Two days before Skyes brithday

Chase was controlling the preparations for the party for his girlfriend Skye. She flew to her flying event as an early present from him, Ryder and Ace and should be back in two days, just in her birthday. Previous two days Chase was preparing a plan for this event and getting things for the party like baloons, birthday tapes, food, music and a place for party, following the plan of course. Now he with Ryder and pups were decorating the place with birthday tapes and baloons.

Chase: Well, we need also a scene for Rubble and his DJ equipment.

Rocky: I'm already doing it.

Rubble: And my equipment is staying outside. Ready to bring it in.

Chase: Nice. Marshall, what about presents?

Marshall: In special secret place. Come with me.

Chase went with Marshall to the secret place, which was a big present box covered in pink colour with numbers 04 on it.

Chase: Hah. I like it.

Marshall: Like one big present is our presents for her! Got it?

Chase: Yeah. Good creativity buddy.

Ryder: Chase, we are done with preparations. Everything is ready.

Chase: Woow! It looks amazing. Thanks Ryder.

Ryder: You're welcome Chase. Now let's go back to the Lookout. We need to sleep.

Pups: Ok Ryder.

Everybody drove to the Lookout and went to sleep.

1 day before Skyes birthday

Chase was happily singing while driving in his cruiser. Everything was prepared for tomorrow party. Well, almost everything. Rubble ordered a big cake with chocolate and raspberry mix taste. And today it was ready to bring it in for the party. Chase arrived to baker store and saw a big glass box with cake inside. Then baker approached the pup.

Baker: Mr.Chase?

Chase: Yeah?

Baker: Do you see the box with cake?

Chase: Oh, so this is my order right?

Baker: Yup. No need to paid. Ryder did it already.

Chase: Oh, thanks.

Baker: You're welcome. Have a good day.

Chase: Thanks. Ruff, hook!

A hook appeared from Chases cruiser, which he put on trailer with box on it. Then he slowly started the engine and drove to the place of the party. 3 minutes later he arrived to the place. Marshall, Rubble, Rocky and Ryder were aldready waiting for him. As first two guys saw the cake, they panted with their tongues out because of view of this cake and imagination of taste.

Rocky: Come on Chase. Just open this box and I'll lift it up to the place!

Chase did so and Rocky did his thing by his cruiser: he lifted up a cake with his forklift and brought it inside. He did it as slow as he could, otherwise cake will be ruined. Luckily, Rocky made it. Chase sighed relievedly adn wiped off sweat on his forehead.

Marshall: So, everything is prepared, right?

Chase: Let me check (checks his list), yes! We are ready!

Pups: (howl)

Ryder: Great job pups.

Now they were ready to go back to the Lookout and rest a little, but unexpectetdly, Callie entered the room and saw the cake. Giggling in anticipation she tried to gety a piece sneakily, but then she heard this.

Chase: A-a-a-choo!

This strong sneeze caused the spoon on table fly off, ricoschette from wall, cutting birthday tapes, which fell down. Then it ricoschetted from another wall and stuck in cake, which also fell down. Moments before it was a perfect place for party, now it's a full mess with small chances of recovery. Callie realized that was her fault to get there, because Chase had allergie on cats and ran away. Chase by himself couldn't believe: two days of hard work and preparations were thrown in trash by his sneeze. Not knowing what to say, he just went to his cruiser and drove away.

Marshall: Well done Chase!

Rubble: It wasn't his fault. Callie has entered our place without noticing. And you know about his allergie.

Marshall: Oops. My fault. Sorry bud... dy? Where is he?

Chase was crying in his puphouse blamin himself on ruining his suprise to Skye.

Chase (crying): So that's how it works. You're working hard and trying everything to imress your beloved one and make her feel happy and then you're ruining all by stupid sneeze. Why did I even decided to date her? I don't deserve her. As she doesn't deserve me!

He found a blade near his bed and started cutting himself all night. Little did he know, pups and Ryder recovered all mess, so party was saved!

16 hours later 

Skye (to herself): Ahhh, it's good to be back home! And it's my birthday today. Hope guys were prepared something for my special day. Especially Chasey. I brought him a present from airshow like 'thanks' for this.

She exited the airport got in her helicpoter and flew to the Lookout, when sunddenly she saw a sign "Skye, over here". She decided to check and lended near sign and saw the door open. When Skye entered the building it was quite dark inside.

Skye: Is anyone there?

Everyone: SUPRISE!!!

Skye: Woah! (laughs)

Ryder: Happy birthday my aviator pup!

Everest: Happy birthday bestie!!

Skye: Thank you soooo much!! It looks soo beaultiful. Including cake!

Mr.Porter: Thanks to my new friends from bakery. They did it.

Zuma: But mostly it was all Chases job. Decorations, music, cake: it's all his plan!

Skye: Awww it's so caring from him... wait! Where is he?

Pups (nervous): Errr...

Rubble: Well... Chase sneezed because of Caliie and ruined everything. Then he drove back to the Lookout and stayed in his puphouse. Just a day before your birthday.

Skye: Yesterday, right?

Rocky: Yep. But we with Mr.Porter managed to recover it until midnight!

Skye: I see. Still, I need to check on Chase. Then we will celebrate alright?

Ryder: No problem.

Skye flew to the Lookout and landed near Chases puphouse. When she got off and came closer she heard that someone's crying.

Skye: Chase? What happened? Open up please!

Chase (crying): Skye? Go away please. I ruined everything I prepared for you. I didn't deserve you. 

Skye: You didn't ruined everything! And why you didn't deserve me? Open up!!

Chase (crying): I'm just a failure, who can't make his girlfriend happy.

Knowing that Chase won't open the door, Skye decided to open up by herself and she did it. But when Skye opened the door, she became terrified: Chase was holding a blade and his paws were covered in cuts. His eyes were completely red of tears.

Skye: Don't do this!! (throws herself on Chase and threw off blade) 

Chase (crying): Why? I ruined my present for you!

Skye (hugs him): Stop telling about bad things about yourself, please.

Chase (crying): I'm already making you feel bad in your birthday.

Skye (hugging him): No you're not! (looks at Chase and nuzzles him) Why did you do this?

Chase (sobbing): I prepared a birthday party for you. Made a list, prepared an equipment for this. Even cake! But when I delivered the cake I sneezed because of Callie and in one moment eveything had destoryed. It was completely my fault, because of my allergy on cats.

Skye (hugging him tighter): Hey hey. Calm down please. Ryder and pups fixed everything.

Chase (sobbing): But it's still my fault.

Skye (hugging him): Look at me Chase, please.

Chase lifted his head to see Skye as she got closer to him and pressed her forehead againist his.

Skye (hugging him): Look. Pups told me that it was your plan for my birthday. It's really amazing that you planned this to last thing. Finding decorations, cake and also music. By this you proved that you really care for me like for your girlfriend. And it really makes me happy. Ruining sneeze was just an accident.

Chase: You... You aren't mad?

Skye: Of course not! Why I should be angry at pup who booked at ticket for my favourite air show just for impressing me more (nuzzles Chases face).

Chase: Well... I'm still sorry for making you worried about me (nuzzles Skye back).

Skye (nuzzling him): It's fine.

Chase (nuzzling Skye): I've missed you... so much (hugs her).

Skye (nuzzling him): I've missed you too (looks at him and kisses him). Thank you for surprise. I love you...

Chase (hugging and nuzzling her): ...no matter what. I love you too. No matter what.

Skye (licks Chases chest): Let's go to the party. Otherwise we will miss the cake. After the party we can have a little fun in my puphouse. Like... make-out session of you want.

Chase: I'd love to. Let's go. And hey!

Skye: Yeah?

Chase: You always make me happy. And that's why I love you even more than before.

Skye (licks Chases nose): You're welcome Chasey. 

Chase: Jump on my back. I'll deliver you to the party.

Skye: Yaay! (jumps on Chases back and rubs his neck) Let's go Chasey!

Chase: Here we go! Keep tight!

They ran to the party feeling happy with each other. The end!
