Skye watched with other people and pups in horror at bulding in front of them, which terrorists occupied and holding some hostages, ones of them were her parents. Before this incident, Skye was hanging out with her friends, untill she heard shooting and when she came to sounds, immideately realized that they came from shopping center, where her parents were being. Some of Skyes' friends tried to comfort her, but got no success.

Meanwhile in shopping center

Chase, who was one of leaders in this operation was thinking about how he should manage to bring all hostages from building as terrorists wanted to explode all shopping center with themselfes and hostages. Still, a diversion group has almost arrived so Chase decided to hold more time. And then he saw some pups, who were standing with their owners.

Chase: At least, let all dogs go!!! It's the final request!!

Terrorist: *groans and agreeds on arabian*

Chase: Alright, all dogs!! Carefully, follow me and my colleague to the exit!!

Meanwhile outside of shopping center

Skye was getting more and more panice about fate of her parents, as suddenly all people and pups around her clapped in relief as Chase lead behind freed all dogs, including Skyes' parents, which made her squeal from relief. She ran to her parents like a bullet as they hugged each other as soon as parents spotted their daughter. Their hug however lasted not for long time as more shots sounded.

Chase: What's going on?!

SWAT member: All good! We just took all terrorists down!!

Chase: Oh! Nice job!!

Then he looked at Skyes' family, who were comforting each other as some painful memories filled Chases' mind and he walked away. Some colleagues, who were checking on other people noticed him going away and worryingly looked at each other as they knew what happened. 4 minutes later Skye and her family stopped hugging and comforting.

Skyes' dad: It's actually great that police and SWAT arrived in no time!

Skye: Yeah I agree. The german shepherd who was leading you looked very brave.

Skyes' mom: If he didn't try to talk with terrorists about letting us go, we wouldn't be here! Or would be, but injured.

Skye' dad: Hooney!

Skyes' mom: Sorry.

Skye: Hey, where did he go? I wanted to thank him.

Skyes' dad: Or maybe you caught feelings to him! (chuckles)

Skye: Daad!

After that talk, she got an idea and went to other policemen to ask more about Chase.

Skye: Excuse me, sir.

Policeman #1: Yup?

Skye: I want to ask about Chase, he works with you.

Policeman #1: Sure, go on!

Skye: Well, he saved my family and I want to thank him. But he went away.

Policeman #2: Ermm, how should I say... he noticed your family hugging and... some bad memories filled his mind. It's quite usual stuff for him.

Policeman #1: His family actually died in war, since this moment he promised that he'll protect everyone. And... he doesn't have any friends since that war. Anyway, here's address.

25 minutes later

Skye finally managed to find Chases' house as it looked pretty nice. A 2-floor, brown coloured house with black roof. She looked at its' windows to find Chase and noticed him, reading book at living room. Then Skye took a deep breath and went to door to knock on it. Chase heard it and went to let visitor in.

Skye: Sorry, are you Chase?

Chase: Yep, I am, what do you need?

Skye: I... I need to talk with you about something.

Chase: Alright.

They went inside as he lead Skye to living room where they sat on separate couches, because Chase thought that she was a reporter or something like that. Little did he knew, his thoughts were wrong.

Chase: By the way, where's your cameraman?

Skye: Erm, sorry. I'm not a reporter, I'm just a person who want to thank you.

Chase: Oh, did I save some of your relatives?

Skye: My parents actually.

Chase: Oh, you're welcome. I just did my job.

Skye: And kept your promise too.

These words made Chase surprised: where did she find out about that? Then he stood up from his couch and went to look at photo of his parents. He saved up many lifes during his job, many families, but he couldn't save his own family, not by his own fault, despite trying to save them. While looking at it, he wiped off tears as Skye noticed that move and got out from couch. Then she got close to him and hugged from behind. Chase was completely caught off-guard and didn't know what she wants from him.

Chase: What do you want though?

Skye: I want to be... your close person.

Chase: We don't even know each other.

Skye: But thanks to your friends from police, I know something about you.

Chase: I... I don't know. I mean, I've always hid my feelings after each opeartion like todays'.

Skye: So let me be the person for who you can be free to show them! Chase, don't close yourself from anyone who wants to help you. I want us to be more than friends, I want to be your angel, I want to be your painkiller, I want to be your family!

While saying last 2 parts of her speech, Skye was sobbing a little already as Chase hung his head down in thoughts. His parents always wanted to see him being happy in his life, if they were alive, they'd definitely say that he should be with her. After 2 minutes of thoughts, Chase turned to Skye.

Skye: Shoot, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Skye.

Chase: Skye, listen... Promise to me all these things that you said to me. Be one of many parts that complete me, be my soul and... never leave me.

Skye: I promise (hugs Chase).

Two pups hugged each other tightly as their sign of keeping their promises to each other. Now they were like one complete thing and wouldn't go away from each other. Both of them felt happy in their minds as they kept hugging for few more minutes, as Chase then let go.

Chase: Wanna... cuddle with me? So I won't feel lonely for today.

Skye: Sure, sounds good to me.

1 minute later - and they were in Chases' bed, cuddling in blankets, living happily with each other even after. The end!
