Request for FritsAlone

Paw Patrol was on another mission in very tough conditions - heavy rain with strong wind. They needed to save lost tourists, who lost all of their hiking equipment due to wind and now they needed to be brought to warm and safe place right now. Chase, Skye, Marshall and Zuma were called for this mission and you'd immideately ask: why Zuma was called? The Labrador was called in case if some tourists might go finding their equipment and fall down in the river. Chase and Skye were searching through the forest and Marshall was getting ready for medical assistance.

Ryder: I knew that you're amazing pups, but being that confident through this storm - happy to see you growing up that much!

Chase: Thanks for appreciation, but let's focus on tourists!

Ryder: I still want to support you, somehow!

Chase: Ok then, sorry!

Skye: No worries, we'll get through this together.

"Together" - that was the word which was triggering Chase's mind for last couple of months. Since they were growing up, they started developing some romantical instincts and of course, the German Shepherd's feelings were all focused on their aviator pup. He wanted to spend time together with her, not only for few minutes or hours - he wanted to spend time with her for the rest of his life, and yet he couldn't say three simple words to make it real. Quickly shaking these thoughts off, Chase kept searching for their tourists. The Cockapoo though was quicker with this and managed to find them first. Chase's drone, seeing Skye's copter flew towards her and also found hikers.

Chase: Ryder, sending you coordinates of the hikers. Can you see them?

Ryder: Yep, coming to you shortly!

Chase sighed in relief, knowing that their mission was almost over and soon they'll be sitting back at the Lookout and drinking some hot tea, enjoying it's warmness. Suddenly, another gust of strong wind forced the police pup to sit tight in his cruier so he woulnd't fall off, but the next thing that he heard caused his heart to drop.

Skye: Mayday, mayday!! Wind's too strong!!! Falling down!!

Skye actually managed to jump out from her helicopter, but the wind didn't let to activate her wings and she fell through the branches on the ground. She groaned from massive pain all over her body because the fell was really rough, but what was most shocking for her that her puptag somehow didn't broke. The aviator pup didn't realize it at first, but Chase's worrying voice made her realize that.

Chase: Skye!! Please, respond, you're ok??! I'm coming for you!!

Skye (in pain): I'm ok... please come...

Skye couldn't finish her message because she suddenly heard multiple howls which meant nothing good. Everest and Jake told before about wild wolfes which were living around the forest and those wolfes weren't the same which pups saved a long time ago. The Cockapoo started praying that Chase would arrive as soon as possible. Little did she knew, the German Shepherd heard a slight sound of howls and sped up towards the location, where Skye lost her helicopter.

3 minutes later

Skye tried to get up on her paws, but her body was so bruised and wounded from her falling that she couldn't move. Then, to her fear, few wolfes arrived to her, growling quietly - it felt like they were satisfied by what they found. Tears appeared in aviator's eyes as she prayed for Chase to come - and her prayers were heard as she heard sirens and saw Chase's cruiser. The police pup saw all the picture and gulped heavily as he realized that his rescue of his teammate and possibly his mate will be very dangerous. But still, Chase jumped out of his cruiser and walked in front of Skye, growling intensively at wild wolfes. For next 4-5 minutes, the aviator pup watched in horror at her teammate and secret crush who was fighting desperately with wolfes, scratching, biting and hurting them a lot. Of course, they wounded the police pup as well, but after realizing that he'll fight until his death, wolfes gave up and ran away. Chase waited a little to make sure that they won't come back and turned around to come to Skye, who found extra strength to hug him.

Skye (in pain): Thanks... Just be with me... I was scared... 

Chase: Shhh, it's ok. I'm here *grunts* It's over now.

The German Shepherd decided not to get sick because of the rain and carefully put Skye on his back, walked back to their cruiser and got in, before going back to Ryder, who called them just in time.

Ryder: Chase!! Where have you been? I can see smoke!! Where's Skye?!

Chase: Skye's with me. Her heli is destroyed. We're ok, coming to Jake's cabin.

Ryder: Thank God!! Alright, see you there.

10 minutes later

Hikers were saved, Ryder and pups were at Jake's cabin, getting dried off from the rain. Marshall finished checking on Chase and Skye and came back to his owner.

Marshall: All of their wounds are treated. Thankfully, they're not critical, now they just need to rest.

Ryder: Nice job pups. Let's stay here and go back when the rain ends.

2 minutes later

Skye and Chase finally got alone, laying under one big, warm blanket and on one bean bag. She carefully touched Chase's bandaged wounds as he looked at her with sympathy.

Skye: Thanks for saving me, I thought I was a dead meat to them.

Chase: Anytime... I just couldn't let you die, I care a lot about you.

He said that with a slight blush, causing the aviator pup to smile warmly, knowing what did those words meant.

Skye: So, I guess you found your half to spend the rest of your life with?

Chase: What?

Skye: Oh, please *giggles* Just say it, come on.

Chase: *sigh* I love you... I really really love you (smiles shyly).

Skye: I love you too my brave pup.

The newly formed couple happily nuzzled each other, enjoying warmth of their bodies which caused them to cuddle closer. It was truly the best end of the mission with double danger. The end!
