Another day, Another visit to S.

It was going on like usual, Adam being a dick, Langa getting himself into stupid stuff that would probably kill any normal skater, Reki trying to stop him from doing the stupid stuff and Miya being Miya.
So what made this different?
Well it seemed more girls than usual were fawning over Joe, it was normal for him to get lots of attention, but tonight he could barely move without being swarmed.

Cherry stood by pretending not to notice, but in reality he was ticked, "He's mine. He's only to be mine..." His brain repeated but it didn't matter.

Joe soaked himself in the attention barely noticing his friend's discomfort.

"Joe, call me!"
"You look handsome as ever!"
"I'd love to watch you skate!"
"Take me out sometime, Joe!"

So much praise and attention, and Joe enjoyed every second of it. Yet he knew something felt wrong, a weird lack of snarky comments and judgmental remarks. Kaoru, where was Kaoru?
He looked around but the bright Sakura colored ponytail was nowhere in sight.

"Hey ladies, you haven't seen Cherry around have you?" He got no useful responses and sighed before going back to pleasing the girls.

It was early the next morning and Kojiro had called and messaged his friend over and over receiving no answers, "Kaoru, where are you?" He grumbled on his way to work.
As soon as Kojiro walked inside he noticed the familiar hoodie of Miya, "Chinen!" He called catching the young boy's attention, "Hey Joe, need something?"
"Have you seen Kaoru?"
Miya sighed with a roll of his eyes, ''No, last I saw him was last night at S and he was just sulking away from everyone."

This made Kojiro worry more, absolutely forgetting his fucking job😃
He ran out the restaurant with the intentions of finding his friend under any circumstances.
He quickly ran all the way to Sakurayashiki's as fast as he possibly could in this state not caring as he opened the door and made his way to his friend's bedroom.

"Kaoru open up!"

No answer, just a franzied shuffling and choked sobs, there was no way he had been crying right?

"KAORU!"

Kojiro yelled in desperate panic until he finally got the door open only to be met with the sight of his best friend and long time suppressed crush shaking in a corner, face and clothing stained in tears.
"Kaoru..."

The pink haired male didn't bother moving or looking up until he felt himself being picked up, "Wh- PUT ME DOWN YOU OVER GROWN APE!"

Joe hummed and set Kaoru down on his bed, moving strands of stray hair out the latter's face before his hand traveled to caress the other's cheek, "You've been weird since last night, tell me what's wrong..."

A moment of silence passed before tears resumed streaming down Kaoru's face, "Why?! You like all of them and not me! You could have any drop dead gorgeous girl you want...so why be concerned about-"

The rambling was cut short as Kojiro kissed him softly.

"Sorry, couldn't think of any better way to shut you up. Now listen to me."

Kaoru crossed his arms with an uncharacteristically childish pout but stayed put.

"What triggered this? You've never cared about me with girls before?"

"I always cared...last night was a bit much I guess. Now explain the kiss you ogre!"

An amused chuckle dripped from Kojiro's lips, "Hm, I didn't think Jealousy could break you down."

"STOP AVOIDING THE FUCKING QUESTION!"

Kaoru slapped his friend's chest although to no avail. "Sakurayashiki..."
Kaoru looked up, having not been called that in years, not by Kojiro at least,

"Go on a date with me..."
