Hello, Little Girl
littlecdraws has an idea of Alex and Sketch seeing a little girl who thinks she is their daughter (and I couldn't refuse that!)
Alex and Sketch were strolling down the street, hand in hand. Around the corner, a child was crying. A little girl was sitting outside a building with her head draped against the door.
"Mama... Mama... Mama..." She mumbled between shaky breaths.
Alex raised one of his eyebrows and kneeled beside the girl, "Hi, I'm Alex. Are you alright miss?"
The small one lifted her head up to see Alex and Sketch, "Dadda..." She shivered.
"No, not daddy... Alex." Alex gestured to himself. He waited for the girl to understand before she wrapped her hands around his neck.
Elijah leaned against Alex's shoulder and smiled to the girl, "Hey there, little darling." He added a funny accent, "What's up?"
She giggled then pointed at Sketch, "Momma!" She then pointed at Alex, "Daddy!"
Alex and Sketch looked at each other quizzically. They continued to stare awkwardly at one another until Sketch said, "that's kinky."
"Sketch!" Alex smack Elijah's shoulder. He then proceeded to pick the girl up. "We can't just leave her like this."
"Well, duh. Lets just drop her off at the nearest orphanage and call it a day."
Alex sighed. He was right. They couldn't just illegally take the girl. Especially since the house couldn't fit one more person. However; something about this girl made Alex happy. He didn't know if it was the way she giggled at every dog or how she talked gayly on their way to the orphanage.
When the trio walked into the orphanage, they were greeted by an overly cheerful lady. But the way she grabbed the girl's hand and dragged her into the backroom, and the way the girl reached out to Alex and babbling for him; something sparked inside Alex.
"We'll adopt her."
Thanks littlecdraws for helping me out on this. There will be a part two (most likely about life with Abigail Orman-Best)
