A night came over in Adventure Bay as Paw Patrol was heading to well-deserved sleep and rest. For two pups, it was the first night when they'll sleep together, in one puphouse. Chase and Skye were a couple already for a month, but slept in each others puphouses respectively. And tonight, Ryder finally allowed them to sleep together, since they proved that they can focus on missions while having a relationship, which was very important for 10-year old boy. Ryder and pups wished each other a good night and went to their puphouses to sleep. However Chase stopped at entrance and glanced at Skye.

Chase: Skye. Where're you going? We'll sleep in my puphouse.

Skye: Oh yeah! I kinda forgot about it. Let's go.

The couple went to Chases' puphouse, looking at clean night sky, which was filled by stars. It didn't take much time to them to get to puphouse, since it was very close to Lookout main door. As they stopped at his puphouse, Chase barked and door has opened.

Chase: Ladies first.

Skye: My pleasure.

She entered his puphouse to feel that she was a little bit less than half of puphouse size, which made Chase came up to her and wrap his paw around her.

Chase: Don't worry, I'm here so you can feel comfortable here.

Then he started preparing his bed for sleeping as Skye looked at interier of Chases' puphouse: there were his favourite toy, a butterfly tie, which he wore in Barkinburg and many photos with himself and Ryder, himself and Marshall and also himself with Skye as well, which made her smile. But then she saw a photo, which made her start giggling uncontrollably and made Chase confused, but quickly realize what made her giggle: a photo with him wearing Skyes' bathing cap.

Skye (giggles): I see, you kinda knew that you'll give me my cap back as we'll become a thing right?

Chase: Ehhh, sort of, hehe.

Skye (giggles): You really look cute with it.

Chase: Heh, thanks. By the way, the bed is ready.

Skye laid beside Chase, snuggling into his warm fur as Chase pulled himself closer to her. Then he turned lights off.

Chase: Night Skye.

Skye: Night Chasey.

40 minutes later

Chase just couldn't fall asleep as he was thinking about one thing: in all difficult situations and missions, where he and Skye were used, she always ran to him to snuggle into his body to find some comfort. He knew that Skye likes snuggling into him, but as he thought, it wasn't the only reason of it. During his thinking time, he stirred and moved in his bed, which caused Skye to wake up as well.

Skye: What's wrong?

Chase: I was just... thinking about something.

Skye: Care to tell me your thoughts?

Chase: Well, I was actually thinking about you.

Skye (smiles): Really?

Chase: I mean, I know that you love to snuggle into me.

Skye: That's right. Because you're so fluffy and warm (nuzzles Chase).

Chase (nuzzles Skye): Still, I think that something else gives you a reason to do it.

Skye: Like what?

Chase: Like... feeling safe.

Skye then gasped in her mind, because Chase got straight in the point. She suddenly reminded the day, when she met Chase, being a stray. All these memories caused her to snuggle into the German Shepherd deeper, making him giggle quietly.

Chase: Looks like I guessed, didn't I?

Skye: Yes, you did. Remember the day when I met you?

Chase: Of course!

Flashback

Skye was walking along street completely soacked as rain kept pouring on her. She felt freezing a little as her eyes kept looking at nearby shelter, but no luck. Skye got abandoned by her owners as they tried to sell her, but she overheard it and ran away. As she kept walking, some cars drove nearby and splashed her, making Skye jump away and shiver even more. Suddenly she heard a pup shouting, who was close to her, so Skye followed to sound. Moments later she found a German Shepherd in police uniform and megaphone on.

Skye (shivering): Execuse me.

Chase (turns around): Huh? Oh, hey little pup. What are you doing here?

Skye (shivering): I don't know where I am, what's this place?

Chase: You're in Adventure Bay. Where're your owners?

Skye (shivering): They wanted to sell me, but I ran away from them.

Chase: Oh Christ! Alright, you'll come with me, I have an owner, who'll help you.

Skye (shivering): Really?

Chase: Of course!

Skye (shivering): Thanks so much... ehhh...

Chase: Chase, I'm Chase. 

Skye (shivering): I'm Skye.

Chase: Jeez, you're so soaking, here.

Chase unzipped his uniform and Skye got very close to him. As she felt his fur against hers', Skye snuggled into him as Chase noticed that and blushed lightly. Then he put her on his back, zipped his uniform back and walked back to Lookout.

Flashback end

Chase: Hehe. I felt something warm as you snuggled into me.

Skye: I know. And that's why I realized that you were quite special to me.

Chase: Glad that I am.

Then Chase and Skye looked at each other and pressed their foreheads and rubbed their noses as Skye rubbed Chases' back by her tail. Then Chase gave her a lick on cheek and carefully laid around her, so she curled in ball.

Chase: Good night Skye. I love you.

Skye: Love you too Chasey, good night.

Then the couple finally fell asleep. The end!
