Skye was in amazing lightpink dress with flower behind her right ear.

Chase: You... look... phenomenal, no, perfect!

Skye: Thank you very much. Same about you.

Chase: Shall we enter?

Skye: We shall.

They headed to the entry and Skye saw one thing.

Skye: Are you sure there are empty seats for us? 

Chase: I solved this. Don't worry.

Wallet: Hello. Did you reserve your table

Chase: Sure. Table for two persons.

Wallet: I see. For Chase and partner.

Skye: Did you serve the table?

Chase: Before car accident actually.

Skye (smiles): Heh. Now makes sense.

Wallet: Come with me. I'll guide you to your table.

He guided them to reserved table, where they seat and enjoyed the meal.

Skye: Mmmm, I like this food!

Chase: I knew you're gonna enjoy it.

Skye: How?

Chase: You like everything about France. It's easy to guess, when we are hanging out with Francois.

Skye: Oh, yeah, right. 

Waiter: Did you finish?

Chase: Yep.

Waiter: Since it's Valentine's Day, all meal is on charge of restaurant.

Chase: Thank you. Come on, let's go to the park.

Skye: Let's go.

They exited the restaurant and headed to the park and watched the sunset. Then Skye decided to put her head on Chases shoulder. 

Chase (thoughts): It's time!

Chase: Skye?

Skye: Yes Chase?

Chase: I've got a question for you.

Skye: What is it?

Chase: Look, all this thing about date is not because for holiday of love or hanging out with you. Skye, would you like to go out with me?

Skye: Oh... my... Gosh!

Chase: I'll take it as a yes, right?

Skye: Correct! (hugs him) I waited for that for so long time!

Chase: Hehe. Also (gets the ring from pocket), it's for you.

Skye: It's so... beautiful. Thanks Chase!

Chase (sighs): I love you.

Skye: I love you too.

They got closer and closer and shared their first kiss. When the new couple ended this thing, Chase put his paw on Skyes and watched the sunset.

Skye: Best Valentine's Day in my life, Chasey.

Chase: Mine too, mine too. You know what?

Skye: What?

Chase: Thanks for being with me, when I was in critical condition.

Skye: You're welcome. You always was there for me, all the time.

They rubbed their noses under the sunset and other pups were watching this cheering for both of them. The end!
