When Elijah left the house, Alex's blush didn't go away. Denis kept butchering him about the flowers.

"I told you that he'd like them!" Denis giggled. "Now when's the wedding?"

"Denis, he doesn't even know that I gave them!" Alex reciprocated.

Denis rolled his eyes and continued to ramble about the gift. Alex grudgingly ignored. Elijah walked in carrying a vase full of orange peonies.

"Need some help?" Denis offered.

"No, no!" Elijah fought back. "I can handle it."

Sub began to sneeze rapidly.

When Alex went to his room, he saw the vase sitting on his nightstand. As he crept towards it, he smiled. He lifted one into the air and let out a deep, relaxed sigh. At the bottom of the vase was a card saying: Alex, thanks for the flowers. -Skoop
