Several months later

It's been a very long time since Chase left Paw Patrol for their better own and Archie took his place in team. The German Shepherd thought that things for his former team will be better without him, and for his happiness, he became a K-9 unit and already participated in few missions. However, one of them was in Adventure Bay, where Chase didn't want to go - he promised himself that he won't come back. His chief though decided to talk with German Shepherd and that's when he told about whole story.

Chief: Kinda understand your reason, but you quite wrong about not coming back.

Chase: Huh? Why?

Chief: You sure that they won't be happy if you come back?

Chase: Yes! Archie does my job much better in Paw Patrol.

Chief: Then... why you're working in K-9 if Archie works better than you?

This made Chase pale, he didn't even think about it. Only best of the best police pups were working in this elite group and German Shepherd proved that he was one of the best. His chief noticed that Chase hung his head down and kneeled to pet him.

Chief: Did you change your mind?

Chase: Still need to think about it. But I'll go on mission.

Chief (smiles): Atta boy. Let's go!

5 hours later

This mission was actually protecting Adventure Bay during huge party because today it was the day of owning Adventure Bay. Ryder and pups, knowing that it'll be too hard to make sure that party will go safely, requested Mayor Goodway for assistance. She accepted the request and called K-9 for this. Paw Patrol was doing surely good on missions with Archie as he was a great leader as Chase. Still... they missed their friend so much, even Skye, who finally realized that Chases' words about leaving the team months ago weren't a joke. And after realizing this, her relationship with Archie went down - they were rarely going on date, or hanging out together.

Skye (sighs): With Chase, this party was much much better.

Zuma: Really? You told before that with Archie it'll be even better.

Skye: I really don't know what caused me to say it.

Rocky: Listen. Many people talked about K-9 which will secure this party. Some of them said that Chase is in this group.

Everest: Really?

Skye: I don't believe you! He promised that he won't come back to us!

Zuma: Maybe his chief begged him for that, who knows.

Meanwhile, Chase was walking through his sector of party to make sure that there's nothing wrong was going on. People around him were dancing, talking, eating and drinking and didn't care about familiar pup in different suit. Untill - a familar pup spotted Chase.

Archie: Wait... Chase?

Chase: Well, hello. Any help?

Archie: No. Just can't believe you arrived!

Chase: Listen, I'm here to work, not to talk about past.

Archie: Ok then. Good luck.

Chase: Thanks, have fun.

Archie then walked away from German Shepherd a little bit disappointed. Chase wasn't even interested about him, his former team and his friends. It felt like he threw them away in trash can, but still, the Australian Shepherd didn't want to tell about it. Few minutes later, Chase finished checking his sector and got instruction to start checking the next one. And just when he arrived there...

???: Well well well! Who I can see!!

Chase: Crap!

The german shepherd started running away from party as he was being chased by Skye, who accidentally saw him, even despite wearing K-9 uniform. Two pups were running for few minutes, untill Skye lost sight of him and stopped to catch the breath.

Skye: Come on Chase! I just want to talk! Chase!! Chase!!!

Moments later, Chase walked back to her, standing few meters away from her, face to face.

Chase: Go on quickly! I need to secure the party.

Skye: Since when your work got that important?

Chase: Since moment you dumped me Skye!

Skye sighed in defeat as Chase was right. She truly dumped him, but Chase kept going on her without boundaries.

Chase: You forced me to go away. You have your boyfriend as a team member! What else do you need?

Skye: You!

Chase: Never!! I gave a promise!

Skye: And broke the promise that you won't leave me no matter what?!

Chase: You broke this promise!!

Archie: Guys!! Stop!!

Chase and Skye stopped talking as they noticed Archie coming towards them, which was a huge relief for German Shepherd... or so he thought.

Chase: Man! Take her away from me, I need to work!

Archie: No! I broke your relationship, it's up to me to fix this!!

Chase: Archie, there's no need.

Archie: Listen! We all know that you don't want to return. But Skye hoped that she'll see you in one time.

Chase: Well, she saw me, happy?

Archie: No! Too cold reunion. So please... come back for her.

Chase: For Skye?

Skye: I missed you Chase, really. But I didn't expect that you'll try to avoid me all time.

Chase then thought hard and long about his decision, while Archie told Skye by gestures that they're not in relationship anymore and she nodded with little smile... which grew up even more as Chase finally said his decision.

Chase: Alright. I promised Skye that I'll never leave her and-

He didn't finish as Skye hugged him tightly and nuzzed his neck, which made Archie smile as Chase also hugged his girlfriend once again.

Chase: Archie?

Archie: Yeah?

Chase: Thanks for looking after her.

Archie: You're welcome. Buddies?

Chase: For sure!

And that was such a happy ending to party, with Chase being reunited with Skye in relationship and becoming good friends with Archie. K-9 chief and Ryder agreed that they'll work together as Archie will lead Paw Patrol and Chase will lead K-9 group. Nothing could be better than this. The end!
