About a week later....

Chase's POV
It has been a weeks since I got that horrible fever. The good thing is that I feel pretty good, actually I feel a lot better. And I had the best week yet. I got to spend a lot of time with Skye.
She stayed with me all the time to keep me company. She sleeps with me every night to make sure nothing happens to me at the middle of the night. And one day when we woke up, our muzzles where almost touching, thankfully we didn't kiss. I blushed a lot. I really tried to confess her but I was a bit nervous that she might just reject me. I was definitely running out of time. Zuma might get her before me. I know he kinda likes her.
I mostly caught him staring and standing next to her and they both are really good at pup pup boogie. And I'm barely getting the hang of the game. I'm never going to get her, maybe I should just let Zuma get her and move on, I guess. I'm so stupid, I should have told her I feel about her when I spent all that time with her. God, I'm so stupid!
Then I saw Skye and Zuma playing tag together. Guess she doesn't like me at all. I'm just gonna lay under a tree. Zuma is probably way cooler than me, I guess that why Skye likes him so much. I'm such a loser.

Skye's POV
I was playing tag with Zuma, then I see Chase laying under a tree. He seems a bit sad about something. Is he still sick? I don't think so. He is pretty well now. When I was about to go ask him what's wrong, Zuma had tagged me. "Zuma let's pause the game for a moment I'm pretty tired". "Sure". He walked of to see what the others are doing.
I started walking towards Chase, he has never looked this sad. "Chase, are you okay?", I ask. "Yeah I'm fine", he replies in a happy/sad voice.
"So umm....you wanna do something fun?" I ask. "Sure why not" he said happily. We went inside and started to play pup pup boogie. "Wow Chase you're good at it, you almost beat me" "Well I'm kinda good at the". "Well you need a little bit of practice and will get the hang of it".

Chase's POV
I was done playing pup pup boogie for the day. "Umm... Skye, can I play something else on the Pupconsole". "Ya sure" she said. I took the game out of the console and put in this game called GRID. It's kind of tricky to play but the graphics are sick! I selected the Ford GT40 MKI and started playing it. Skye was in shock to see me play such a hard game.

Wow I can't believe I won, that was a hard game. "Good job winning the race Chase." Skye said. "Thanks, and Chase and race kinda rhymes, right?" "Ya, sort of he he".

Skye's POV
God, he's so good at that game. I could never be good at that game, but I'll try one day. "So what do you want to do now?" I ask. "I dunno, let's see what Ryder is up to". Chase said.
I got the chance to tell Chase that I love him, but I didn't have the guts to do it. He might just reject me because I'm week, small and Chase is strong and serious he will never like a pup like. Maybe I should just forget about this and just move on.
I met Chase a long time ago. When I met him I was like 'wow, it me or he is just handsome and cute', ever since then I wanted to tell how I felt him.
Every night when I go to sleep I always think this way 'Chase will be boyfriend one day, if only I could tell how I feel about him'. I also get weird dreams of me and Chase. Once I got a pretty dirty dream. I don't want to talk about it.
When I had to take care of Chase last week I slept with him every night to make sure nothing happens to him. One morning when we walk up our muzzles was almost touching. I blushed had that day. I could never forget that moment.

Chase's POV
Me and Skye are going to see were Ryder is. I can't stop staring at her. So beautiful. Thank god she didn't notice me that I was staring her. I see Ryder working on the PAW Patroller with RoboDog. Oh way I forget. Ryder replaced by truck's or cruiser's engine with a 5.0 liter V8 but it wasn't all wheel drive (AWD/4x4) like before. Now it's rear wheel drive. Before it had a 3.2 liter V6.
Any way, I ask Ryder what he was doing it, "Hey Ryder". "What are going?" Skye added. "Well I'm getting our PAW Patroller ready for the road trip to the jungle". Ryder said. "We're going to the jungle" we both said that the same time. "Yap, Carlos and Tracker called me and told me if we could come and visit them". Ryder said "But we have a problem" he continues. "What is it Ryder?" I ask. "Well one of you pups need to stay here at the Lookout in case of any emergency". I would really wanna go on this trip, but since I'm the police pup, I have to stay here. "Ryder, I will stay here to look after the Lookout". "But you'll miss all the fun" Skye said in a sad voice. "I really wanna go with you guys, but no it's my responsibility". "Are sure Chase?" Ryder asks. "Ya I'll be fine. As long as you all pups are happy, I'll be happy."

Skye's POV
Chase is gonna be here all by himself. The trip want be the same with him. I think I should stay with him. "Ryder, is it okay if I stay here with Chase?" I ask. "Well it's your choice if you wanna stay or not. If you wanna stay it's okay with me." Ryder said. Yes I got a second chance to tell Chase that I love him. Good thing is we will be alone.

Chase's POV
Skye is gonna stay with me for a day. This is my chance. My last chance to tell Skye that love her. But how? Since Ryder and the other pups will be away for a while, me and Skye will be alone. This is perfect. Then no one will be here to interrupt us.

Ryder's POV
So Chase and Skye is gonna be here alone. This is good. There both might just confess to each other. I just love puppy love.
Well I should tell the other that we gonna go to the jungle. Hope this turns out great. Chase and Skye need to be a couple.

Chase's POV
After a while, the left the Lookout, leaving me and Skye thinking what do to. "So....what do you wanna do?" I ask. "Let's practice pup pup boogie, so you'll be as good as me". Skye reply. "Let's go than, so I can finally beat you". I teased. "Ya in your dreams, he he." She teased back.
Me and Skye are always competitive. We both challenge each other all the time. Even in the most simple things. I put out GRID cd and put in the pup pup boogie cd. I just love seeing Skye dancing like that. She dances pretty actively, I'm kinda clumsy in the game.

Skye's POV
I was pretty well. Me and Chase were really close to the finish. Chase doesn't spend that much time playing games these days. He takes his job pretty seriously. He has morning patrol for about 3 hours and night patrol for 2 hours. I never sleep until Chase comes back from night patrol. Chase waits at the Lookout for about 15 minutes until everyone goes falls asleep. But I only pretend I'm asleep. Right after everyone falls asleep he leaves the Lookout for night patrol. Chase never caught me awake in the middle of the night. But almost every night right after Chase comes back from patrol and falls asleep, I sneak out and look at the night sky thinking about the good times me and Chase as spend. I just love him so much.

Chase's POV
Me and Skye are almost tired with the time. I was trying to impress her as much as possible. "Wow Chase, you're getting pretty good at it." Skye said. "Thanks you're pretty good as well." I said happily. "Any do you think you can beat me in the tail spin." I continue. "Ya I can beat you in everything." Skye teased. "Oh, you on." I said. The tail spin move is pretty tricky. "Let's see who can do it the longest." I said. "Let's do it". She said. "3, 2, 1...TAIL SPIN." We both said at the same time and started spinning. We were spinning for about 2 minutes, until we bumped into each other. Just like the day she teached me how. That time we were far away, this time be crashed into each other.
We both were looking at each other for a while, just looking. But I was looking at her eyes dreamily. God her eyes I beautiful. I was so concentrating on Skye's eyes, she was staring at me as well. Wait, does she like me or something. Naaa, she likes Zuma.

Skye's POV
I was so concentrating on Chase's chocolate brown eyes, until we interrupted by a call from Mayor Goodway. "Oh hey, Mayor Goodway." We both said at the same time. And I blushed, so as Chase. I don't know why he blushed. "Hello Chase and Skye, is Ryder here?" She asked. "Nope, Ryder went on a road trip to the jungle and me and Skye are Looking after the Lookout." Chase said. "Oh okay, it's just Chikalatta has gone missing." Mayor Goodway said. "Chikalatta is missing, again." I said. "Don't worry Mayor, we'll find her. You know what Ryder says know what Ryder says No job is big, No pup is too small." Chase said confidently.
I just love I when Chase says those phrases. "So we need a plan." I said to Chase. "Oh, I got a plan! Me and Mayor Goodway are gonna search for Chickaletta from the ground, while you search her from above, got it." Chase said "Got it." I replied. "Alright, let's get our gear on and move out." Chase said. God he is serious. That why love him so much.
We put on our gears and hope in to our vehicles. "Alright PAW Patrol is no a roll!" Chase said. Just love it when he says it!

Sorry for publishing this chapter too soon. Anyway the rescuing will be coming on the next chapter. I'm glad you all are enjoy my story. Just one important thing.
