Alright guys! Since you really enjoyed reading one-shot "Alone" I decided to do kind of sequel or spin-off, call it as you want or see. It will be quite short, but I hope you will enjoy it!

It was rainy day in Adventure Bay, everyone were sitting in their houses, including Paw Patrol, who returned back from their vacation in Egypt just a week ago. Rainy weather was included with not so warm temperature on street, so it was easy to catch cold and that's why nobody went for walk or something like this. For pups it was the best moment to enjoy some time with their halfes. Yup, all pups wer having a boyfriend or a girlfriend: Rocky with Tundra, who was Everests cousin, Rubble made Sweetie good, so in sign of present she decided to become his mate, Zuma was dating with Ella, whose brother made bonds with Everest, Skye was dating Marshall, Tracker found some feelings to Sylvia, and Chase was dating... nobody.
The police pup, who actually was behind all couple makings thought that all dates which set up for his friends could help him to confess his feelings to Skye, but Marshall was just faster on gaining confidence to ask her out. It was 6 months ago and since then, Chase felt lonely: nobody wanted to talk, play with him. Even Ryder, who started dating Katie. In Egypt, situation got worse: all pups and Ryder started not even noticing that Chase was with them, which lead Chase to stay in his room for all vacation, partically going in pool or sea. Even after returning back to Adventure Bay, nobody had noticed that Chase felt down so much.

So in this rainy day, Chase decided to quit the team as nobody noticed him. When all pups were sleeping peacefully, he quietly exited his puphouse and ran from Lookout as far as he could under the rain, not even caring if he gets sick. 2 hours later the rain has stopped and Ryder told pups that they can exit their puphouses, and that's where Ryder noticed that something is not right. 3 weeks before vacation Rocky and Ryder created a communicator which let Ryder talk with pup when they were in their puphouse and when boy called Chase, he heard silence in response. Ryder decided to check on him and went to Chases puphouse. When he arrived he knocked on door and again silence in response. Ryder used his pup-pad and opened the door to see that Chase wasn't there and pup tag was laying on floor. This made Ryder feel worried so he called pups for mission. 2 minutes later, everybody were on top of the Lookout in their uniforms.

Ryder: So, Chase went missing and we don't know where he is. He didn't left a note about where he went and we also need to find a reason why he did that. Skye, Everest, Marshall, Rubble and Zuma, check everywhere: forest, sea, beach, desert, mountain, everywhere. Paw Patrol in on the roll!

Moments later five pups and Ryder started searching for Chase as the rest of the pups stayed in Lookout in case of emergency.

Sweetie: Guys, did you notice that Chase was... quite sad few moments ago?

Tracker: Si, when we were in airport he didn't even look at us.

Tundra: Nobody tried to talk with him?

Rocky: We were spending time with our second halfs so of course not!

Ella (gasps): Looks like I know the reason of running away.

Tuck: What's it then? Oh... crap. Now I feel bad for him.

Sylvia: Not as worse as Chase who found out that Marshall started dating his crush.

Sweetie: Sylvia, shut it!

Sylvia: Why?? It's true!!

Tracker: Mi reina's right. Maybe we spent too much time with couples so we forgot about our amigo.

Rocky (sighs): Yeah, you're right.

Meanwhile pups were checking each part of Adventure bay, but no success. Chase was like sank underground. Skye decided to check part of forest which was much further from Adventure Bay and Ryder gave a permission to check here, but only for 20 minutes. So Zuma, Rubble, Marshall and Everest drove back to the Lookout as Skye kept searching for him. Suddenly she heard signal on control panel "Low fuel". Realizing that she won't make it to the Lookout Skye decided to land in forest and call Ryder. She made her lading safely and kept looking for Chase, remembering that Ryder gave her 20 minutes for searches. Skye kept looking everywhere in forest for 16 minutes and started losing hope, when she found a pup under the tree laying on blanket and breathing heavily. She came closer and realized that it was Chase. She ran to him quickly and stopped in front of him.

Skye: There you are Chase! We were so worried about you! Why did you run away?

In response she heard heavy sobbing, which made Skye shiver: something wasn't right.

Skye: Chase? Is everything OK?

Silence in response again, as feeling of worry grew bigger.

Skye: Chase, please, say something.

Sobbing in response and then... these three words.

Chase (sobbing): Just... leave... me... (sob)... alone!

Skye: No I won't Chase! Come on!

Chase (sobbing): Really?! 6 months ago you were doing otherwise!

Skye: Alright, I'm calling Ryder! (calls Ryder) Ryder, I found Chase. Yeah my pup-tag should see my coordinates. Ok, waiting for you.

Rocky: Stop stop!! Don't end the call! 

Skye: Rocky?

Rocky (through pup-pad): It was our fault that Chase ran away. Including you.

Skye: What?

Rocky (through pup-pad): He doesn't have a girlfriend, we do! We were speding time with ourselfes soo much that we completely forgot about Chase!

Skye: Including me?

Rocky (through pup-pad): And yeah, Chase had a crush on you, but Marshall asked you out earlier, but it doesn't matter anymore.

Skye immidiately stopped the call and stood in front of Chase, trying to realize all things which Rocky said. She really had a crush on Chase, but she waited for confessing for long time. So she accepted Marshall as her boyfriend and just like 6 months ago, she didn't care how Chase felt about it. Rockys words answered the question. Skye leaned and kissed Chases forehead who kept sobbing.

Skye: I didn't even think that we'll hurt you like this. I'm sorry.

Chase (sobbing): Save it... it's my fault... that... I didn't ask you out... earlier.

Skye: Why I should save it??

Chase (sobbing): I... helped... other pups... to find their... crushes... and ask them out.

Skye: And after that you'd gain confidence to ask me out... right?

Chase (sobbing): Mhm... but does it matter... now?

Skye found an answer to second question: how other pups asked their halfes out. Chase was behind all of it and in response of that help he got ignoring!

Skye (thoughts): I'm sorry Marshall, but Chase deserves me more than you. After what he did and what he got I must help him.

She then laid beside Chase who started snoring quietly because of getting tired of sobs and licked him on cheek. Then Skye nuzzled Chases neck and stroked his head by her left front paw.

Skye (whispers): I love you, and I promise... I'll never leave you alone.

Chase: I... love you too... (snoring)

Skye smiled and stayed with him untill Ryder and Marshall arrived. They got them back to the Lookout, including Skyes copter, Marshall went through break-up with Skye easily and later started dating Taiga, another Everests cousin. Chase was greeted warmly and accepted all apologies from all pups for ignoring him. At same day Chase and Skye were watching the sunset, Skye was staying on Chases back and stroking his ears.

Skye: Feeling no more lonely?

Chase: With you, no more and never!
