"The world tournament for youth soccer, Football Frontier International, otherwise known as FFI Vision 2 is ready to open, and here at the Holy Road Stadium, the members for the next Inazuma Japan are about to be announced." Kakuma Oushou said

Weeks have passed as they are currently in the stadium. Today is the day where they announce who are going to be a part of the Inazuma Japan. Luna was getting nervous. She already knew that she's a part of it, yet she thought that she might mess up during a match or something. Her hands shaking and looking at the ground. She clearly didn't want to face the crowd. All teams are in line; waiting for the announcement to be heard. Every single player there were either nervous or excited. They all worked hard to be here.

"I wonder who will be chosen." She muttered to herself

She felt a hand on her shoulder, and look up a bit to see Minaho looking at her with a slight concern look on her face. It's been three weeks since they met, and she's aware about his background. Luna thought that he noticed she's nervous.

"You'll be fine Hana besides you were better than me." He said as she chuckled at his statement

"I'm still nervous, but thanks for the encouragement." Luna said

"You're Welcome." He replied

"N-not at all!" Someone said

Luna somehow heard it, and saw a team wearing a yellow uniform with a white collar, and a lightning bolt design that is patched up on the left side of the chest. The two guys near the front were talking a bit loud.

"This time, it's the world!" The short guy said. Quickly after, the captain whispered something to them that lowered the volume of their voices.

The members of Inazuma Japan who will fight against the world are now to be announced.

As the event is going on, Kuroiwa is his office having a conversaton with a doll with a small body and looks like a clown, wearing a multi-colored suit and make up. The name of the doll is Potomuri.

"I appreciate the time you have spent in choosing the members." He said

"Yes." Kuroiwa said

"Nevertheless, what a surprise. For you to choose members such as them..."

"They were chosen exactly because the stakes are high." Kuroiwa said as he stood up and head out

"Show us what you can do, Coach." Potomuri said

"This man, Coach Kuroiwa Ryuusei, will take up the position of Inazuma Japan's coach!" Kakuma Oushou said

Cheers are heard throughout the whole stadium while the players are either getting nervous or excited for the upcoming announcement of members. The responsibility that they need to take as a representative of the country is heavy. This can affect a single player as a whole.

"I am Inazuma Japan's coach, Kuroiwa. You have been gathered at this field because you possess the power suitable for candidacy. However... Out of this group, only twelve of you will be chosen as Japan's representatives." Kuroiwa said

This surprised a lot people. Most teams are usually sixteen members or more for the sake of any problems that could happen, yet he only wants these twelve members on the team. That alone made Luna a lot nervous than before.

"I will now announce the members for the New Inazuma Japan for FFI Vision 2." Kuroiwa said

All eyes are now on him. They've been waiting for this very day. What they don't know is that things are going to be different than they expected.

"And now... Inazuma Japan's captain! Matsukaze Tenma!"

"Shindou Takuto!"

"Tsurugi Kyousuke!"Three names from Raimon Jr. High were already mentioned. The team thought that there would be more, but the unexpected happened.

"Matatagi Hayato!"

The faces of other players are clearly shown here. Each one were surprised when a name from a different team is suddenly called, and it didn't stop there.

"Nozaki Sakura!"

"Kusaka Ryuuji!"

"Manabe Jin'ichirou!"

"Tetsukado Shin!"

"Morimura Konoha!"

"Ibuki Munemasa!"

"Minaho Kazuto!"

"Hanatsuki Luna!"

"Those are the twelve." This surprised everyone. The ones who weren't chosen were sad, and disappointed.

"Congratulations Minaho, Hana," Kita said. Luna knows that he's trying to maintain his composure to congratulate us. Luna, herself, didn't expect Minaho to be a part of the team, but she didn't since she will have a companion in the team.

"Congrats you two!" Andou said

"Thank you!" She replied with a slight sad tone

She really felt bad for the players who worked hard for it, especially the members on the team.

"If your name was called, come up to the front." Funaki Hiromasa(Assistant coach) said

Twelve players from different schools came up to the front. Luna clasps her hands together as she went to the front. She could feel the stares at her. She isn't known to be soccer, but a dancer, and here she is standing on the field as the representative of Japan.

The audience took a good look at the representatives. They only know really few of them, and the commentators look at their profile. Most of the players don't have any previous game data, and that made them a lot more confused. Nevertheless , they simply shrugged it off, and thought that Kuroiwa has his own way of choosing his members.

"All twelve of you have the duty of aiming for the world, is that understood?" Kuroiwa said

"Yes!" They all replied

"Then show me your abilities. We will now hold an exhibition match!" Kuroiwa said

"Eh? An exhibition match?" Luna reacted

"The match will be held in ten minutes." Kuroiwa said as the players went to change their uniforms.

Luna took a good look at the shirt of the uniform; she admired it a bit too much. She still couldn't believe that she's now here; now there's going to be a practice that will happen later on. She immediately put on the shirt with the number 13 behind it.

On the other hand, at the boy's changing room, the three Raimon boys are talking amongst themselves.

"Tenma. We know nothing about their abilities or peculiarities. Will you be able to lead them well?" Shindou asked

"I'm sure there were incredible players around that we didn't just know about. I can't wait to see what they can do!" Tenma replied

Shindou took a second stare before calling them out, "Everyone, listen up! ", the members looked at him with confused looks.

All members lined-up and went back to the field. Cheers were heard all around the stadium; it is evident that the expectations of the people will continue to rise.

"Go show them!"

"You can do it!"

There are additional rules for the FFI Vision 2. All avatars and all other related conduct that have been frequently used up to now are no longer allowed. To be precise avatars, avatar armed, and mixi max are prohibited. What is being desired here are the basic soccer techniques rather than the power emphasis that the people have seen previously. By limiting the players' abilities, they will discover new possibilities. This is the rule that Kuroiwa himself proposed.

The exhibition match to commemorate the birth of Inazuma Japan will now take place! Later it was announced that the team is going up against Teikoku Gakuen. As it was announced, the Teikoku Gakuen players made a grand entrance; this surprised Luna for one and only reason. She is able to meet a player that she admired for a long time now, Kidou Yuuto, the current coach of the Teikoku Gakuen team.They gathered by the bench, and Coach Kuroiwa announced the people playing for this match.

"You will make known to everyone here your abilities." Kuroiwa said

"Yes, Sir!" They all replied

"The ones who are playing in this match are...."

"Forward: Tsurugi, Matatagi."

"Mid-Fielder: Matsukaze, Shindou, Nozaki, Kusaka."

"Defenders: Manabe, Minaho, Tetsukado, Morimura."

"Goalkeeper: Ibuki. That's all!"

This surprised both Luna and Minaho. He is aware of her skills, and wondered on why she is not playing today. The only problem is that he doesn't have the right to complain about it. Kuroiwa's goal after all is victory.

"Hai!" They all replied as they went to their positions while Luna sat on the bench with a girl with dark teal blue hair.

Luna watch the match before her. She wonders on how good will her teammates will be, but what she didn't know is that her teammates are actually inexperienced with soccer. She watched properly, and saw how bad most of the players were.

At first, the Raimon boys were passing the to one another as they went towards the goal. The ball was stolen from the captain using a hissatsu technique called Sargasso v2, but the number nine player was able to cover for him. Then he initiated a hissatsu that guides the players to their positions. Despite what he said earlier, no one followed his instructions. It's slowly pissing him off, and in the end, it was a fail. Luna, on the other hand, was already feeling bad for the three Raimon boys. She didn't expect her other teammates to be like that even Minaho.

"What's going on with these guys? Is this a joke? Even Minaho is not doing well." Luna thought

"Wait," Then she realized something

"I've had a look on the player's data." Luna heard what the dark teal blue-haired girl said

"Tetsukado Shin. He holds the world title in boxing, but has zero experience with soccer." She said

"What? If he has zero experience, then why was he chosen?" She thought as she watches Tetsukado dodges a pass from the captain.

"Is he stupid!? Why did he dodged that?" She thought

Luna was both frustrated and confused. She didn't expect to hear that kind of information about him, but it doesn't end there. She continues watching the match, and she saw the short spiky brown hair catch up to the captain. He chased the opponent who has ball, and went for a quick race. He won the so called "race," but he didn't steal the ball.

"He's fast." Luna thought

"Matatagi Hayato, from the track club. He can run so fast that he's known as the speed star, but he is also a beginner at soccer." She said

The ball was soon passed to a girl with dark green hair. She stared at the ball, but she soon face one of the players from Teikoku. Instead of protecting the ball, she got scared of his stare and gave the ball to him.

"Morimura Konoha. No experience whatsoever in an athletics club." She said

"Are you okay?" The captain ask

"I've never played soccer before..." Konoha said

"What?" Tenma said. He was really surprised about it.

On the other hand, a guy with the brown bandanna made a rough play to steal the ball. That move impressed some people. Despite stealing that ball from one player, it was stolen from him with a rough play. In the end, things didn't well that nearly went for a physical fight.

"Kusaka Ryuuji. A hardcore delinquent who controls five school gangs." She said

"F-five school gangs!" Luna said a bit loud

"Oh you were listening?" The girl asked Luna

"Ummm... yeah.... sorry." Luna replied

"It's alright. You're bound to find out about it anyway." Coach Kuroiwa said

"Manabe Jin'ichirou. He also has no experience in athletics, but he does have an interesting history. He's the champion of Japan's superhuman computation contest." She said

"He's that smart?" Luna wondered

"Nozaki Sakura. An ace at rhythmic gymnastics."

"Minaho Kazuto. His father is a brilliant detective whose expertise awarded him recognition from the Police Commissioner."

"Minaho's father... is a detective?" Luna asked

"Yes. Did he not tell you about it?" She asked

"No." Luna replied

Luna continues to watch the match. One of the players used his hissatsu to shoot, but the goalkeeper was able to block it. A lot of people cheered, but something was off. He suddenly starts to dribble the ball, and went out his spot. Boos were now heard everywhere.

"Ibuki Munemasa. He is a world-class basketball player." She said

"Is that guy an idiot?" Luna asked slowly getting pissed at the goalkeeper

The Teikoku Gakuen starts to score points, and things are getting out of hand. The opponents currently have a three point lead. The frustration and anger of the audience are starting to show more.

"To complete the profile, Hanatsuki Luna. A legendary champion of the Annual 'The Lights International Competition: Singing and Dancing Division' for the last three years; despite being a great performer, she has the most experience in soccer amongst the non-soccer players. Was that right, Hanatsuki-san?" She said

"Yeah... That's right." Luna replied with a slight surprised expression

"Anyways what are you going to do now about this match?" She asked to Coach Kuroiwa

"We'll finish this match." Coach Kuroiwa replied

Despite of everything that happened to the match, the captain kept being positive, and tried to win the game. The three Raimon played the game. They didn't passed the ball to anyone else besides themselves. In the end, Inazuma Japan lost with a score of 3-1. Many people were disappointed about the results of the exhibition match.

"What are you going to do about this?! At this rate, Inazuma Japan's reputation is in ruins! Why on earth would you choose these members?!" Funaki Hiromasa asked Kuroiwa

"I have no need to explain myself to you. I am the coach." Kuroiwa said as he went back to his office with the dark teal-blue hair girl.

"They're the worst... They're the worst Inazuma Japan in the history!" Funaki said in a very annoyed tone

On the other hand, Kidou and Gouenji stood next to each other looking at the new players that will represent the whole country.

"What are you thinking, Coach Kuroiwa? No....

....

My mentor, Kageyama Reiji......" Kidou thought

"Kidou." Gouenji called

"What is it?" Kidou asked

"There's one member who wasn't able to play. Do you have info about her?" Gouenji asked referring to Luna.

"Oh her... I think she's the performer one." Kidou said

"A performer?" Gouenji thought as he looked at the purple-haired girl

Luna stared at the new players, she's confused. Luna has no idea on Kuroiwa's reason on choosing the members of Inazuma Japan. It made her doubt her place in the team.

"Is this a joke? Did he choose me as a joke?" Luna thought

"You." Someone called Luna

"If you're as terrible as them, then you might as well quit!" Funaki said

"What?" She thought

"You probably can't say anything because it's true." Funaki said to Luna that made her pissed off

"What do you know?" She muttered

"Huh?" Funaki asked

"You don't know anything about me! So don't you ever dare judge me without seeing me do it yet!" She declared

"Oh really? Then why didn't Kuroiwa let you play in the match?" Funaki asked

"I-I don't know..." Luna quietely replied

"Maybe that's why... you're terrible like them." Funaki said in a haughty tone

"Just because I didn't play today, that doesn't mean I'm a terrible player!" Luna shouted at him

"What's going on here?" Gouenji asked the two

"Gouenji-san! This is ludicrous! These members do not deserve to be here! I suggest to eliminate the members at once starting with this girl here!" Funaki said as he pointed towards to Luna

"Isn't it rude to simply judge them without them doing anything?" Kidou said as he joined the conversation

"Well..yeah, but this is a joke to the people-"

"Then you don't have the right to judge her just like that." Kidou finished the sentence

"But-"

"Let her prove it." Gounji interupts

"What?" Funaki angrily reacts

"That's a good idea." Someone suddenly joined the conversation

The four looked behind them, and they saw Kuroiwa walking towards them with a smirk on his face. Behind him was the girl who's been following him this whole time.

"Coach Kuroiwa..." Luna silently muttered

"If you have complaints with her as a member of the team, then I want you to observe her movements on the first match." Kuroiwa said

"Wait- what?!" Luna instantly reacted

"That's a good idea." Gouenji agrees

"Fine! If she ends up messing up the match, then I would to change the coach of this team." Funaki suggests

"Very well then. That is a deal." Kuroiwa said as he suddenly leaves again

"I'll be looking forward to your plays on the first match." He cockily said as he left the stadium

"Are you alright kid?" Kidou asked Luna

"W-what am I going to do?" Luna panickly thought

"Hey Kid!" Kidou called a bit louder that caught her off her thoughts

"Oh right... I'm alright. It's just that..." Luna said

"It's just what?" Gouenji asked

"Well... I'm just simply nervous. I have played soccer before, but I don't know what his expectations on being a member of Inazuma Japan." Luna said in a calm quiet tone

"It's alright to be nervous." Gouenji said

"So tell us... How long have you been playing soccer?" Kidou said

"Well... I've been playing soccer since I was seven or eight... I think?" Luna said

"Seven? That's like five years ago. Why are you nervous about this when you have proper experience in soccer?" Gouenji asked

"I can't really say that I have proper experience. I've only participated in soccer in an activity or a mini event. I've never played in a real match before." Luna explains

"I see... To be honest with you, that is not a bad thing." Gouenji said

"I know, but I know to myself that I have to work harder to prove myself, and I want to help win this tournament!" Luna said with pure passion

Both Gouenji and Kidou showed a slight smile on their faces.

"I see... You kinda remind me of someone ummm.. I'm sorry what's your name?" Kidou asked

"Oh I'm Hanatsuki Luna!" Luna replied

"Hanatsuki-san, do you know who we are?" Gouenji asked

"Yes. Gouenji Shuuya and Kidou Yuuto. I always rewatch your matches whenever I have time." Luna happily said

"I see. It's nice to know that." Gouenji said

"Anyways, we want to give you an offer." Kidou said

"An offer?" Luna asked

"Meet us after your first practice tomorrow. Just simply stay at the stadium a bit longer." Kidou said

"Alright." Luna said as she waved goodbye at the two adults.

"Are you sure about this Kidou?" Gouenji asked

"Don't worry. There's someone who's been available lately, so this wouldn't be a problem." Kidou said

"Alright then." Gouenji said
